2-Star Hotels in Karabuk Province, Türkiye

The location is very good, a five-minute walk to the old town. There is a parking lot. The breakfast is delicious and the service is friendly. There are no disadvantages except that the toilet is a little smaller.

During our trip to the city of Sanfranbolu, we had an extraordinary lodging experience. The house, constructed of stone, was adorned with meticulous decorations throughout, reflecting the care and attention of the hostess. Breakfast was a delightful surprise in the morning, featuring homemade jams crafted from a plethora of organic ingredients, tantalizing pancakes, salads, and a variety of cheeses, all accompanied by the classic Turkish tea. What truly enhanced our stay was the enjoyable conversations with the host. Thanks to the guidance of this geology and history professor, our Turkish itinerary underwent significant revisions. Overall, it was an unforgettable accommodation experience!

It would be nonsense to come to Safranbolu and stay in a normal hotel. They restored the old mansions and turned them into hotels. There is such a hotel in Yorgancıoğlu Mansions, the rooms have been restored with woodworking, originality intact, the staff are completely family employees, they are all friendly.

The view is stunning, and the room is clean, although I was a bit disappointed because I didn’t get the room I had booked. I reserved a room with a balcony but didn’t receive one. However, it’s okay because the host is very friendly, and you won’t go hungry while staying here.

Интересный отель, аутентичный. Рядом в пещерах ”...в древности жил один из величайших святителей христианства — Григорий Богослов. Вплоть до XX века в этих местах имелась греческая христианская община, однако после греко-турецкой войны в ходе обмена населением греки выехали в Грецию, а на их места были поселены турки из Салоник и Кавалы.” Завтрак хороший. Есть недочёты, например, запах канализации в санузле в нашем номере Isbar.

The room environment and facilities are good, very clean, located next to the City History Museum, very convenient to the center of the ancient city, good location. Breakfast is very rich, but there are no eggs. The staff will not communicate in English. It is more troublesome.  Please help to call for a rental before leaving. It takes 5 minutes to arrive. After waiting for 10 minutes, it has not arrived. I am ready to walk to the center of the ancient city.
