We came to Longyan from Chaoshan to see the Tulou, and chose this hotel on Ctrip. In my daughter's words, it was a big surprise! Location is right next to a Tulou. but it is not the Tulou with the tour. Attended the dinner shoe next door using the discount coupon. It is probably one of the lamest show I have seen in China. Very loud and piercing compère. Don’t waste your money on the show. The free guided tour is only for 王子土楼. The free guided tour is good. You may need your own transport there. You still need to pay for your tickets into the 土楼。 the guide’s relatives live there. Basically she will bring you to her house or cousin’s house for tea. And the tea is expensive. You get the drift.

The wisest decision I made on this trip to Changting was choosing the Song Ci Hangzhan Hotel! As a four-star hotel, it perfectly blends historical charm, a superb location, and modern comfort, making for a fantastic stay. A hotel in the heart of the ancient city! The windows offer views of the Tingjiang River, and it's super convenient to walk to Jichuan Gate and Shuidong Street. The modern Chinese-style rooms are clean and smartly equipped, the bedding is so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed, and the front desk even provided helpful travel tips. Parking is reimbursed for those driving, making it incredibly cost-effective. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changting!

All aspects of the hotel are more general, walking ten minutes from the four corners of the well, eating is more convenient, to be honest, the holiday is basically similar to the home-like grade in the InterContinental, but the price is a lot more expensive, the price is very low. A strategically located hotel which is within walking distance of distance to many interesting places. Food is easily accessible and yummy. Night scenery is great with multi coloured lighting. Nice to walk around and enjoyed watching people dancing in the open spaces. Local herbs are also available if u are interested in local Chinese herbs for brewing tea and herbal soups. During the day it is nice to walk around early in the nearby walking streets where u can find interesting architecture of the olden days. Well kept but can do with more explanation about the history and info about the local culture and customs. Great place for taking instagram photos.

We ate almost all our meals at the hotel, which saved us the hassle of looking for restaurants outside. The breakfast buffet was nutritious and filling, and the Chinese restaurant served authentic home-style dishes made with fresh ingredients. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. Whether it was for a quick bite or a proper meal, all our needs were met. Having food and accommodation in one place was incredibly convenient.
