The room was too close to the road for the first night and did not rest. The problem was solved by changing the room for the next two nights. There are relatively few hotels in this place, and there are many people on weekends.

NoirThe location of The Lazy Duck Inn is perfect—just a few minutes' drive from the West Entrance of Yellowstone. West Yellowstone town itself has everything you need, and the McDonald's nearby is probably your most reliable bet for food.
The room was renovated, really clean, and the mattress was super comfortable. It’s got a coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge, but the best part was definitely the huge smart TV where you can cast YouTube and Netflix straight from your phone. They also have grills and an ice machine in the common area. Even though it's a contactless vibe, you can see staff around every morning if you need to ask them for anything.
A couple of downsides: the Wi-Fi can be pretty sluggish at times. Also, there are no exhaust fans in the kitchen or bathroom, so any cooking or bathroom smells tend to linger in the room for a while. Lastly, the room rate plus the cleaning fee is definitely on the pricier side, but honestly, that’s just a West Yellowstone thing.
Just a heads-up for future guests: amenities might vary depending on the room number, so make sure to check carefully before booking. Also, the property has two floors, and if you get a room on the second floor, you'll need to carry your luggage up the stairs.
Overall, if you want something close to the park that’s clean and has great amenities, this is a solid place to stay. Just keep the Wi-Fi and ventilation in mind.

The hotel is very unique, with a cute wolf on the doorstep. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped, making it suitable for families. The standard American breakfast was very good. I asked what time to go to Yellowstone Park in the morning to avoid queuing, and the front desk patiently told me that it was best to go before 8 o'clock.

I watched this place be constructed so I was excited about our stay knowing it was brand new. The front lobby was clean. The check in clerk was nice but seemed very spacey to put it nicely. I was able to get an extra pillow and blanket. They is a decent area of sun dries on site. Our room was nice. Clean for the most part. Show may have been skipped in last cleaning. Our room was ADA and the mattress would fall thru the frame whenever my husband got into bed. We expressed this concern when checking out because it could hurt someone if they were actually handicapped. We just got the room because it was last available. She didn’t seem that concerned. So who knows. But it’s right on main. Near mall and lots of shopping and eateries. Not too far from downtown Bozeman. It’s great to have a kitchen to save more on food. The gym was nice. Small but clean. I would stay again just because of its location and the kitchen.

The conditions in West Yellowstone are absolutely ok. It’s unique and don’t even think about the service. There are Chinese and Western food nearby. It’s very convenient to see wolves and bears. Just go to McDonald’s for breakfast.

Room: The area is relatively large, the facilities and hardware are relatively new, the surrounding environment is quiet, it is a little far from the city.
Service: The front desk and restaurant have a good service attitude, there is free coffee in the lobby, hot food for breakfast, fruit, not many varieties but enough to eat, 5-6 there is free happy hour.

Guest UserHelpful Staff, Clean and well maintained. Its a Super 8 so more functional than fancy. Manager reminded us to take breakfast the night before as we were leaving before 7am, in the hopes of seeing wolves in the Lamar Valley, which we did!
Greeted in the morning by a fox with a cataract as I packed the vehicle. Remember Cooke City is the Wild West and surrounded by Grizzlies.

Guest UserThis was the perfect place to stay while visiting Bigfork for a wedding. The location is amazing!!- walkable to downtown shops and restaurants, but quiet and secluded with lush landscaping and the river flowing throuh the back of the property. The 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds was so cute, clean and the bathroom was extremely spacious. Front desk attendants were so helpful and even let us do a load of laundry in the office since our unit did not have a washer/dryer. Highly recommend staying here!! 10/10!!

Guest UserI don’t really recommend this hotel. I had no other option because West Yellowstone was booked solid. The place is relatively clean, but so old I can’t tell if something is old or dirty. The young man at the front desk is a true *******. We were two hours early for check-in, and all his rooms were available, but he told me to return. I thought that was no way to treat travelers after being on the road for hours. I don’t think I’ll ever stay there again, unless of course, there’s no other options.
