The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I particularly appreciated how the bath and luggage storage areas were separate from the capsule area, which made for a much quieter and more restful stay compared to other similar facilities.
There were also plenty of showers, sinks, and hairdryers, so I never felt like it was crowded.
Another nice touch was that each guest received their own bath mat. This kept the changing rooms clean and dry, which was a pleasant surprise.
My only minor complaint was that my capsule felt a bit cold. Even with thermal underwear under the provided loungewear, I woke up in the middle of the night because of the chill. It would be even more comfortable if blankets were available for rent or if the room temperature could be adjusted.
This place is a rustic ryokan with stories. While it is not luxurious ryokan, but I had great experiences. Room is rather small but that’s all we needed. There are public bath and private baths available. I enjoyed using public bath.
Dinner and breakfast were good. Not overwhelming but very tasty.
Staffs were nice and very attentive. At the last day, grandma came and greeted us during departure. The ryokan also offered to drop us off at the train station.
Pet-friendly cat hostel. Small, medium and large dogs welcome.
Pet cleaning fee is extra
There are places nearby where you can take your dog for a walk
The largest room has a refrigerator, microwave, massage chair, and ice machine.
And all you can drink liquor
I was happy to be able to have breakfast, and I was also satisfied with the local zunda mochi.
The electric kettle provided had deteriorated and gave off a plastic smell every time I used it, so I think it's time to buy a new one.
I had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Tsukasa in Sendai. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. My room was beautifully designed in the style of a traditional Japanese house, and I had the unique experience of sleeping on the floor like a true Japanese. I also loved wearing the traditional robe provided in the room — it added an authentic touch to the stay. Everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this ryokan to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Sendai!
It was a very beautiful and comfortable inn.
Breakfast is very delicious and very satisfying as it is reputation.
The bath was clean and slow.
I want to stay again when I go to Kesennuma.
Thank you for your help. It was likely to be later than the check-in time, so when I contacted you early, it was good that the response was very pleasant! When I arrived, it was dark and old building, so I thought it was cheap, so I thought it was possible to do it, but it was nice to be cleaned in a comfortable space where the feeling of hospitality was transmitted everyday! It was a good place to want to use it again.
I didn't hear any noise around me, and I enjoyed the breakfast, which had a surprisingly good selection.
There is also a convenience store next door, so I think this is a hotel with a good total value for money.

KkaruizawaThe room is still relatively large, quiet and comfortable, the mirror on the wall is very chic, impressive, like the sauce soup for breakfast, typical Japanese ^_^

GGuest UserThe place is walkable distance from train station. Accessible food places and 7-11 store. Ishinomaki is quiet and cosy area to stay in. Morning breakfast is nice and check in and out is easy.

SsuvidaPerfect place for relaxing after the hard weekend, onsen on site and Japanese style bedroom are perfect when you come to Japan. The manager is very very kind, gentle and helpful. The greeting message in the room when we arrived really made my day thank you 💗☺️
PPornthida Tansiri JohnsonNice traditional Japanese hotel. The room was conveniently located on the first floor.
The only things to keep in mind there as a foreigner (very broken English at best). Using a translation device or app in your phone is essential for communication. The room we stayed did not have a private shower. If a shower is needed it will be in a communal shower area. The room does have a toilet and sink though.

AAnonymous Userquite dated hotel, a lot of things are quite old/dated/worn, location is ok, <10min walk from station, convenience stores nearby, 10min walk to the ferry and eating places. mostly clean and neat, amenities available. for price, not bad.
walls are quite thin, so you hear next door noises. Shower water temp tends to be slightly not too stable.
no electric outlets near bed, not convenient
