The hotel rooms are clean and well equipped. The hotel restaurant food is delicious, dinner should be reserved early, the opportunity to miss the opportunity because there is no reservation that night, the restaurant is full. Breakfast is not bad. In addition, there are many restaurants, supermarkets, close to Blue Lake and other attractions near the hotel, it is worth recommending.

Except for the location far from the city center, there are no other disadvantages! Fortunately, the entrance is the starting point of the small train into the city, and you can get a card to travel all over the city😎 The biggest highlight is of course the unbeatable sea view, the sunrise and sunset are beautiful! You can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset in the room without leaving the house🌅 You can never take enough photos! I also specially followed the local customs and went to the beach for a morning run🏃♀️, breathing the air full of the sea🌊, blowing the sea breeze, and eating oysters🦪+beer🍻 at noon, it was so refreshing!

The location was good and the facilities were good. But the problem is, I found a badburgh, and I found one as soon as I lay down. I lay down to sleep and smell it from the pillow. So I don't use the quilt and put the towel on the pillow and sleep. The club is not in trouble with fluorescent lights.

We recently stayed at the Presidential Motel and will never stay there again or recommend anyone stay there again. We checked in on Thursday, 24th February 2022 to a lady who was very rude. She advised me as I was booking in that they would be charging me a $200.00 pre-authorisation damages fee that would cover any damages to the room. I asked her why this was the case and she advised that it was standard through booking.com and booking.com charged this on all booking.com bookings. I advised her that I used booking.com on all my bookings and have never been charged a damages fee. She was quite rude and ended up charging me $150.00 after admitting that it was the hotels preference to charge customers a damages fee not booking.com. I want to the room with friends to put my luggage away. 2 cleaners were cleaning the room beside my room. They asked me if I was booking into the room that they were cleaning and advised them that I was booking into Room 48. 1 of the cleaners advised that she would do a check of the room to see if it was ready to be booked. She unlocked the room and went inside to do a check. She advised me that the fridge had to be stocked. I asked her if I could take some blankets as it was cold and she said yes. She showed me the cupboards where the blankets were and I removed 2 blankets from the cupboard that was encased in white bags. These bags were carried out to the boot of my car. The door closed behind me and I thought I had left the swipe card in the room. I asked the cleaner could she unlock the room for me, which she did. The cleaner then went back to the room next door to finish her cleaning. (Approval of using the blankets were witnessed by 4 people that were with me). On Friday, 25th February 2022 I received a missed call from 08 8724 9966 at 12:24 pm. I returned this call and was greeted by a man advising that he was the manager of the Presidential Motel and had been advised by his cleaner that the blankets had not been returned to the room. I advised him that the blankets were still in the car as I grabbed them because my kids were cold. He asked where I was and I told him that I was at the speedway. He spat the dummy stating that they could not be at the speedway and had to be returned to the motel so they wouldn’t get dirty. I told him that they wouldn’t get dirty because we were parked in the pits and the blankets were kept in the car for the kids to use. He said that they would get grease etc on them because we were at the speedway. I again advised him that this wouldn’t be the case because they were in the car. Our kids were racing go karts, which doesn’t have grease etc like the cars would. I told him that I would return the blankets to the room and told him I had to go. I then hung up the phone. I drove the Great Ocean Road to Mount Gambier to see the Blue Lake. Because there were no chain hotels in the area, I randomly opened a blind box and chose Komodo. I didn't expect to win the jackpot. The room was clean, tidy, bright and warm. The door and window faced east and west, so the air in the room was very comfortable and there was no stuffiness from the closed windows. There were four breakfast sets to choose from, including hot drinks. They were all freshly made and delicious. I definitely recommend it to all travelers who choose to stay overnight in Mount Gambier. The front desk was more confident in the Chinese driving skills and gave me Room 1 near the exit. As long as I parked close to the parking space line of Room 2, there would be plenty of space. An experienced driver would definitely have no problem.

Ensuite a little outdated but the room had been freshened up. We had trouble connecting to the wifi. The restaurant was closed on our visit but we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Be aware that while there is a 'late check-in' window, a sign on the door said that reception hours had changed to 8am - 8pm (when we booked the site said it was open all night... it might be wise to check ahead if you're likely to be later) Good, clean accommodation. We had a good stay.

As you walked into the room straight away could tell the floor wasn’t all that clean and the walls were extremely dirty also had ants and smelt as if the room had not been opened up and/or aired out

The room I ordered on very late notice was great, had everything I needed and was very affordable. More importantly for me, the customer service from the lovely Ukrainian manager was amazing. She gave me a complimentary can of coke when I arrived two hours early, and a bottle of water when I checked out at 12PM. It was greatly appreciated. I hardly ever write reviews, but credit where credit is due. I'm a very happy customer and will absolutely stay there again. Thank you so much!

Thank you for finding us a room at the last minute! Arrived late wasn’t sure what to expect but for an older style motel it was perfectly fine! It’s not 5 star but very clean & the bed was comfy We had an upstairs room - so be conscious of taking bags upstairs but their were several downstairs rooms! Parking was easy & the restaurant was busy we had already eaten so didn’t dine in but the meals looked nice & big. Would def return next time we are in the area Appreciate your hospitality

A nice and clean hotel, perfectly located for travelers by car. The staff is polite and helpful. However, the walls are quite thin, and you can hear the neighbors very clearly. Recommended with this in mind!

Although staff at reception were friendly and helpful, management need to allocate more resources to cleaning (as I’m sure the limited staff do what they can with the time they are allocated to clean each room). The state of my room was disappointing to say the least. Rubbish was left from the previous occupier in the bathroom cupboard and with the tea/coffee supplies. The floor looked like it had not been vacuumed. The thick layer of dust along the top of the bed head was unbelievable. It was warm in the room but the ceiling fan was filthy and therefore I didn’t want to use it. Thankfully the toilet, shower and bedsheets were clean but I honestly thought about leaving within 5 minutes of my arrival! The small on-site parking is handy, but it’s tricky to manoeuvre into and only available if you’re in early. The website photo of the executive room suggests it overlooks the park. Sadly, a view of the car park was for us, but the good thing about this was that it reduced the noise from the street. I will not stay at Ensenada again. I will avoid Glenelg as well - too noisy (late night bars), too busy, and quite grubby overall.

Very clean comfortable motel for the price. Comfy beds with great big thick pillows. Obliging staff. Outside seating and very clean pool although the weather was a bit cool to swim. Would stay there again.

Due to flight delays and re-routing from Bali to Perth to Adelaide instead of Bali to Adelaide direct, I arrived too late to check in, so I did not get to stay there. However my communications with them prior to the potential delay were polite and they tried as best as possible to accommodate potential late arrival but it was after midnight by the time I cleared Adelaide airport.

Most plastic chairs and 1 of the 2 plastic loungers at the pool were broken and beyond repair. Pool seemed to have its often leafy and hair-balled bottom vacuumed and some water added once a week. It never appeared to have any disinfecting chemicals added. There was a pool safety sign that showed first aid tips and a no-running rule in small font, but there was no mention of the commonplace horseplay, jumping, and diving in the pool. Also, kids routinely ignored the No Running bit - often in full view of their watching adults. The pool’s layout seemed to invite accidents with sharp edges protruding in at least 3 places along the attached remains of 2 jacuzzis. Overall, it was often a playground for kids and their watchers, but at best, rather like a plunge pool with insufficient space for any real swimming, even for a couple of guests. A shading structure covered 2 wooden tables and benches, and the whole pool area was enclosed in a fenced part of the parking lot adjacent to bins for recyclables and garbage. Someone made a daily routine of throwing out crushed biscuits and crackers to feed pigeons, etc. Housekeeping and reception were very professional with only occasional reminders needed about missed reservations and amenities at the busy time we were there. Room furnishings included large tv, microwave, refrigerator, good mattress and kitchenware. Laundry room with card reading machines was another plus. Location was great for either walking or taking the tram to Glenelg beach - walking there along ANZAC Hwy or using the tram at 4th Ave & Dunbar Tce.

After living in the hotel for three weeks, I can say that I am going to be a master. The rooms are large and well-equipped. The location is very good, the bus arrives at the airport, the hotel is next to Glenelg Beach, and it takes about a few minutes to get to the beach. The harbor branch at the doorway stopped a lot of boats. The weather in July was very cold in the morning and evening, and it was hot at noon. The sky is blue, and the sea is also. The hotel goes to outlet, IKEA, the airport is very convenient, there are buses in all directions; it is also very convenient to go to the city, in most cases we choose the bus or the tram on the beach. Along the way there are big lawns and houses with garages, everything is fresh. There are a lot of foods near the hotel. There is a high-price seafood buffet. Go over 1-2mins and recommend to eat at noon on weekdays. The price is cheap. Walking 4-5mins towards the beach is a row of restaurants facing the harbour, with the best oysters and a variety of fresh ingredients. The city’s restaurant wine is said to be a major feature. Going a little further to the beach is the lively pedestrian street. The tram is slowly smashing on the road, with ice cream shops and various gourmet shopping shops on both sides. Adelaide in July was winter, still cold, didn't go swimming in the pool, but the pool looked clean. There is no embarrassment in this city, only a steady life and a fireworks atmosphere.

The entrance and exterior to this venue was uninspiring. However, the Superior Queen Room was superb! It was in excellent condition, clean and well equipped. The kitchenette had a sink and all washing up gear was provided. There was a good stock of tea and coffee. The complimentary biscuits were a nice touch. The shower was great. There were lounge chairs as well as a counter area with bar stools for dining. There were shelves for 2 suitcases. The free Wifi connection was good. Paper and plastic recycling was encouraged. There was a covered BBQ and outdoor eating area. Parking was easy to access. Although situated on a busy road, we heard no traffic noise. A superior room, for sure!

The hotel environment is small and fresh, the room is very large, and the sanitation is very good. Because the staff at the front desk in the evening need to press the Ling to get out, I feel that there are not many people staying in the hotel. It is very convenient to have a supermarket and a gas station. Driving from the Ganbell Blue Lake is ten. minute.

Good location but few other positive things to say about this place. Bed was horrible. Don't think there was a single spring in the mattress & thought it would swallow me whole. Pillows were like massive bricks. Horrible smell that constantly permeated the room. Shower was the absolute worst! Terrible water pressure & would go from scalding hot to freezing cold over & over for no particular reason. Bathroom fan did not work & the toilet would refill with a trickle. Would literally take over half an hour to fill. TV had terrible reception. There was a fridge & Wi-Fi. No hairdryer. I do not recommend this motel.

This venue was a great place to stop on our trip from Hobart to Adelaide. The recently renovated rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious whilst being well appointed. It was everything we needed. The management and staff were friendly and helpful, even to the point of helping us when we realised that we had a flat battery and making us a cup of tea whilst we waited for the RACT.

My wife and I stayed here for just one night to take advantage of some free Vline train vouchers, so, as our host told us,, we were not typical of most travellers arriving at the motel by car. We chose this place because the price was reasonable, previous reviews were good and the location was not far from the Vline coach terminal next to the Visitor Information Centre. Our Queen room was basic but clean, comfortable and well air-conditioned. There were good supplies of cutlery, crockery and snacks, together with a microwave and a toaster. Whilst not serving meals at the motel, our host told us of a cafe nearby. He was charming to chat to and kindly looked after our baggage for us in the free hours between checkout and our coach departure. All up, a very pleasant experience.

A good choice to stay here overnight after a long day of driving from Adelaide. We were welcomed by friendly staff. Our room had everything we needed including a very comfy bed. Great to get a good nights sleep before heading off early the next morning for another long drive. Continental breakfast was a bonus!
