2-Star Hotels in Yunnan, China

The owner was very welcoming; people from Northeast China are known for their straightforwardness. I stayed for three nights. Transportation was extremely convenient; electric bicycles and shuttle buses to the scenic area were right outside. I would definitely stay here again next time. The only downside was that the rooms were a little small, but the private balcony was a nice touch. I heard the owner renovated after May Day, so it will definitely be even better then.

Great location close to many amenities !! No issue with WiFi working greatly, been watching films every night !!! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful , stayed for few weeks, never had any issues !! Walking distance to various shopping malls and night markets !! Fruit market and vegetable markets very close by !!! Very convenient transport links, buses, tube taxis, rent electric bikes/scooters, etc…! About 10 minutes, walk to the great gym with a swimming pool !!! Many Great Dental Hospitals, fixed my teeth while staying, managed to install crowns !!! Also, if have time can have a good quality implants !! Very close to Kunming Zoo, other parks a temples…!

The breakfast with minced pork rice noodles was delicious! The owner, a retired serviceman, was incredibly kind and provided excellent service. The room had a beautiful view, facing Cangshan Mountain and backing onto Erhai Lake, and it was very spacious. Great value for money! The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't great; even with the windows closed during the day, you can still hear the music from Sanyue Street. Also, the walk from the guesthouse to the main road is a few hundred meters down a very dark alley, which can be a bit spooky at night if you're alone.

Forgot to take pictures, but it was just as good as described in the photos. There were four of us and three beds, so we had plenty of space and slept very comfortably. The hygiene was good, and the separate laundry room meant we didn't have to wait long to do our washing. Right outside, there are two shopping malls, and the subway station isn't far, located within one of the malls. As soon as you step out, you're surrounded by a concentrated area of food and entertainment, which is very convenient. Highly recommended!

I specifically booked this hotel for my trip to Songzanlin Monastery, as it offered the best value for money within the scenic area, and my stay was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, extremely close to the monastery, making getting around super convenient. It only takes a few minutes to reach the observation deck! Plus, from the windows of the hotel's lounge area, you can look down onto Naizi River Park! The hotel itself is quiet and the entire place is impeccably clean. Most importantly, the front desk lady was incredibly kind and patiently answered all my questions. Breakfast was also included, making it fantastic value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time! ~(≧▽≦)/~

My friend highly recommended this place, saying the area is fantastic and super convenient, and the shuttle service was a huge plus. The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

We stayed in Yubeng during a week when access to the village was closed, and we were the only guests at the hotel. It’s located near the trailhead to Ice Lake and not too far from Lower Yubeng and the Sacred Waterfall (the return hike is steep, but anyone coming to this place should be prepared for long and demanding walks!). There was no room service during our stay (like trash collection), but the hosts were friendly, and the food at the restaurant was very tasty and fairly priced — especially considering the logistical challenges of stocking the kitchen. The room is simple but comfortable. The towels are disposable, which is a bit strange at first, but you get used to it (they actually dry you well). The view from the hotel balcony is unbelievable — definitely worth paying extra for a room with a view. We would happily stay there again.

This time I stayed at the June Inn in Dali, and I found the owners, a husband and wife, to be very warm and genuine. The owners are from Northeast China, so they're very straightforward and easy to talk to. They made us feel very comfortable, without that overly commercial or formal vibe. There was a small hiccup during check-in. The driver didn't drop us off at the agreed-upon location, and we had to walk for about 3 minutes to reach the inn. Since we had arranged to be dropped off at a specific spot, I personally wasn't too happy with that arrangement. Unexpectedly, when the owner found out, he immediately came out to Bo'ai Gate to wait for us and personally guided us to the inn. This gesture really impressed me ❤️ Later, chatting with the owners was also very pleasant. They both felt very authentic and enthusiastic, giving us the feeling of having made local friends in Dali. The inn's location is also great; it's very convenient to get to the South Gate area of Dali Old Town. Thank you to the owners for taking care of us these past few days! This trip to Dali left me with wonderful memories. I hope to have the chance to stay here again next time I visit Dali. 🌿❤️

The room was spotless. Everything felt new, and the decor was lovely. Although the space was a bit small, it didn't really affect usability. The smart home features throughout were a nice touch, making it incredible value for the price. What really stood out was the bedding – exactly to my liking. The pillow was just the right height and firmness, and the duvet was incredibly smooth and soft; it's rare to find such comfortable bedding in a hotel. Airport shuttle: Since it's a shared shuttle service for multiple hotels, the waiting time was a bit long.

The hotel is newly renovated, the room is very comfortable, there is a snack street downstairs, it is convenient, the hotel service is very good, and it is also very close to the high-speed rail. Relatively speaking, it is comfortable to stay and the experience is good. You can choose this hotel if you are transiting nearby!
