Guest UserVery clean and it felt like home. Sabi pa nga ng anak ko ay ”We're home!” Good water pressure sa cr and madali imanage ang heater. May water heater din na nagamit namin para sa milk ng bebe. Plus points sa access thru Bo's coffee, nasa side kasi ang main entrance, ayaw ko lumakad na may kasalubong na cars lalo na may kids na kasama. Ang saya din ng kids sa swimming pool with view of the Villar land, sobrang hangin lang sa taas kaya nanginig sa lamig yung 2y.o. pero sobrang enjoy ng 8y.o. and he was able to play with the other kids. Less hassle pa kung may mga kailangan bilhin dahil sa dami ng stores outside the building, puro nga kami kain. We recommend Tinatangi Cafe nearb, sa Salawag, kung may car, pero pwede din naman siguro tricycle na lang. Very good wifi connection din sa room and the tv kasi naiwan naka log in ang yt premium account ng last guest siguro na nagstay doon. Very much recommended din kung may mga bisita kayo, naisip ko talaga ito para sa relatives namin kung bibisita sila, cause we also live around the area.

A very budget friendly accommodation. Just perfect for some few days to stay and feel the cold breeze of Tagaytay. Very convenient to get a meal or coffee because Aristocrat and Starbucks is just right across the street.

Location is a bit secluded from the city center. Staffs are accomodating though not going beyond and just provided whatever requested for instance we requested to retrieve the cake and they didnt offer utensils or think about whenever we would consume it for my partner's birthday,
The room lacks refrigerator which might be a necessity. There's only one swimming pool.

Anonymous UserWe enjoyed our stay! Some improvements should be made, i feel like it's too crowded in weekends I suggest for them to build a different pool for condo owners and hotel renters as i assume both goes to the same pool. Also, I hope it should be well maintained, some of the rooms/ areas are not clean enough, dust and paints are chipped, grass are too high and should install more lights too! It makes us scared to roam around cause there might be snakes or also cant see the beauty of it at night. But overall perfect of you want a peaceful and laid back stay in tagayta

The room, amenities, hotel ambiance, and service at Via Appia Hotel are great. The staff are friendly, and the place is very comfortable.
The only issue I experienced was with the bathroom heater and hot water. The heater initially wasn’t working, so I called for it to be fixed. The technician came. Tried to fix it and said it was working now. However, when it was time to shower before checkout, the hot water in the bathroom only lasted for a few seconds before turning cold again. I had to turn the water off and on repeatedly to get hot water for short periods. This can be quite inconvenient, especially since the hotel is in Tagaytay, where the weather is very cold.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but improving the hot water system would make the experience much better.

I booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration.
We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable.
The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning.
One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together.
Overall, our stay at Villa Ibarra was exceptional. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. We are grateful to the staff for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable.
Highly recommend Villa Ibarra for anyone looking for a special and unforgettable getaway!
Thank you, Villa Ibarra, for an amazing experience!

The hotel has informed me when I checked in, that the photos of the room I booked which I saw from trip.com’s site, was not the same as what they will give me. And since we were tired from the long travel, I just agreed as long as the number of beds that I’ve booked were the same and the room was senior-friendly. The room was, in general, clean and spacious. However, the phone and the TV were not working. I informed the reception about it and was told it would be fixed after 3 days. The toilet was a disappointment as it looked dilapidated and mouldy. Overall, the staff were friendly and the place looked nice, however, I think there would be a better place to go that is the same as the price I paid.

Here is a draft of your review that balances the convenience of the location with your honest take on the service and facilities. You can post this on sites like Tripadvisor, Google Maps, or Agoda:
Review Title: Best for Golfers, but Average Elsewhere
Rating: 3/5 Stars
If you are playing rounds of golf at Eagle Ridge, you cannot beat this hotel’s location. It is perfectly situated for easy access to the courses, which is the main reason to stay here.
However, the rest of the experience is quite average. The rooms are ”fine” but weren't super clean during my stay. The service from the staff is also just okay—nothing stands out as exceptional. As for the breakfast, the options are very limited and there isn't much variety to choose from.
Pros:
Unbeatable location for golfers playing at Eagle Ridge.
Convenient for early tee times.
Cons:
Room cleanliness could be improved.
Mediocre service.
Very few breakfast options.
Bottom Line: Stay here for the convenience of the golf course, but don't expect a luxury experience or a high level of service.
