3-Star Hotels in Mandalay, Myanmar

This hotel is only good for a one-night stopover if you're heading to Bagan or somewhere else. If you plan to stay in Mandalay for a few days, I'd recommend looking for something more suitable. The showerhead was clogged, the window faced a wall (classic!), and the floor was dirty. For the price, the room was, of course, microscopic.

Overall, it's fairly clean and tidy. Before check-in, the hotel will inform you that smoking is prohibited in the rooms. If you smoke after checking in and the hotel finds out, they will charge you tens of thousands of Myanmar Kyats for various reasons, and any damaged items will be charged at the hotel's price. Also, drinks in the hotel room are chargeable, and the price is three times that of convenience stores outside (it seems about 90% of hotels here have opaque pricing). If you haven't inquired before checking into a hotel here, it's best to ask to avoid unnecessary arguments and wasted time during check-out.

The breakfast shop was attentive and delicious I stayed for a week and I had a good time without any inconvenience. I recommend it

Excellent stay here & extended one extra day in Bagan. Staffs are super friendly & helpful, it’s inside the bagan pagodas & backyard is Irrawaddy river, quiet & pewceful. Very thankful that they let me check in earlier at 7.30am & upgraded my room to suite. I had the most wonderful time staying here in Bagan! Highly recommended!!!

I stayed at Holidays Pier Hotel for 2 days during my business trip on November 2025 . The room was beautifully and clean. The location was perfect with city view. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. However, the air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

I didn't expect the Samsung hotel rooms to be equipped with bathtubs, and the pool and gym environment was also very good. The room is very spacious and the service is very detailed. The hotel is said to have opened last year. The facilities are newer than other hotels in Mandalay. It feels that it has reached the 4-star standard and will choose next time.

They prepared ebike very quickly to explore around Bagan. Thanx to ebike, coukd visit all around Bagan witg cheap price.

It’s all very good, that is, there is a problem with the POS machine at the front desk. The first payment cannot be confirmed. I paid the second time. After I checked out, I returned the first one to me. The hotel is not very familiar with these processes.

Very good Hotel. NIce pool and in good location, inside the area temples.

Very convenient and safe. You can directly book various activities at the front desk. The hot water supply is quite stable (though the maximum temperature isn't super high). There's someone sleeping by the entrance at night, which makes you feel pretty secure.
