Comfortable and had everything you would need. Close enough to the central station but not to any of the major attractions. Easy bus or subway ride though. Mediocre restaurants nearby and did not feel like the best neighborhood.

I loved the common areas they have for travellers to relax. Not to mention the fully equipped kitchen and also the occasional free dinner prepared by the staff. Rooms were spacious and adopted the capsule/nest style where you can have ultimate privacy at night. Lockers were big enough to fit my 40L bag and no additional locks needed for the locker. Although the beds are encapsulated, however it is not hot or stuffy at night as I still felt cold from the AC. Ensuite bathroom is decent and clean for everyone’s use.

We stayed in a double room, The room's layout was strange, completely different from the photos; the bed was in the centre of the room, there are also a single bed which located next to the desk. The door couldn't be locked inside. We reported this to the front desk, and they said they couldn't do anything about it and that no one would enter our room. However, the bathroom is being tidied every day, which is quite different to what the front desk said. The room wasn't dirty, but the bathroom was quite filthy, with grime and hair.

I had a really pleasant stay at Free Hostels Roma. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The service was smooth and well-organized, and everything felt comfortable and welcoming. Overall, it was a great place to stay, especially for travelers looking for a friendly atmosphere and good service. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.
