It was a great stay here at Hotel Lodi. My partner and I are used to simple and modest places as we've been traveling across Europe so Hotel Lodi was everything we were looking for. The en suite was clean and came with good amenities like soap, body wash, and shampoo. And our room had a TV so we were able to relax and enjoy a show together every night. The Italian guy at the desk was super nice and funny. If you go there with a kind attitude, you'll surely receive the energy back. A few notes, I don't think there's an elevator there so this might not be great for people traveling with a ton of luggage. However my partner and I only had a large backpack each so it was good for us to make it up and down the stairs. Another fun thing to do get around town is the Lime Bikes all around the neighborhood. There were lots around Hotel Lodi it made the slightly inconvenient area of stay way more convenient.
It was a bit old, so I was worried, but
it was perfect in terms of location. It was a great location for a Vatican tour!
I think it would be good if they just paid more attention to cleaning the public bathroom floor~!

Everything was very nice, clean and they were incredibly attentive. They contacted me the day before and guided me to the hotel, taking great care of us. The room was clean and warm, we will come again because it was a short stay. We especially thank Andrea very much.
Broken shower. It’s working but it is sliding down. You can put it steady coz it keeps going down. You have to go down o hold the shower so it can reach your head. Okay for a night stay. There’s a restaurant if you want a quick bite. Good thing is there is a ticket machine for going to the center.

The hotel seemed recently renovated. Its location was very convenient, close to Termini station and within walking distance of the Colosseum. The room and bathroom were clean and larger than we expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the daily €5 charge for the air conditioning, which felt a bit unusual.

The location of the hotel is very good since it is very close to the Termini station. Facilities were okay. Air conditioning was working. The only problem for me was the cleanliness of the room. It was very dusty and there was some leftover thing in the drawer. I can recommend this place for 1 or 2 night stay. If you plan to stay more or will be inside during the day,you can choose another place. Overall, it was good.
With a stay at Plancton II in Rome (Flaminio), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Villa Borghese and Ponte Milvio. This guesthouse is 0.3 mi (0.5 km) from Foro Italico and 2.6 mi (4.2 km) from Piazza Navona.
Featured amenities include laundry facilities and refrigerator in a common area.
Make yourself at home in one of the 2 guestrooms. Prepare your meals in the shared/communal kitchen. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include laptop-compatible safes, and housekeeping is provided daily.
The room was quite clean, and the location was good. However, there's no elevator, and the stairs are narrow and steep. We arrived late at night and had to self-check-in, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with a lot of luggage – it's a real struggle. Other than that one flaw, everything else was great, and the staff were very warm and friendly.
Nice room, still a bit rough around the edges as they are clearly renovating and location is very residential outside the city but for the price it’s worth it! Kitchen was a bit disappointing as no-one had mentioned you have to use your own cutlery/plates etc. and fridge was dirty. Overall a nice place which did the job for a low price, but a few changes in cleaning kitchen and renovation areas would improve it :)
The hotel is 6 stops from San Giovanni Metro Line C, Mirty Station.
The first inconvenience-line C closes at 21:00. Until 23:00 MS subway rarely goes. This is a problem for those who have come to see the evening city. Problem 2 - staff speaks only Italian but tries to help through a Google translator. The problem is 3-disabled light in 9.30 morning, the windows of my room went out on the deaf wall and collected things and left with wet hair was unpleasant. Number 107 is two-bedroom - very small, out of the window smells of sewerage, the window comes out on the wall. Sound isolation is bad. The lingerie is clean, the room is updated, but the plumbing and bath needs repair,. The cleaning was not necessary for 2 nights, the garbage was not removed. The 3 star hotel is not pulled. MMaria MDWe stayed as a family in a premium bungalow, it is very clean and well equipped. Im honestly really impressed how clean it is. All the linen, towels, duvet are spotless. There is a dishwasher, but we didnt have a dishwasher cleaning tablets, so we couldn’t use it. There is a bbq, we didnt use it either.
The pools amenities are fantastic and really clean. There are a few eateries, a shop, a laundry. Our location was far from the pool and playgrounds, the closer units might be challenging to stay in with kids, there is a lot happening and it is loud late in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed it and kids loved it. We didnt need the shuttle bus, so cant comment on it.
The only thing is that after a checkout I entered a shop to buy something and kept my credit card in my pocket, when I wanted to pay at a cashier, my card disappeared. I searched the small shop in case it fell out but no success. So I guess you have to be careful.
GGuest UserThe room was small but very clean. The handsome guy at the front desk was very attentive and patient, making people feel the warmth and warmth of Italians.

IIceice26What's good: I like the atmosphere. They have a big yard and you can enjoy some drinks and music, and maybe chat with other travellers. The management is good, with 24hr safe guard and door card. Location is perfect. It is walking distance to the train station, Travi Fountain and some other must see attractions.
What I don't like: the bed quality is poor and if you're not lucky, someone on the upper bunk will keep rolling around all night, so you can barely sleep thanks to the loose bed structure and loud noise. The locker in the room is also very small and only big enough for backpacks, not mid-size luggage. If you want to leave luggage after checking out, you have to pay. €6 a day.
YYifanThis six-person room was incredibly noisy. Everyone had different schedules, and those who came back late had no regard for those who were already asleep, making all sorts of exaggerated noises as if no one else was there! The neighbors next door were also very loud; someone had their door wide open at 5 AM, packing their bags! Overall, even for an all-female dorm, the bathroom was very dirty; no one cleaned up after themselves. The guests staying here seemed to have low standards.
GGuest UserFantastic stay at Villa Aurora rooms whilst I was in Rome.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. Fully functional air conditioning (rather than those temperamental units in other places) really was a joy to come back to during the heat of a Rome summer.
But so far, I've just commented on some features of the room, rather than my experience here.
What will endure in my memory as I look back was the warm, classically no-nonsense Italian hospitality I had from Donatella.
Throughout my time here, she made sure I was well looked after with room cleaning, bottled water, towels etc.
But I most appreciate her assistance in terms of local knowledge. Local knowledge such as a good seafood restaurant , ”Trattoria del pesce” just down the road (which happens to also be in the Michelin guide); such as to not miss out on the Baths of Caracalla; and perhaps more trivially, but arguably also essential, where to do my laundry!
Thank you so much for making my stay here such a pleasure Donatella, and for adding both a new Italian word and outlook to my vocabulary - ”tranquilo”.
AAnonymous UserIt is more or less 20mins on foot from Termini station. The bunk bed has no stairs to go to top bed. There is no socket plug in each bed. In the room only one has a socket plug near their bed. You have to pay when you leave your luggage after check out. No towel, shower gel provided. They should add more toilets and shower.
NNatthenutterThis hotels location is great. It's near to everything.
I walked to the main tourist attractions.
The hotel room was great. I was expecting a single room, but I got a double, always a bonus.
The room is a little dated, but I quite liked that. It took me back to when I was a child going down the working man's club with my parents 🤣 keeping it retro , love it!
The room had everything I needed. It was clean and light (even had shutters and blacked out curtains, which made the room dark).
The staff were helpful & polite, which is all I ask for.
The only negatives were the tram line (which could be quite loud and rumble at times) & the hotel tax; they wanted it in cash/euros I didn't have any euros as I didn't think I'd need them, thinking I could pay with everything by card.
Other than that, a great stay in Rome.
