Our family of four, the older child is already an adult, so we need 2 rooms. During the Spring Festival, their price is still very reasonable. The store gave a washing machine, a room without a washing machine, all told by WeChat in advance. During the Spring Festival, all the gourmet shops downstairs are open, and there is no need to take a taxi to eat. This location is convenient to Hongzui Cruise or Old Street. Go to Zhanjiang The North Station also takes 19 minutes. Special thanks, we left in the morning to catch the high-speed rail. The child's headset fell in the room, and the store quickly found it for us and helped me express it home. Traveling to Zhanjiang in winter is a good place!

The hotel rooms are clean and well-equipped; my room even had a projector! There are also small balconies with a table—perfect for chatting in the morning or evening. By the way, the view is quite nice for a hotel located on the upper floors; they’ve set up a small park on the 18th floor, which looks lovely. Another plus is the toilet—unusual for China—featuring a heated seat and even a bidet! I tried it for the first time ever, and it was great. Also, there are no key cards for room access; everything works via a PIN code provided through WeChat (along with the Wi-Fi details). I’m not sure if that’s a pro or a con, but it’s something to keep in mind. As for the downsides: there are no complimentary water bottles to drink or take with you on the go. However, there is a kitchen (not in every room) with a tap featuring a built-in water filter—which is also a rarity. The hotel’s location is a bit tricky, though they have tried to put up signs. If you’re arriving by metro, finding the right elevator in the tunnels takes some effort—it’s easy to get confused and lose your way.

I highly recommend Shenzhen Youlin Youth Hostel! It's perfect for solo male travelers coming to Shenzhen for job hunting or a short trip. The location is very close to the subway, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The community has strict security, and access is via a password lock, so you feel safe returning at night. The entire place is thoroughly cleaned, the bathroom has no odors, and the bedding is changed promptly, keeping the beds clean and fresh. Each bed has a blackout curtain, an independent power outlet, and a lockable cabinet, so you can draw the curtain for a private space and won't be disturbed. The common areas are equipped with a washing machine, hot water, tables, and chairs, making it easy for simple cooking or working. The owner is genuinely helpful and responds quickly to requests, even sharing tips on nearby commutes and good places to eat. Most of the other guests are quiet and reliable young people whose routines don't interfere with each other. The value for money is excellent, making it a top choice for short-term stays. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shenzhen!

I slept pretty well, and the free parking was a plus. There are many places to explore nearby, though you'll need to walk about 1 km. Overall, it was good. I didn't book breakfast and instead went to Guangzhou Restaurant nearby, which was quite nice. Having a table made ordering takeout very convenient.

Super convenient for exploring the city 🚇 🏢 Room: Stayed on the 36th floor (highest level) – the view was absolutely stunning! 🌃 Room looks modern and very clean. 🧺 Amenities: Loved the mini fridge, washing machine AND dryer in-room 🧼👕 – so practical for longer stays! 🪳 One downside: Unfortunately spotted a cockroach during my stay, which was disappointing. But it was taken care of by the cleaner. Otherwise, this would easily be a 10/10! Overall: Great value, amazing view & facilities – just hope the hygiene issue gets addressed. Would still recommend with a small caution. ✨

The bus station nearby provides additional connectivity options, and the area is surrounded by a vibrant mix of modern amenities and authentic local culture. We loved having a mall within easy reach for any shopping needs or casual dining, but the real highlight was discovering the incredible local cuisines just steps away from the hotel. From street food stalls to charming family-run restaurants, we enjoyed exploring the diverse flavors and dishes that gave us a true taste of the local culinary scene. The combination of boutique charm, excellent service, unbeatable location, and rich neighborhood experiences made this stay truly memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for convenience without sacrificing local character!

This guesthouse exceeded our expectations. The layout is spacious and open, perfect for friends or families traveling together. The entire place was spotless, and all bedding and toiletries were provided. Having two bathrooms was a huge plus, no waiting in line! The host was very responsive, provided clear check-in instructions, and communication was smooth when we had questions. The neighborhood is quiet, and it's convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around. The comfort level was high, and it offered great value for money. We'd definitely prioritize staying here again on our next visit.

Very dirty place. The common area for the ladies was full of trash, tables dirty and the bathroom dirty. The beds were hard, matresses very thin and for a tall person above 1.72m it is not advisable. They also have shelves at the head of the beds so if you are talles you will slam your head in those. The balcony was full of dirt and people's clothes. It was very hard to find and the front gate was locked and had to spend good amount of time with the security guards until they understood that I have a reservation. Basically these are big apartment buildings so some rooms will be in complex B, others complex C. The receptionist were kind but very disorganized. People in the common area were super unfriendly and actually rude. All in all, I don't recommend this place.

Last year, when I started my new job in Guangdong, my family and I took a detour to Guangzhou. My father booked this hotel, and I remember the service being quite good. This year, I came to Guangzhou alone for a concert and booked this hotel again. It's been renovated a lot, both inside and out. Check-in was much faster than at the B&Bs I used to stay at; they proactively communicated with me to check in as soon as a clean room was available. The room was also completely renovated with no strange odors. When I checked in, both the front desk staff and the cleaning auntie reminded me that the floor had just been mopped and to be careful not to slip, which I really appreciated from the hotel staff. The hotel is also close to Beijing Road subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. If I have the chance to come to Guangzhou again, I'll definitely stay here! 😋👍
