It was very beautiful and the room was large and very comfortable. There is no pass shower in the room, but there is a large communal bath and I was able to enjoy the feeling of a hot spring. The staff was kind and polite. I would like to stay with breakfast next time.

NingmengqingThe must-visit cherry blossom and maple viewing place in Akita must be [Kakunodate]. It is also the hometown of samurai with a long history in Japan and is known as ”Olu's Little Kyoto”. But accommodation here is very expensive, especially during the cherry blossom and maple leaf seasons. It is even harder to find a room. During the maple leaf season, I booked a low-cost accommodation four months in advance (Kakunodate B&B Fengya) for ¥996/2 nights including breakfast. So this is one of the few B&Bs. The Japanese female boss speaks English very well and is very enthusiastic. She personally prepares breakfast with local ingredients. She also serves lunch and afternoon tea, and also sells handmade food. The B&B has free bicycle rentals, so you can easily visit all the samurai houses in Kakunokan. Most of the Japanese locals and foreigners who stay here, as well as *********, can speak English. Old people like us from the mainland who cannot speak Japanese or English are purely isolated cases. The landlady was afraid that we might have some problems, so she specially invited Mr. Ren, a retired (Chinese) teacher from Kakunodate University to come and ask us if we had any problems! The boss lady learned that we had to book a taxi to take us to Kakunodate JR Station at 6:30 tomorrow, but the taxi service at Kakunodate starts at 8 o'clock. The boss lady personally took us to the train station despite her busy schedule. I was really touched! However, the B&B does not have a pick-up station service. When we arrived, we took a taxi to the B&B for 800 yen.

The woman at the inn was blunt, but she was normal, and if the location is gone, you can't find an inexpensive inn.
The difficulty of less 々 was blind.
Please continue to do your best.

Anonymous UserThe hotel/ryokan (really seems like a mix of both) is a good base for exploring the surrounding area. It is very close to the train station, but located in a quiet area. Thus, taking the train to Akita, Kakunodate, Akita-Komagatake or Lake Tazawa, or Yokote is easy (the cheap local train does run quite infrequently though) and the Hanabium in Daisen itself is also interesting.
Your experience in the hotel will depend a bit on your Japanese language proficiency though, as the nice grandmother running the place is great to interact with and accommodating, but can only speak Japanese. The breakfast is prepared freshly for you, so you have to give a breakfast time, but it also meant that it tasted well.
Overall a especially for the price good place to stay at!

This very homestay style accommodation started some 48 years ago by the grandma. Two of her daugthers, Kaori and Katura now runs this cosy place with about 10 rooms. The stars are the two Akita inu, Haru-chan (father), 7 years old. And his daughter, Hana-chan (6 years old). it will take some time to warm up with them, similar to Shiba inu. We got to spend sometime with both of them during our stay, including giving them some treats, watched Haru-chan drinks ice cream with ice (it was a hot day). Chatted with Kaori and grandma to find out more about them. We had dinner and breakfast which was home cooked style. It has been a pleasant stay. Very friendly and down to earth family. This is highly recommended if you are into Akita Inu and enjoy homestay.

Wai-Ling LiThe hotel is a bit dated but clean and the staff are friendly. The hotel offers a complimentary ramen which was a surprise and delicious. The onsen is very nice and located on the 5th floor. One thing to point out is that the hotel does not have noise restriction hours. While I’m not a light sleeper, Japanese walls are thin. My room was on the 5th floor so between traffic to onsen, loud speaking Japanese tourists and children running around, the noise level did not subside until after midnight and started again around 5:30am. Bear in mind, I stayed over a holiday weekend so guests visiting on regular weekends may have a different experience.

Pongneng.tripThe people here are lovely and kind. It's located in Akita City, near the Akita Folk Museum and convenience stores. It took me 30 minutes to walk from Akita train station, almost 2 kilometers. I found a clean room, and the receptionist was helpful, recommending nearby attractions. I experienced the aftermath of an earthquake that affected a neighboring prefecture. The breakfast was excellent, absolutely delicious. Check-out was at 10 am.

On May 15th, I was taken care of by my husband and wife, my sister and daughter, and I couldn't eat it with a modern building, such as dinner kiritanpo and other wild plant tempura, and sashimi. The breakfast and the number of items were large, and I was very satisfied with the female owner's son. At the foot of Mt. Moriyoshi, there was still snow and I couldn't take a walk on the top of the mountain with the gondola that opened from June 10th, but when the mountain opened, I could see the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean 360 and Mt. Moriyoshi, where you can take a walk on alpine plants. In winter, I would like to take a gondola to visit Zao on the ice tree.

Hotels in Tianze Lake Plateau
It takes about half an hour to get there by bus at Tinze Lake Station
Arrive at the ”Upper Plateau Hot Spring Station” and get off the bus and walk for about 4 minutes.
The hotel is in the mountains, all the snow is a lot of secret.
The hotel is the kind of traditional Japanese-style hotel, with dinner and breakfast very rich
The room is tatami, which is what is often seen in the Chinese and Japanese dramas, the atmosphere is very good.
The quilt was already simmered at the beginning of entering the room, very warm
The big bath will have a little sulfur smell as soon as you enter, and I heard that it is effective for skin and muscle soreness
The bath has internal and external soup, the external soup is full of snow, it really feels like winter.
The meal is delicious, the environment is comfortable, the staff is kind, I highly recommend it to everyone
