The hot water is stored in a tank and turns into cold water after a certain amount of use. It was hard to find the entrance from the street, but a kind man showed me the way. The photos on the booking site look pretty good, but the building is actually quite old. Breakfast is free and decent. The staff are all very kind. The roof terrace was relaxing.

I think the best quality of this hotel is the service which was perfect . They were sooo nice and welcoming. Booked an early airport drop off for me in a reasonable price and packed my breakfast for the flight! (Which btw is included in the price of the room. The room comes with shampoo, toothbrush and paste, enough water, coffee and tea and there's a kettle. I only needed one night and for that it was good, but! 🙏 If you want a clean room, that is the weak spot of the place The room was not clean, there were stains and hairs on the bad (not mine) And there's a wall-to-wall carpet which is old and dirty So I'm having mix feeling in this review. Overall, I recommend for short term stays :)

I was in Nepal for a long time, so I was really happy to find a hotel at this price. The owner was very nice and the service was good. They also helped us get a taxi when we went out. The breakfast was good and you had to pay for it separately. I will stay in this hotel again next time. The hot water is very helpful. Qiang Lei recommends this hotel

Good value for short stay only. Just needed a room to stay for the night as we had an early morning flight to catch. Best part of the hotel is the front desk hotel staff. Very helpful and friendly even though we had to bother him to help with luggage very early morning.

Отличное место! Удобное расположение, есть кухня, на первом этаже электрочайник и питьевая вода. В номере полотенце, мыло, тапочки, в душе горячая вода. Но самое главное - персонал! Просто замечательные ребята! Всегда помогали и делом, и советом. Отель расположен на улице Мандала, так что достаточно тихо. Я ещё буду возвращаться в Катманду, и я уже знаю, где остановлюсь. Спасибо, ребята! Вы супер!

This hostel is really unique. I loved feeling like I was staying in the bush as I looked out at the trees through my window in the morning. It was pretty cold and there's no heating in the room, so I struggled to get out of bed, but the bedding kept me warm enough throughout the night. Unfortunately, they didn't have a kettle in the room to help keep me warm with a little hot water, but they did give me a thermos of hot water from the restaurant when I asked about it. The shower also never remained warm for long. These shortcomings were made up for by the unique environment and the wonderful views up at the restaurant/communal area. On the last day, I could see the Himalayas clearly from there. It was beautiful. There is also a great variety of reasonably priced food at the restaurant. The hotel is also about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town and 10 minutes walk in the other direction is a great place to view the sunrise. The staff were happy to help out and give directions when I asked. Of course, it would have been even nicer if they had offered some of that information on my arrival rather than waiting for me to ask. Overall, a great place to stay!

ideal location away from the noise but still walkable distance from the downtown area. clean rooms, spacious bathrooms, and modern building design. Management/ owners are very friendly who gave me room upgrade and show extensive local knowledge and hospitality experience.

The place is a simple standard room, good for short stays. I was there for two nights. Everyone were very nice and helpful, and you can also book buses through the reception in good prices! Not the cleanest room, and amnesties were not included.

The pictures of the hotel are consistent with the pictures of the room I actually stayed in.

Ok, so my review is completely honest, and as such, based on value, I have to give 5/5, but for me personally, I wouldn't stay again. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. This is very important indeed, and again based on the price, the standards are exceptional, especially pertaining to cleanliness and overall tidiness. This is more of a hotel though - a sort of hybrid between private rooms and small dormitories. As a backpacker (though from time to time it is nice to have a quieter and cleaner place), I look for more atmosphere, socially speaking. There were other tourists here, but it was very quiet indeed. The rooftop was very pleasant though, and they did have football showing on the television. The ambience there is nice and I was given a complimentary tea, though the menu prices are expensive. The showers had hot water most of the time, but not always. The WiFi (not the fault of the hotel) was also down due to street repairs for my stay, so I can't comment on the speed. Lastly, the owner was accommodating and pleasant and likewise the staff too. Again, to reiterate, for the price, the value is very good indeed, it's just not my personal preference. Hope this helped 👍
