This B&B positions itself as a boutique hotel, not just a regular guesthouse. Many guests here are international tourists and discerning travelers who appreciate quality. However, because it's so close to the scenic area, it's located in a restricted zone. ⚠️ You MUST use Didi (ride-hailing app) to get directly to the B&B's doorstep. Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. The service was excellent. Before we even checked in, the hotel created a service group chat and contacted us daily to arrange room cleaning and afternoon tea. The mini-bar was also restocked with drinks and jellies that the kids loved. The environment is wonderful, full of historical charm everywhere you look. The rooms, after renovation, are very comfortable. Right outside, there's a bustling night market, but the hotel's location is perfect – a quiet oasis in the midst of the lively area, so our room was very peaceful for resting. Breakfast is a semi-buffet with a set menu plus self-service options. The kids really enjoyed the pan-fried beef short ribs, and the adults can choose the very flavorful dry-mixed rice noodles.

This hotel truly impressed us in every way. The service alone deserves 5+ stars. Miss Wendy (who is the front desk manager and looks like the only one who spoke English) was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and incredibly proactive. Wendy anticipated our needs, provided helpful local recommendations, allowed us to choose the room we preferred, and even helped us to select tickets to the national park without any hassle. The room had a fantastic view of the mountains, which made the stay feel very special. Breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10—with a wide selection and a beautiful view from the restaurant. The location is also a major plus: very close to the train station and extremely convenient for both the airport and train stations. As an added bonus, there is restaurants nearby, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere in the evenings. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. Because of the Wendy we extended our trip in this hotel for another week.

On a whim, I came to Changsha and chose the top-ranked hotel on Trip.com. The service was absolutely fantastic, I really don't understand how anyone could write a negative review. The staff were so warm and attentive. The breakfast and supper options were incredibly fresh, you can tell they put a lot of thought into it. We stayed for two nights and got to enjoy different dishes each day, which was a real treat. With two kids, we spent almost all our time at the hotel. Changsha was just too hot, so we could only go out in the evenings. Coming back to the hotel for supper after exploring was great, and it was really good value for money – they even prepared three servings for both breakfast and supper for us! Suggestion: The owner should consider getting a shuttle bus. There's a bit of a distance between the metro station and the hotel, which would also make it easier for the concierge to help with luggage.

A very unique and memorable stay in Zhangjiajie! We stayed 2 nights in the Morning Glow King Suite Bedroom. The highlight of this homestay is its cave concept. The reception area is huge, impressive, and beautifully designed, creating a real wow factor upon arrival. The property also features a cave restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be arranged with advance booking. There is also a cosy cave lounge for guests to relax. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. The facilities were well maintained and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Location is excellent. The homestay is hidden behind the famous theatre performance venue but only a short walk to the main street, making it convenient while remaining quiet. Highly recommended for travellers looking for a unique accommodation experience in Zhangjiajie. The cave setting alone makes it worth staying here.

Our family of three recently visited Zhangjiajie and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Wulingyuan for 4 nights. Overall, the experience was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel's public areas are grand and bright, and the room view was a major highlight – looking directly out onto the quartz sandstone peaks was absolutely stunning. The bedding and bathroom facilities were good, and the complimentary laundry service (wash and dry) was incredibly convenient for families. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. Our child especially loved the osmanthus cake and handmade steamed buns, though it was a pity they were only available on Mondays and Tuesdays. Special mention goes to the butler service, which was commendable. They provided practical travel advice, such as park entry routes and optimal sightseeing times. Their service was meticulous and attentive, yet also perfectly discreet, never intruding on guests. This is truly one of the best hotels in Wulingyuan in terms of overall quality, highly recommended for families. A small suggestion for improvement: the tissue box at the guest room's washbasin was empty for three consecutive days and was only refilled after contacting the front desk. I hope they can strengthen their daily room inspections.

This guesthouse boasts absolutely stunning views and a beautiful, serene, and comfortable environment – truly on par with high-end luxury lodges abroad, but without the exorbitant price tag. The restaurant is also fantastic; I ate there for three days straight because the food was so good I didn't want to eat anywhere else. What really sets them apart, though, is their service. It's not the rigid, formal service you find at a five-star hotel; instead, it's incredibly thoughtful and attentive, always putting the guest's needs first. For example, if we ordered too much food, the restaurant would even proactively help us figure out how to save it for our next meal. Every other service detail was just as impressive – any request was met with a helpful response. It was such a comfortable and personalized experience. Getting to the West Gate of the Forest Park from here is also very convenient, as the guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services. They also provide incredibly detailed and professional advice based on your itinerary, making it completely stress-free for first-time visitors. I will definitely be back!

We took the kids for a weekend getaway, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations! The hotel is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by lush greenery and lawns, offering fresh air, peace, and quiet. The natural scenery is incredibly healing. I particularly want to praise the cleanliness; the bedding was dry with a faint, pleasant scent, so I felt completely at ease letting my child play barefoot. The breakfast spread was extensive, with Chinese pastries, Western desserts, and fresh fruit all available. Staff were constantly wiping and cleaning the dining area, so the tables were always spotless. Housekeeping tidied our room promptly every day, and the park pathways were regularly cleaned. The environment is so clean and comfortable – it's definitely my top choice for a family vacation with kids!

From the moment I arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A special shout-out to the team: when I had trouble placing a food delivery order with my Alipay account, one of the staff members even paid for it upfront on my behalf.
