Not really satisfied, service could be better.
Reached at 4pm (indoesia time) to check in, was asked to wait as the room is not ready. Waited for 10mins which is okay.
Card only given 1 - not convenient when we arranged inhouse massage as one of us need to stay in the room with the massuer while my husband went down to pick up another masseur and the room went off pitch black.
Breakfast - eggs ran out by 9am, and was told that there will be no more eggs
Checkout day, called reception around 10am - request for additional mineral bottle for drinking but was told that we are checking out today and we would need to purchase the bottle.
Checkout - was running 5 minutes late, reception already called asking to check out now.
Bed and pillows are okay and comfortable to sleep. There’s international plug so you can use if you’re using 3 pin plug.
Location is perfect, just across the Tunjungan Plaza but nothing nice to shop. Just boring.
Service could be better, but definitely not returning for us.
I dont know much about the location since I only used it for transit between places, but it was okay since it was close to the place I wanted to go to. Cleanliness wise, the bed sheets could do well with more cleaning since they're stained. Service is normal for a hotel that cheap. Facilities is also not much different, just the fact that we have to use stairs is a bit dissapointing. Wifi is okay.
The location is very convenient. The receptionist Apreriya is friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and clean, but there weren’t slippers and hair dryer. I had a nice rest there before moving to my next destination. That’s pity that the swimming pool is closed due to renovation until 25th August.
It's a comfortable place for a transit stay, but this time I was perhaps unlucky. I got a room where the AC wasn't cooling properly, and the TV only just turned on, with a blurry picture and a very limited channel selection.
📍Location
(+) Located in the city center, convenient access to many tourist spots in Surabaya. There's Indomaret next to the hotel, which makes it convenient too. Wisata Rasa, a recommend place to buy edible souvenirs (like almond crispy), is also nearby.
(-) I expected very walkable distance to Tunjungan Romansa, but it is apparently further away than expected. Still walkable but will take quite some time, and only walkable at night. Walking in the day is not very feasible due to Surabaya hot weather.
🏠 Room Facilities
(+) TV, desk, 3 electrical outlets, wardrobe with hangers, storage cabinet, safety box, air dryer in the bathroom, and electric kettle are available. Water gallon for refills is available outside the room.
(-) The lights in the room are dim, which makes the room unsuitable for work. Toilet issue is of low quality. No fridge. Cuttlery are provided with charge.
🏨 Hotel Facilities
(+) Great breakfast with various options, including local delicacies like lontong balap. There are board games, mini pool table, and foosball. PCs are available in the lobby, not sure if it works though. Can store luggage in the receptionist after check out. Toilets are available in the lobby.
(-) The hotel only gives 1 access card per room, even if I book a room for 2 people. Was excited to see congklak game but apparently the seeds weren't enough.
👥 Service
(+) Friendly staffs. Could ask for extra towel. Could request for specific housekeeping cleaning time.
I was pleased with my experience staying at Hotel Bisanta Bidakara. The building is kinda old, but the room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable sofa, TV, closet for hanging clothes, refrigerator, and a relaxing bathtub. The hotel also provided a delicious breakfast with a diverse range of dishes, including nasi goreng, pecel, bubur ayam, spaghetti, nasi kuning, and many more.
However, there were a few issues that arose during my stay. The air conditioning unit failed to turn on for about 20 minutes, the remote control screen was blurry, and there was a noticeable noise from the machine. Fortunately, the AC was able to function again after a short while.
While there is room for improvement, the hotel's comfortable rooms, the wonderful breakfast experience and responsive staff make it a good choice for those looking for accommodation in Surabaya.
staying at Kampi for staycation during Christmas holiday. near TP and Tunjungan Street (you can walk, just around 5-10mins walking distance). there was Apsari Park and a lot of food stall from local seblak, fried rice to Burger King, McDonalds, etc. there was one pub/club just across the street from Kampi. the room was quite spacious, though they had no bathtub. first thing first, they provided each roomi with android TV, so you can stream your favorite show on netflix, prime video, etc. definitely will be back here for another short vacation.
The double bed is actually two single beds pushed together; the bed shifts, leaving a concave area in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep in. The location is good, and the service is satisfactory.
The room and bathroom were fairly spacious. However, the property shows signs of age, and it is clear that it is an older structure in moderate condition. The bathroom appears to be in better shape, possibly because it has been renovated.
The additional air conditioner (split unit) was excellent—very quiet, almost imperceptible, and highly effective.
There were some minor issues with the laundry service, as a few stains or imperfections were noticeable. However, these did not appear to be due to used linens, but rather to washing or handling.
The lighting in the room was good, even though the electrical system is somewhat dated. There were convenient power outlets near the bed, along with bedside lights. The room lighting was more than adequate, while the bathroom lighting was slightly insufficient.
The Wi-Fi connection was satisfactory, with no significant interruptions or dropouts.
The location is ideal for travelers needing to catch a train, as the railway station is only a few hundred meters away.
Overall, the property offers good value for money.

Thank you Hotel Arcadia by Horison. The service is great The stuff is great and polite The room is comfy The food is delicious and big portion
One of the good hotels to try. Because there are many strategic places that sell cheap food and sungi because the location is in the middle of housing. The weather is cool and there is also a swimming pool. Suitable for families and couples for weekends or long holidays
The view was amazing!!! We woke up to the sounds of bird chirping outside, beautiful sunrise and fresh air. Thank you for the cute decoration, we truly appreciate it. Will definitely recommed this accommodation to our friends and other family members! :)
The room is very bright thus enough light when its needed for me to work during my business trip. The breakfast have decent amount of choices. Will definitely come back and stay here in the future trip
This hotel is strategically located along the main road. There are a lot of restaurants, cafe and convenient stores nearby. In terms of rooms, we are happy to book a room. We get 2 big beds and in one room, four adults can sleep comfortably. Toilet is divided into shower cubicle, sink and vanity mirror and toilet bowl. My comment is that shower cubicle is only half closed and it's missing proper glass door. Therefore, shower water spills into the sink and mirror section. When it's wet, the tile is quite slippery. So, walk carefully. Two breakfast coupons worth IDR50,000.00 each are given for each room. You can have your breakfast delivered to your room or you can dine at the restaurant. The restaurant is located in the building next to the hotel. We were informed that the restaurant is under the same management as the hotel. The food is good. We ordered bubur ayam a few times as it is good. Nasi goreng Jawa is very delicious. There are chicken slices and cabbage slices. It's well cooked and the portion is generous. What is interesting about this hotel? It has a rooftop restaurant and you can take pictures of Malang city from up there.
