2-Star Hotels in Lazio, Italy

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The cleanliness was outstanding, and everything was well-maintained throughout our visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making the service truly excellent. The amenities were also excellent and contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only downside was the location, as it was quite far from the city center. Reaching the main attractions required changing buses and metro lines several times, which was inconvenient and time-consuming. It would be very helpful if the property could offer a shuttle service for guests, even as a paid option, to make transportation easier and more convenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this property, especially for couples looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-equipped place to stay. Many thanks to all wonderful staffs

The location is fantastic. It's close to the train station, the Colosseum, and the Trevi Fountain (about 1.5-2 kilometers on foot). There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. However, there's almost never anyone at the reception. The room is basic, and the furniture has seen better days :))) but on the plus side, the bedding is clean, there's a set of towels for each guest, and a mini-fridge in the room.

It was a terrible experience during the check-in process. The hotel has a large number of rooms, but there were only a few staff members available for check-in. Although the official check-in time is 2:00 PM, you may have to wait another 2–3 hours because of the long queue. Other than that, this is a beautiful resort-style hotel. It has a lovely swimming pool, a great kids’ play area, and even a supermarket inside the property. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it easy to get around. You can reach the Vatican in about 30 minutes and Termini Station or the Colosseum in around an hour by public transport.

The room was small but very clean. The handsome guy at the front desk was very attentive and patient, making people feel the warmth and warmth of Italians.

Great location, 12 minutes walk from the colloseum, 8 minutes from Terkini station. There are cafes and small convenience stores around. Great base to discover the city on foot. The accommodation is very clean, room was decent size. Andrea was a great help, thank you. He contact me via WhatsApp in advance, giving me very detailed instructions how to check in, as well as valuable information about the area and ”must-do”s. Thank you once again, great experience.

Excellent location, a 10-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain, and 5 minutes from the Repubblica metro station (providing easy access to other tourist spots). Most importantly, it's less than a 15-minute walk to Termini! Everyone was very polite, and at least in my room, the girls were super nice. I felt very safe in the hostel. It's a great option for solo travelers, I would definitely come back :)

We stayed in a double room, The room's layout was strange, completely different from the photos; the bed was in the centre of the room, there are also a single bed which located next to the desk. The door couldn't be locked inside. We reported this to the front desk, and they said they couldn't do anything about it and that no one would enter our room. However, the bathroom is being tidied every day, which is quite different to what the front desk said. The room wasn't dirty, but the bathroom was quite filthy, with grime and hair.

Fantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer. But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here. What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella. Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc. But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry! Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”.
