Great service from the hotel staff, especially Qing Qing. She was very welcoming and helped us purchase tickets for the Tuo River tour. She also assisted us in getting a taxi to a Muslim-friendly restaurant located about 2km from the hotel. We even received a complimentary gift during check-out, which was a lovely touch
.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the view from our room window was beautiful.
The hotel also provides complimentary shuttle rides to the Fenghuang entrance several times a day, which was very convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The Grand Hyatt Changsha boasts an absolutely unbeatable location, nestled within a landmark high-rise on Xiangjiang Middle Road. Right downstairs, you'll find Hisense Plaza and Super Wenheyou, and it's just a short walk to Pozi Street, Taiping Old Street, and Huangxing Pedestrian Street. All sorts of Changsha's specialty foods and trendy spots are right outside your door, and the subway is practically at your doorstep, making exploring and dining incredibly convenient.
The guest rooms are situated on the 46th floor and higher, offering panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that directly face the Xiangjiang River and Orange Isle. The entire cityscape, with its mountains, rivers, and islands, is laid out before you. In the morning, you can watch the river mist, at dusk, chase the sunset painting the water, and at night, admire the myriad lights along both banks. If you're lucky enough to catch the Orange Isle fireworks, you'll have an exclusive, unparalleled viewing spot right from your room – perfect for stunning photos!
The front desk staff are incredibly attentive and professional. They patiently answered all my questions without any perfunctory responses, and their service was warm yet discreet, never intruding on my personal space. The entire check-in to check-out process was smooth and comfortable. Their comprehensive, thoughtful service significantly enhanced my trip to Changsha. Check-out was also quick and seamless, with simple and pleasant communication throughout. The service was enthusiastic but not overbearing, showing excellent discretion. The professional service from the front desk alone is enough to warrant a full five-star rating. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is in a great location, about a ten-minute walk from the Tianmen Mountain cable car station, making it super convenient to get to and from the scenic area. The facilities are comprehensive, and the buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. There's even a laundry room! Our room was clean and tidy. If you're visiting Tianmen Mountain, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel's overall design is both spectacular and thoughtfully decorated, creating a very cozy atmosphere. The rooms have ceiling heights exceeding 3 meters and are incredibly spacious. The bathroom, shower, bathtub, and sink are all independently separated, and the facilities are modern. The hotel staff are very patient, professional, and attentive to guests. A special thanks to Mandy Liu for patiently coordinating the venue, allowing us to celebrate a travel companion's birthday in a foreign country! This experience left a deep impression not just of the hotel, but of China as well! We've decided to change our travel plans this year to visit China again! Thank you to all the hotel staff, especially Mandy Liu, for your dedication and help!

Facilities: The hotel has been open for some years, so the facilities aren't super new, but the room was quite spacious and had pretty much everything you'd need. There's no minibar in the room. The swimming pool is open from 3 PM to just past 9 PM. The hotel is surrounded by schools, so there are plenty of small eateries and restaurants nearby. The soundproofing in the rooms could use some improvement...
Cleanliness: Clean.
Environment: The hotel is quite close to the highway exit, which is convenient.
Service: The bellboy in the lobby was very polite. When we were leaving, he proactively and warmly greeted us, helped with our luggage, and even brought it to the car. I forgot his name, I don't think I saw a name tag on his uniform. The hotel breakfast was all very clean, and the variety was quite rich.
I always trust the InterContinental brand, and this time I chose their star room type, the Executive Deluxe Balcony Room. The river view was superb, and having direct access to the Beichenhui Shopping Mall right next to the breakfast restaurant was incredibly convenient. The front desk and concierge team were consistently warm and professional. Serein was quick to respond to my needs, provided detailed information about the lounge's operating hours, and arranged amenities for my children. The entire check-in process was very smooth. The deposit was also refunded promptly! Judy was also very helpful, carefully asking about my stay experience, and check-out was efficient.

My stay here was absolutely delightful, and the guest service truly stood out. Mia, a staff member, was incredibly warm and polite throughout, treating everyone with genuine kindness. Check-in was efficient and thoughtful, and she was always patient in answering any questions I had, responding very promptly. The room itself was spotless and bright, fully equipped, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The overall environment was quiet and pleasant. Mia's attention to detail was evident everywhere; you could really feel that the staff were thinking from the guests' perspective, providing thorough and personalized service. It's perfect for either a short stopover or a longer stay. My overall experience far exceeded my expectations. The combination of warm service and a comfortable environment made me feel completely at ease. I highly recommend this hotel; I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in the area and will be recommending it to my friends.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! They upgraded my room and even granted a late checkout, making the whole experience incredibly pleasant.
This truly lives up to its reputation as the benchmark for high-end luxury hotels in Hengyang!
Staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Hengyang, I was completely immersed in the top-tier quality of the Marriott brand. A discreet yet luxurious ambiance pervades the entire hotel. The double-height lobby design is incredibly grand, with marble textures complementing elegant geometric chandeliers, creating a sophisticated play of light and shadow. The understated yet lavish decor truly showcases its high-end foundation, and the atmosphere is just incredible.
But the highlight was definitely the luxurious experience in the guest room. The modern Nordic-inspired color palette was incredibly stylish, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive, clear views, perfect for admiring the city's stunning nightscape.
The room features smart home devices, high-end bathroom fixtures, and exclusive branded toiletries of outstanding quality. Coupled with the custom King Koil mattress and high-thread-count bedding, it offered ultimate softness and comfort, ensuring a truly luxurious sleep.
The public areas are also lavish and fully equipped, with a heated swimming pool, a top-of-the-line Life Fitness gym, and a spacious pillarless ballroom, all readily available. The staff were attentive, dignified, and gracefully polite, providing thoughtful and efficient service throughout my stay. From the hardware facilities to the smallest service details, every aspect exudes luxury and quality. This is undoubtedly the premier choice for business travel and quality stays in Hengyang!

Booked a connecting room with friends, and the holiday price was really good – excellent value. This will be my only choice when I visit Hengyang city center in the future.
**Facilities**: The room is spacious, especially the bathroom, which is very large. The 4K TV has plenty of free content and loads quickly. All appliances are available, and there's an internet cafe just a short walk outside.
**Service**: The hotel's food is delicious. You can order it directly to your room, and it's significantly better than most湘菜 (Hunan cuisine) restaurants outside, with generous portions and excellent hygiene. We ended up eating it twice!
This hotel on Fenghuang Ancient Town mountain offered an amazing experience! The misty mountain air was so fresh and humid, making me feel incredibly relaxed. The rooms are spacious, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The huge bathtub was a dream for a relaxing soak. The balcony views of the mountains are enchanting. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Best of all, it's far from the hustle and bustle of the city, offering a tranquil and quiet atmosphere – the vibe was just perfect. It was a truly comfortable and perfect stay.
Our whole family traveled together, booking three standard rooms and one king room. Both the adults and children were very satisfied, and the hot springs were wonderfully relaxing. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all highly professional and enthusiastic, always promptly addressing any requests. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit! ❤️❤️❤️

AAnonymous UserThis hotel blew it out of the water for us. They made our trip to Zhangjiajie a million times better than it would have been if we had stayed elsewhere. It all started 2 months before our stay. Our hotel butler reached out to me via WeChat and answered all the questions we had about everything. I told our butler that we would be arriving at 9pm and she arranged for a vehicle to pick us up from the airport. The cost was 100 yuan which is a bit steeper than a Didi but I felt it was well worth it since the drive is more than 30 minutes and we were able to guarantee that all our luggages would fit.
A week before our stay she reached out to us and asked if we needed to book tickets for tianmendong and for zhangjiajie forest. She booked both for us with the times we wanted and said we could pay her once we arrived. I double checked the prices and they were exactly the same as what we would have paid if we booked it ourselves. But with her help everything went very smoothly.
The day before we arrived, the driver called me and confirmed that he would pick us up from the airport. The second our flight arrived, he called and confirmed that he was waiting at the gate. Once we came out, he was standing there with a sign with my name on it. It was all very cute and he parked somewhere convenient for us to get picked up. The drive over was smooth and efficient. Our butler also confirmed that she saved us afternoon tea and would have congee ready for us as well. Service was already excelling beyond control at this point.
Once we arrived at the hotel, we checked in with her on the first floor and she gave us a quick rundown of the facilities and everything. When we arrived in our room, it was clean and the bed were nice and big. I also liked that they use Jo Loves for their toiletries. The afternoon tea and congee came up shortly after we walked in. Our room faced this courtyard that was beautiful. Felt like we were living in a fairytale. I liked that the blinds were automatic which was great. They also have a Xiao Du assistant that can help control blinds, temperature and the TV as well. Love the technology.
My only complaint about this hotel is that it gets a bit hot at night. You need to have the aircon on and the window open in order to be at a decent temperature.
Breakfast was another highlight. The chef who also takes away the dishes, is super friendly and so is the auntie who makes the noodles. He was so nice and even made tomato egg when we requested it. The bread etc. Wasn't that great BUT the Chinese dishes he made were all really good. Theres this pork rib dish he makes that is so good. For all 4 days that we stayed there, the food he made was different.
Another great function they have was the robot delivery service. Yes they delivery food but also they have a QR code with products that they have available for free. For example you could order a feet soaking tub (great for long days) and you could also order face washing clothes, one time use underwear, rain jackets. Basically anything you could think of, they probably have.
The afternoon tea and the congee is available everyday so keep that in mind for days you can't find any decent food outside.
We noticed that they had traditional clothing available and so I asked the butler about it. All you need to do is book a timeslot with them and they have a photographer come in and take photos of you. The photographer in the end ended up taking 120 photos of the 3 of us. She was so professional. She edits around 5 for you and the rest are just raw which is great.
Location wise, this hotel is perfect if you are visiting zhangjiajie forest. The south entrance is literally right there. Like 2 minute walk. It's literally right next to the south exit too. There's a KFC nearby which is great and also a Chagee. If you walk one street down there are tons of eateries.
Overall: this hotel was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
EEloise L.This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at by far. If I come back to Changsha, this will definitely be my go-to hotel from now on.
First and foremost, the hotel is clean! That’s my biggest pet peeve when it comes to hotels, and this place exceeded my expectations. The hotel is also themed, so the atmosphere feels much more pleasant and unique compared to a lot of modern hotels. I especially loved the small library space they have.
The room itself is spacious, and the layout is perfect. I like that there’s a separation between the toilet area and the shower area. I also appreciate that the windows can be opened for fresh air. Overall, the room is super quiet, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The service is impeccable. Check-in was smooth, and they offer free laundry service and complimentary afternoon tea every day during your stay. You can also request bottled water for free, and the minibar is stocked with drinks and snacks that are all complimentary as well.
Honestly, I can’t think of a single issue I had during my stay. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. I especially want to commend Ms. Qu Xianlin, a server in the restaurant, for her exceptionally thoughtful and enthusiastic service. She personally brought us coffee and fruit, which I found very touching. Thank you, staff of Sunshine Hotel! The bedding was comfortable, and the room was spacious and very clean. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.
AAnonymous UserTucked away in a lively area, I absolutely loved it. The photo ops were amazing, and the service attitude was excellent. We arrived in Changsha on a red-eye flight, and when we reached the hotel, the lady at the front desk responded quickly to our WeChat message and even ran out to greet us. The staff at the entrance and in the restaurant were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel manager was especially attentive and thoughtful, making us feel right at home during our trip. Since we were traveling with two children, the dining hours here were very flexible, and no matter when we went, we could always find fruit in the restaurant, plus there was afternoon tea – it was fantastic! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Changsha.

GGuest UserI’ve been travelling for decades and stayed at a huge variety of places. By far this is the best one I’ve ever been to.
The whole staff and expecially our butler Yuan yuan和xiaotang were super helpful and friendly. I was so much impressed by their help and readiness to adjust , find ways to solve our problems or fulfill requests. We’re travelling with a child , so we had a lot of requests! We’ve been to a range of 5-star hotels around the globe, but have never seen such help and hospitality.
I’d highly recommend using the hotel taxi for the airport pickups and getting around since it is much better than the local didi choices. You just don’t have air conditioned didi options in the village no matter how much you’re ready to pay. Just old cars with open windows. The hotel cars are new, spacious and comfortable. And the drivers are all very good.
We’ve also enjoyed breakfast very much. Lots of options. And especially good for a child (not spicy and a huge variety of buns).
The location is close to the national park entrance and you walk around 10min to the entrance through a very nice and picturesque park by the river side!
The hotel features its own natural cave with colourful lights. So beautiful! And it’s a great escape in rainy days or demanding days when kids and elder people aren’t exactly eager to go anywhere else but still wish to see something. We’ve even discovered a tiny colony of bats inside!
The hotel has several nice terraces overlooking the park, riverside and the village center. We’ve found it ideal for having snacks or tea outdoors and enjoying the village lights in the evening. The whole hotel territory and the pool are so beautiful, well designed and perfect for taking pictures.
GGuest UserStaying at Forest homestay was the best decision we could have made during our trip to China.
The service was truly 5 star. The staff at the lodge are so kind, helpful and efficient. We got personalised itineraries each day that changed a lot based on the weather, which was quite mixed! I was very impressed by their efficiency and flexibility. Each day we were driven to and from the park gate (for free). Pickup was within a couple of mins of us messaging that we were ready to leave. All of the staff were wonderful, but Guo Pu was a standout from our trip. Not only did he cart us around and respond to any questions via WeChat within minutes, but he made sure we got the most out of our time there - he pulled fruit from fruit trees at the lodge for us to eat, showed us the various animals they keep onsite, and took photos of us at the sky mirror. He was really great at giving instructions for getting the best effects! (Photos attached)
The room was superb - lots of great features like a heated air function in the shower that was helpful for drying off wet clothes after we got caught in a downpour. The room is a rustic style and there’s a few places that could do with a lick of paint and tidying up, but this added more to the rustic charm! The view really was incredible.
The location of the lodge might first seem far from the action of the park, but trust me, this is a blessing in disguise! The park gets incredibly busy, especially around Yuanjiajie. The busyness really can ruin the natural beauty. Being close to the Westgate allows you to access the park from the most uncommon direction which is actually marvellous as it means you are less likely to get caught up in crowds and queues as you are travelling around the park in the opposite direction of the vast majority of the tourists. This really makes a difference and maximising the time that you have in the park. Because of the mixed weather, we ended up travelling most of the top sights in the park again on the single good weather day and this worked really well because of our direction of travel. The Westgate is much quieter and the surrounding area is much more peaceful than the busy area around the east gates. This allows you to really enjoy the peace and beauty of nature when you aren’t exploring the park.
I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Zhangjiajie, and I’d like to thank all of the staff for such a magical and amazing time.
GGuest UserThis hotel was a pleasant surprise on our trip! ⭐️ The whole place has a real resort feel, and every corner is super picturesque. The pool with the mountain views creates an amazing atmosphere. Looking out from our room window, it was like a living Wulingyuan landscape painting ⛰ – the mist and layered mountains really make you just stare in awe. The room itself was also a big plus, very spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows were so comfy I fell asleep instantly. The service was fantastic too!
Qqiuliu001The hotel is in a great location, about a ten-minute walk from the Tianmen Mountain cable car station, making it super convenient to get to and from the scenic area. The facilities are comprehensive, and the buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. There's even a laundry room! Our room was clean and tidy. If you're visiting Tianmen Mountain, I highly recommend this hotel.
XXiaoalv123The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and categories, and the taste was excellent. Our butler, Pengpeng, provided exceptional service, helping us book show tickets and even finding a local tour guide. However, this positive experience was solely due to Pengpeng. The female staff member who handled our check-in was surly throughout. When we first arrived, she said our room wasn't ready and would take half an hour. My child and I went out to eat for an hour, but upon returning, we still couldn't get our room key immediately. She claimed they needed to inspect the room and then gave various reasons why we couldn't check in right away. Pengpeng (not the surly check-in staff) constantly tried to calm me down. While I was waiting for the room key, the unfriendly staff member took a phone call that had nothing to do with me, but she kept using a harsh tone, repeatedly saying ”no” without any semblance of customer service. The hotel has a self-service laundry room and is conveniently located near the East Gate. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel pays great attention to detail; four bottles of water are provided daily in the room, and the lobby offers complimentary cold drinks and various beverages, showing their thoughtfulness everywhere. My positive review is dedicated to Pengpeng, the excellent butler. I also hope the hotel can improve its service management overall!
TTOOBUGHidden gem in the mountains – Relian Shanheji, a must-give-full-marks! The decor is incredibly upscale, new Chinese style with a touch of luxury. The public areas are spacious and elegant, and the rooms are wide and comfortable with soft bedding and high-end bathroom fixtures. Every design detail exudes style, making it perfect for photos. The window offers a stunning panorama of mountains and rivers. The location of this B&B is absolutely incredible, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing water on one. By day, you see lush green peaks; by night, a sky full of stars. Far from the city's hustle and bustle, it's so quiet you can only hear birds chirping and the wind blowing, allowing both body and mind to completely relax. The service is top-notch! The front desk staff were warm and meticulous, the cleaning aunties were attentive and thorough, and the butler provided thoughtful assistance throughout our stay. Whether it was preparing breakfast, carrying luggage, or handling last-minute requests, everything was handled quickly and perfectly. We truly felt at home. We stayed here for two days and enjoyed good food, good sleep, and amazing views. Service, aesthetics, and experience all get full marks. If you're visiting Zhangjiajie, you absolutely must stay here; you won't be disappointed!
