The hostel is close to the train station, but not close enough to walk. And it’s a bit far from the city centre so I had to take a didi every time i go out. Staff are nice, the common space are nice too. You will have to make your own bed and take out the linens when checking out.
Toilets are okay. There was someone in my room who stay long term, so there are a lot of daily stuff all over the dormitory. But I just stayed one night so that’s okay.

The hotel lobby is modern in design, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the floor-to-ceiling windows have a great view, especially the night view.
The bathroom and bedding are spotless, and the aunt cleans carefully every day, even the corners are very clean.
The front desk lady has a very good attitude and also recommends nearby food and tour routes.
The WiFi speed is fast, suitable for business and leisure travelers.
The triple room I stayed in this time exceeded expectations! The room is spacious and bright, the spacing of the three beds is very reasonable, it does not feel crowded at all, and friends in the same group praise the high space utilization rate. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, sleeps very soundly all night, and the facilities in the room are complete and clean, and even the details are well taken care of. The service is also very intimate, there is a need to respond quickly, the next trip for three people will choose here, it must be five stars!

Compact, but very comfortable and modern room. Plenty of food options around and the classy Wanda Plaza mall just across the road. Very helpful front desk staff. Some foreign travellers might find it a little hard to find because there are quite a few small hotels in the same tall building- it's just a matter of walking around the building to find the entrance (in Chinese above the doorway).

Extremely well located, and great value for money. Happy staff who are very welcoming, and the room had everything it needed.
My only concern was some extremely noisy guests in another room, which continued from midnight until 6am on one of the nights. Admittedly, I did not raise this to the staff as it felt too late to do so, so I cannot comment on how well it would've been handled. I'm sure they would have helped to stop it. It does mean that the soundproofing isn't totally perfect, but everything else was very good.
Enjoyed my stay, will return if I come back to Kashgar.

It was our first night in china and I immediately fell in love with the host and the location. The atmosphere is amazing, the spirits are near and you accepted as a part of the group the moment you step into it. The host showed us the greatest noodle palace I have ever seen and it’s around the corner. There is an intense party district within 15 minutes of walking. All your wishes will come true in Kailash! Would book again and already thinking about returning in the future. 10/10 would highly recommend.

We stayed as a family of 5, the room was with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, kitchen and bathroom. Very spacious and convenient option. Every day the room was cleaned once we are out in the morning. Supplies and amenities were replaced or added. Reception girls were very helpful. The owner is a kind lady. The window view is charming, mountains view in a day time, city lights at night. Downstairs are a few shops and a cafe with delicious baozi&jiaozi. I would definitely return to this place again 👍🏻
The rooms (actually a 6-person room) and common areas were quite spacious. There was a TV in the lobby, as well as snacks like sunflower seeds and instant noodles/drinks for sale, which was very convenient as you didn't have to go out to buy anything. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was a bit small, and because I was worried about altitude sickness, I didn't shower or use it for either of my two nights. A 3-day, 2-night trip to the Pamir Plateau would allow ample time to acclimatize, and the itinerary was quite relaxed. I definitely want to visit sometime!
Great hostel to stay at for a short trip to Kashgar! It’s close enough to the Ancient City (about a half hour walk) and easy to get to both the railway station and airport by bus. The amenities here are great with good lounge areas, free laundry, place to hang laundry, and a kitchen! The bathroom situation isn’t great thought because the shower is right over a squat toilet. Also this isn’t the cleanest tidiest hostel with rubbish overflowing and and luggage strewn around the reception area. It’s not a big issue but be aware the hostel is definitely not as nice as the photos!
The first room occasionally had a very strong sewage smell in the bathroom which rendered it unusable. Oddly, it wasn't there when we entered the room, but it started in the middle of the night. The next morning we learnt that there are other rooms with that problem. The second room had a non-functioning air conditioning unit, and it was terribly hot the whole night.
I strongly recommend the hotel to fix those issues.
Staff were very nice, really nice, trying to help. But they couldn't change rooms overnight because the hotel was full

GGuest UserGood reviews! The location of the hotel is amazing. You can see the magnificent Pamir Plateau scenery of Tashkurgan County as soon as you go out. In the morning, when you open the window, the sun shines on the top of the continuous snow-capped mountains. The picture is so beautiful that it is suffocating. Here, you can enjoy the unique natural scenery of Tashkurgan County while lying in bed. This experience is great!
GGenzhuozhouxiaodaoyiqiqulvxingIt was a very comfortable stay and offered excellent value for money. I've been here for quite a few days now, and it's definitely suitable for long-term stays. The location is great, right in the city center, with a very lively and vibrant surrounding area. The public areas are also quite spacious. Facilities: The equipment feels very new, which makes sense as the place hasn't been open for long. Cleanliness: Unfortunately, the bathroom had a very strong odor.
GGuest UserI stayed one night at Yunbo Youth Hotel. Overall, the experience was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
The cleanliness was average. It could have been a bit better. However, the staff and especially the manager were super friendly and helpful. The manager even helped me figure out a connection to Almaty, which I really appreciated! A nice bonus: they let me check in a bit earlier than usual, which was very kind and convenient after a long journey.
I was hoping for a bit more of an international atmosphere, but most of the guests were local and aside from the manager, no one really spoke English, which made communication a bit frustrating at times.
The location is great – very close to Ürümqi Railway Station, which is perfect if you’re continuing your journey by train. That said, the surrounding area doesn’t offer much in terms of shops or food options. The hotel was also a bit hard to find, but luckily there is a detailed description in the booking info, which helps.
In terms of value for money, I found it a little overpriced for what you get.
Overall: Very friendly staff, good location near the station, but average cleanliness and limited international vibe.
GGuest UserHostel is about 5 - 7 minutes away from the ”Sports Centre” metro station, which is about 25+ minutes from the airport.
The hostel entrance is next to the Tesla shop, and you have to press the buzzer, for the security guard to open the gate for you.
Then, after writing your name down in the guest-book, you go up to the 10th floor in the lift.
(Check the other reviews here, for a picture of the gate/door to the building)
The staff speak little to no English, but they are very helpful.
They will try to solve your issues, as long as you patient with the translation software.
Also, it is difficult for staff to check you in, if you do not have a contact number or Alipay/Wechat contact.
(This is a CN Govt requirement)
The dorm rooms are basic and you may get the city views.
There are no privacy curtains and there was no air-con, in my one.
The hostel staff can provide fans, but we did not need any, as it was still cool at night.
The beds are OK.
There is a bathroom in the dorm room too, but there was almost no privacy for the bathroom, as there was a gap between the door for others to see and you can see through the frosted glass into the bathroom too!
The hostel is relatively clean, quiet and well-located,
except there may be other local guests, who are loud and smoke sometimes in the other rooms.
Next to the hostel is a nice up-market shopping centre and with really lots to eat, in the food-court on the 3rd floor.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We left something behind and they kept it for us and called us back. Thank you so much! The room was clean, the environment was nice, and the facilities were complete. I'm looking forward to staying here next time!
PPupuzhangThe owner was incredibly kind, almost to the point of being embarrassing. They helped us store our luggage in advance and even carried our suitcases upstairs during check-in. When we came back in the middle of the night, they even let us use a different room to shower, and they didn't treat us any differently just because we booked a special offer room. Their hospitality really made me feel much more positive about this city.
The inn is conveniently located not far from the entrance of Liuxing Street and also close to the bus station, making it very easy for transportation and transfers. This was especially convenient after a long day of sightseeing; being able to walk straight upstairs after strolling down Liuxing Street, even past midnight, was a huge plus.
The hallway and room have a nostalgic feel, reminding me of guesthouses from my childhood. The air conditioning and walls, however, are very new.
I could tell they take hygiene seriously from the bathroom; the cleaning supplies were very comprehensive.
AAnonymous UserThe boss is super good. We upgraded the room type for free. The heating is also very sufficient. There is a parking lot in the backyard. The room is fully equipped and there is a massage chair. It is recommended that self-driving tourists come to massage and relax. The scenery outside the house is also very beautiful. The morning sun feels just like it can shine into the house.
FFreddy LubinThis was a wonderful stay, from beginning to end.
The welcome we received at the desk made us feel at home, and the women there did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, and to help us with the small problems we had with our trip. I can't say enough about the staff.
The room was great, and the breakfast had all we could want, including some options for western tastes.
The location is great, 15 minutes from the six star area, and street food everywhere we look.
We were also allowed an extra two hours to wait for our flight.
All in all a great choice.
Thank you again to the staff.
HHuxiaocongcongcongIt's quite nice. The scenery is also very good. You can drive directly to the door. Don't be scared by the slope of the road at the door. It's very close to the entrance of the ancient trail. I arrived at about 9:30 in the evening and was able to eat hot meals.
