It’s literally a 10-15minutes walk from the North Square, making it ideal for early morning departures or late-night arrivals. Despite being near the station, the surrounding area feels safe and has plenty of small restaurants, convenience stores, and street food stalls. Rooms are compact but well laid out. The bed is comfortable with decent pillows. Amenities include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and basic toiletries. Minor drawback: Soundproofing is average; you may hear hallway noise or neighbors. Light sleepers should bring earplugs. The front desk staff deserve praise for being warm, efficient, and English-friendly (via translation apps). They offered a late check-out without asking. Luggage storage is available and hassle-free. 🍽️ Breakfast (N/A) The hotel does not serve breakfast, but this is clearly stated at booking. There are several noodle shops and bakeries within a 2-minute walk – try the guoqiao mixian (cross-bridge rice noodles) just around the corner. ⚠️ A Note for Light Sleepers The motion-sensor hallway lights can be bright and occasionally trigger through the door gap. Also, some rooms have sensor-controlled bathroom lights that turn off automatically – a minor quirk but worth knowing. Only had one day in Kunming, so I chose the convenient Nanping Street. It's right above a shopping street and within walking distance to the old town. The room had a slight odor, and I wasn't sure if it was from the bathroom, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. The price was reasonable, and my family found it comfortable. The staff were very friendly and even checked us in smoothly in the early hours of the morning. Thank you!

This hostel is amazing ! Everything is perfectly clean, at the reception they speak perfect English and can give you indications on what to do and directions. The hostel is really nice, you have a rooftop where you can enjoy some time outside. There is a place to do laundry and they provide laundry detergent for free, you even have a place to hang your clothes to let them dry. There is a small restaurant where you can have yunnan specialities as well as some european dish (pasta, burger). I had a really good stay and will definitely comeback next time I am in Kunming.

Facilities: Excellent. It has everything you need: an automatic toilet, hairdryer, and kettle. The bathroom is also separated into wet and dry areas, which is very convenient. Cleanliness: Very clean. The cleaning staff comes every day and has a great attitude. Environment: The surroundings are very quiet, not noisy at all, and the transportation is very convenient. It's right by the road, so you don't have to drag your luggage around. Service: The front desk staff has a great attitude and proactively helped carry my luggage upstairs.

Location is very good just a bit walk to Xishuanbanna temple and night market . The hotel price is very cheap comparing with their amenities . Accessing to hotel is easy just 10 meters from the main road with elevator to their floor . Recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Jinghong

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, located just across the road from Erhai Lake. From the comfort of your bed or while enjoying tea by the window, you can admire the stunning views of the lake. The room is incredibly spacious at 38 square meters and fully equipped. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. The service is top-notch; they proactively help guests with their luggage and even assist with shipping. I brought my dog with me, and they are incredibly pet-friendly, charging no cleaning fees or deposits.

We stayed here based on a recommendation of a French couple we met during our trip. And we’re glad we did! The host is so friendly, he made us feel very welcome. We loved his tea ceremony! The room and location were great as well. His son was very helpful and friendly when we needed transport to the busstation.

The hotel environment is superb, the room has a good view, clean and warm. The service is warm and intimate, and the surrounding attractions and dining are very convenient. The sound insulation effect is good and the rest is very good at night. The overall experience exceeded expectations, cost-effective, first choice for travel!

The hotel is really cozy and spacious! The room was super clean, and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was so comfortable! At 190cm, it's rare for me to find a bed long enough, but this one was perfect. The owner is from Northeast China and is very hospitable! They told me all the best places to eat and what to do, and even gave me some delicious flower cakes. It's only a few hundred meters from the Old Town. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Lijiang Old Town!

The hotel was nice and clean, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. The location is good - only a 10-15 minute walk to Lijiang Ancient City （丽江古城南门 或者 中医市场） and a 5 min walk to Lijiang Bus Station (丽江客运站）。 They have a free water station where you can fill up your water bottle, and if you need to store your luggage after you check out, you can store it there for free. There are lots of free oxygen canisters from previous guests who bought them and did not use them, so if you're going to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 玉龙雪山 you don't need to buy one. The only downside was that the walls were very thin, so the sound of other guests opening/closing their doors was quite loud, and I heard some construction going on. Bring earplugs.
