I got lost three times at the wrong branch of the swing & pillow hotel. It was very tiring. And you know what? It turns out this hotel is next to Bary Inn. And this used to be part of the Bary Inn hotel so it still looks newly renovated. The room is small, suitable for short transit. The downside is there are no tea / coffee sachets in the room, no shampoo, no toothbrush provided. Around me I only found two restaurants that require a 10-minute walk. For comfort and security, it's quite good because we are given two cards, one access card to enter the hotel and one card for the room. The bed is a bit short for me who is 175cm 🤭 but the front desk staff are very friendly. Hopefully in the future there will be improvements and service enhancements so that transitors will want to stay here. because the other branches are better and have more places to eat.

Service highlights include: 24-hour front desk, express check-in/check-out, multilingual staff, etc. Location highlights: Close to a gas station, near attractions/business districts/shopping malls, and the surrounding area is safe and quiet. However, there isn't a convenience store nearby, but if you don't mind, you can grab a coffee at the Starbucks located at the gas station.

A convenient stay as it is just located above Mamak Pelita restaurant. Easy to fill you stomach. Nearby also got many foods according to your taste, example nandos, shawarma, sushi king, CU mart, Family Mart, Secret Recipe and many more in the ampang point shopping mall. The hotel is located just opposite ampang point shopping centre. Usually the hotel provide elevator but during my current visit, the elevator broke down and I had to climb 3 storey to my room alongside my luggage 🥲

my second stay here, it was great except the parking part. for parking visitors must pay at least rm9/day (but this is the least) the amount can go up. cheaper parking available at neo damansara. so please park there, do not park at the same building because it will cause you great steal (parking rate is so crazy). basically you need to cross the road to park. cleanliness: everything is clean except there is yellow stain on towel and bedsheet. but its actually clean but the stain just wont disappear. hair at the toilet seems normal after someone used the bathroom. smell: been reading some bad reviews that there is bad odour in the toilet but actually its tolerable. i think the smell happened because of poor ventilation. staff: all staffs are friendly and helpful. glad to meet each one of them. 😁 noise: been reading reviews there seems to be loud banging music at the upstairs (like club). for me, it didnt bother me at all but i understand if it did bother others. conclusion: as for me i totally recommend if you want to stay at totally cheap price with everything provided (water, toiletries, gym etc.) with great privacy and cleanliness it totally win me over. but if you get annoyed over little things like noise or smell or stain that couldnt be washed off maybe just stay somewhere else. this place is not for fancy stay but just for a quick comfy stay. if there is chance, i really wanted to stay here again 🤩

Affordable and quiet nice for short stay especially if you transit more than 24 hour. Can use grab to go here. But beware scam by grab, they ask to raise the fare (different from Grab Apps). For this price point, the room was really good. The front desk had translation software, and the service was very enthusiastic, so I had no problems communicating at all. If I have the chance again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable, just a small comment: the room door lock was a bit loose, and the air conditioning swing function wasn't working. Other than that, it was okay if you just needed a place to sleep, very, very comfortable. The staff were also kind and friendly 🤍

The hotel itself offers a no-frills, straightforward stay. My check-in process was smooth and efficient, conducted by staff who were polite and helpful. The room provided was modest in size and furnished with basic amenities such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and essential toiletries. The bed was reasonably comfortable for a budget hotel, and I appreciated having access to stable internet for planning my trip and catching up on work. Cleanliness, while generally acceptable, is an area that could be improved. The room was tidy, but certain corners and fixtures showed signs of wear and could benefit from deeper upkeep. That said, nothing was overly problematic—just something to be aware of if you are particular about immaculate spaces. The surrounding area is very convenient, with eateries, convenience stores, and small shops located nearby. Whether you're craving local Malaysian dishes or need a quick drink from a minimart, everything is within walking distance. Despite the urban environment, the nights were relatively quiet, allowing for restful sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, Batu Caves Hotel is best suited for practical travelers, backpackers, short-stay guests, and anyone who values strategic location and affordability. It’s not a luxury stay, but it delivers exactly what it promises—a simple, budget-friendly accommodation close to one of Malaysia’s must-visit attractions.

Book this hotel for its location for attending class nearby. The booking was easy with Trip.com at a very good price. Only street parking is available for this hotel. There are many different restaurants (Chinese, Western, Korean, deseert bar) and a few pubs around this area. Selected a twin-bed room with a window. The room looks clean and neat. Just the naminated flooring is not in good shape. There is a kettle with coffee and tea in the room, but no fridge. The toilet amenities are complete with body and hair shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shower cab, and razor. All our daily hygiene needs are here. Hence, save the hassle of bringing it. The front desk staff is friendly too. Overall, I was happy with the booking and the stay in this hotel

I don't have high expectations since it's cheap, but the blanket, bedsheet, pillow cover, etc. have stains. Cleanliness is the least thing you can offer to your guests.
