The price of the shared room seems reasonable considering the quality and location—close to the heart of Thamel. However, the room is a bit small, and during hot seasons, dealing with the heat without AC can be a challenge. I’d like to highlight the excellent reception service, especially from Mónica, who was very attentive and always willing to chat or help with anything. I’m truly grateful for the staff’s hospitality.

The place is a simple standard room, good for short stays. I was there for two nights.
Everyone were very nice and helpful, and you can also book buses through the reception in good prices!
Not the cleanest room, and amnesties were not included.

Great location, excellent hotel, quiet and peaceful, with access to the roof.
You can also order room service, very convenient.
It's a 10-15 minute walk to popular spots, and 7 minutes to Thamel. We had a great time, highly recommended.
Water was provided every day, and we didn't need anything else at the hotel.

Great place! Conveniently located, there's a kitchen, an electric kettle, and drinking water on the ground floor. The room comes with towels, soap, and slippers, and the shower has hot water. But the most important thing is the staff! They're simply wonderful! They were always helpful, both in person and with advice. The hotel is located on Mandala Street, so it's quite quiet. I'll be returning to Kathmandu again, and I already know where I'll be staying. Thanks, guys! You're amazing!

I think the best quality of this hotel is the service which was perfect .
They were sooo nice and welcoming.
Booked an early airport drop off for me in a reasonable price and packed my breakfast for the flight! (Which btw is included in the price of the room.
The room comes with shampoo, toothbrush and paste, enough water, coffee and tea and there's a kettle.
I only needed one night and for that it was good, but! 🙏 If you want a clean room, that is the weak spot of the place
The room was not clean, there were stains and hairs on the bad (not mine) And there's a wall-to-wall carpet which is old and dirty
So I'm having mix feeling in this review.
Overall, I recommend for short term stays :)

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay before my flight back home, as it coincided with election day. I chose it because of the positive reviews from Japanese guests. I checked in around 5 PM, and the staff greeted me with big smiles. I was instantly delighted to see Doraemon playing in Hindi on a screen in the entrance lobby! The room was incredibly spacious for one person, and I could relax by watching YouTube, Nepalese TV, and dramas on the TV. I was surprised to find a toilet with both large and small flush buttons, which is rare in Nepal. The shower room was also very large and had a shower curtain, making it very comfortable. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was substantial and delicious.

Come in and go uphill and then downhill and turn right. It’s not good to drag the box.
The room is very hot during the day, it is cool outside, come back at the end of October next time, the bathroom is on the first floor, clean
The landlord is warm and friendly, the family lives here
There is a small yard, there is a balcony, there is a blue bucket to soak clothes to dry haha
Walk straight down the road to the end of the Duba Square
The boss has a variety of tourist information, went to the bus in Pokhara, and sent me to the bus station, very close
Everyone can book, our software is prepaid, the boss may not know, but I let him take a photo!

AAnonymous UserLocation is alright, there’s occasional cockroaches running past you when you are in the room, cleanliness has a lot to improve on. Worst part is that I booked a single room and was given a room next to the elevator with a window without curtain, anyone tall enough would be able to look into my room and everything in it, to add on to that, the room was next to the elevator and you can hear every footstep and noise/chat coming from the corridor, and when the elevator moves, there’s this super unnecessary music that runs with it so you would get a sense of that throughout the day and night. When I went to the receptionist to ask for a different room, she told me there’s no other rooms available and I have to pay an extra 1500 rupee to upgrade to a different room, that amount, adding with the original I paid for- would already be much higher than a standard deluxe room. Obviously she and the hotel was trying to scam me by leveraging on giving a super lousy room at first. Even though they eventually agreed to change room for me at no charge, I was honestly traumatised by this hotel and was uncomfortable through the stay. Then at check-out in the next morning, the guy was reluctant to let me go asking if I had already paid and making calls to confirm about it. Overall there’s surely better rooms for similar price in Thamel, so do try to skip this hotel unless you like some good memorable reasons to spoil your trip.

ZZhangmingruThis trip to Nepal was a great experience staying at Flock Hostel! The hostel is clean and tidy, and the environment is quiet and pleasant. The front desk staff are excellent, whether they are handsome guys or gentle beauties, they are all warm and considerate. Every time I go out to take a taxi, they will take the initiative to help contact the driver, making the journey worry-free and safe.

KKekoraI stayed here near the airport in preparation for my flight the next morning. When I asked the staff about the breakfast time, I got different answers depending on who I asked. When I went to the breakfast venue in the morning, it wasn't ready yet, so I had them call my room when it was ready.
The showers are quite local and don't come with a conditioner, so if you want to use them, it's better to bring your own.
It was helpful to be able to pick up and drop off from the hotel to the airport.

BBernard VoonThe resort provides pickup service from the bus stop. Upon bus arrival, the driver was already on standby to bring us to the hotel.
The room that we got was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable as well. Shower water was not strong but still useable. Having said that, the tv in the room wasn't working and should be fixed. The bidet water was also very weak and was leaking if we don't shut it from the source.
The resort also has many options of safari tours. The chose the river canoe ride + bird watching + elephant breeding center as well as the jeep ride in safari. Mr Jagat who guided our jeep tour was the best guide one could ask for. He was patient to show us the animal and very knowledgeable.
Lastly i would like to commend on every staff at the resort. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Despite there are some areas of improvements, i would recommend this resort for their excellent service.
Additionally do go for their cultural dance show. It's worth it. Have fun and experience their culture. I love Chitwan and would recommend people to visit.

The breakfast was simple but good.
The Rooftop offers great views above the city and some relaxing chairs.
It can be a bit loud during the night because there is a nightclub right next to the place
