This hostel is in a great location, easy to find, and close to Yau Ma Tei MTR station. There are plenty of shops nearby with a wide selection of goods, and it's super convenient for late-night food. The rooms are well-equipped, with air conditioning, and the bathroom has plenty of hot water, shower gel, and shampoo. It's very clean everywhere. The common areas are spacious and there's a kitchen available for cooking. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

My experience at the hostel was pleasant. I stayed at a double room for 3 nights. Location wise it’s a little bit far from the MTR stations. It’s pretty clean but everything’s a bit time-worn. The bathroom doesn’t really dry so there were some drain flies, which was not desirable but understandable. The bed was harder than I would like but I made do covering it with another blanket from the other bed that I was not using. One big issue was that the power outlets were at the desk instead of next to the beds like most hotels and it was really inconvenient. Another troublesome thing is that you must bring the bed, pillow and duvet covers when you check out. That was pretty difficult as I needed to bring two portions of that on my own. Didn’t know it came with breakfast vouchers at the restaurant and I got to try it once. It was not bad for a free breakfast. Not sure if I would pay to eat there.

I stayed in a 6-bed dorm with a private bathroom. Free WiFi and power adapters were provided, and communication was excellent. It offered good value for money, and the owner was very friendly. It's a great option for a layover during your travels. I forgot to take pictures, so I'm using some from other reviews.

Suraj was very helpful in responding to messages. Lesson learned, if you have any issues, escalate and contact Suraj. Suraj is the owner. After hours (after 7pm) it is essential to contact Suraj, as the reception is unavailable, and the chat is unresponsive. Suraj can be reached on WhatsApp by the after hours contact ending in 7191 Suraj can help resolve issues such as: - Room not cleaned at check in Thank you for your quick responsiveness, I'll be happy to stay here next time.

The hotel's location is ideal, easy to find, and close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. There are many brand-name shops and restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of choices, and it's also very convenient for late-night snacks. The hotel room facilities are good, with air conditioning and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The common areas are spacious, suitable for large gatherings. The reception service is excellent. I had a pleasant, quiet, and comfortable stay for two nights. The owner was kind to let me check in early and got me acquainted with the interesting spaces within the hostel. The amenities nearby served me well - <10 mins walk to the nearest train station, a supermarket across the road, and some eateries. Highly recommended for solo and/or female travellers.

This hostel is super convenient, located right in Tsim Sha Tsui. Just exit A1 from the MTR and cross the road, and you're there! I stayed in room 1302 of Haiphong Mansion. The owner who checked me in was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. On the first day, she arranged for us to stay on the 9th floor in an 8-person room. The beds were clean, and the bedding was comfortable. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Hong Kong.

This is my third time staying at this hostel, and the manager and staff are as lovely as ever. The weather was fantastic this time, and I got to see a spectacular sunset – truly stunning and incredibly satisfying. Every visit brings a new experience. I hope to come back for a holiday here every year! Highly recommended!

You get what you paid for. For that price. It's considered ok for that location with that kind of arrangement. HK is known for space scarcity and high price. Many shops nearby. Phone shop at ground floor selling various second hand phones with reasonable price. Many food shops available. Opposite got ladies market. Pity The receptionist. The working environment and the amount of pressure for a period of long time had turned her into emotionally and mentally unstable person with frequent up & down for no reason. You give phone or passport, she kind of throw back to you. You speak English, she speak mandarin, you speak mandarin, she speak English. Pity her, nobody to help her. Maybe she even not getting her pay properly. Who knows. So don't focus on her, focus on your purpose, that's a bed for you. She is IT expert will WhatsApp to you all the passwords and bed details. Make your life pretty easy.

Receptionists can speak and understand English perfectly and I had no stress during my stay. They kept my baggage after I checked out until midnight, so I enjoyed sightseeing without heavy bag. No shampoo/ conditioner/ soap, but they have free coffee and tea service. I think it is good enough. The building location is not so bad, good access to Victoria Peak and the airport by taking a bus without transit.

LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel. Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch. Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget. We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us. The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

MMichelUHi this is specific place you have to be aware of that. Building is full of hostels. Every flor is different hostel. There is no name of hostel on the board. You have to go directly to 16th floor. In rush hour you will have to wait a bit for a lift, but generally I am aware for the price you can expect to much. Big advantage is clean room even though surroundings might say something else. The worst for us was fact that hostel lie in information provided for trip. Rooms doesn’t have 14 square meters , maximum is half of that. We should get room with another view. Generally for the price in Hong Kong it’s ok but do not be fool by information provided by hotel on Trip.com. If you are backpacker then I think you can manage but I will not recommend it for families or couples. What’s more we get room at 6th floor, Water drops from the air conditioners on higher floors were dripping onto our AC unit all night, so unfortunately, we couldn't get a good night's sleep.

VV1KJEI had a great stay at Joyce House (Tsim Sha Tsui), made even better by the warm welcome from May. After a long day of travelling—and going slightly bonkers trying to find the place—her friendly check-in (and a few well-timed compliments!) was exactly what I needed. A quick heads-up for future travellers: it’s easy to find if you follow the instructions carefully. The entrance is quite narrow, and the hotel is on the 5th floor—once the lift doors open, voilà, you’re right there. Just note, it’s not listed on the notice board downstairs, so don’t let that throw you off. Now, the room—let’s just say it’s… efficient! 😄 It’s compact (very compact), but I knew exactly what I was booking. As someone who’s 5ft 10in, even the bed was a bit of a squeeze, but for a solo traveller packing light, it does the job perfectly. The place itself is clean, well-kept, and has everything you need for a short stay. The real standout is the location. With the Tsim Sha Tsui subway right on your doorstep, getting around the city is incredibly easy. You’re also surrounded by plenty of great food spots and things to do, so you’ll rarely be in the room anyway. If you’re in Hong Kong for a few nights and just need a comfortable base while you explore, this is a great option—especially when you consider that space is a luxury here. I’d happily stay here again. Thanks to May and the team for making it such a pleasant experience!

JJiaowonanshenjiuhaoleI had heard that hotels in Hong Kong were small and expensive, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, and the room was larger than I anticipated, even featuring a big and a small bed. Plus, the large window offered a great view directly onto Nathan Road. I'm very satisfied.

GGuest UserThis building is located above a large mobile phone store. The housekeeping staff communicate via mobile phone or WeChat, as there's no physical front desk; they provide the password for the keyless entry remotely. The room is standardly compact but has everything you need. You can leave your luggage here, and most guests are Chinese.

GGuest UserIt’s a shame as it could be a good place it’s got the makings but needs some attention..The worst thing is they need new mattresses in the pods as there about 2cm thick it’s like sleeping on the floor I was waking up every night having to move as I was in a bit of pain and there was cock roaches coming out of the fridge as it needed a clean Also the toilet paper needs more in every day as it was running out daily. Also the aircon was leaking next to my pod I sent them a message to turn it off as it was not that hot when I was there ans they had it in the other rooms so you could of left the door open or  better still get it fixed as I was there for 4 day and nothing I would not stay again but if them issues was taken care of I would as it’s not a bad place.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic – right downstairs is the Tsim Sha Tsui A2 MTR exit, and it's just a short walk to Victoria Harbour. The hotel decor is very new, and the daily cleaning service is excellent. The room has everything you need, including disposable toiletries and even a universal adapter, which is a great bonus. I highly recommend this as your first stop in Hong Kong!

CChiapanecooSimple and clean place to stay. Fantastic location in Kowloon, near everything on that side. Fantastic wifi. Comfortable beds with curtain. There is hot/cool drinking water. No common area. Guests are mostly mainland Chinese. Be aware of the check-in process before booking!! If you don't already have an active and unblocked WeChat account, I suggest you do not book here. - Host does not respond to Trip.com messaging. Only via WeChat (but not a WeChat account linked to the phone number in the booking confirmation) - To find the WeChat code for check-in, locate ”Tsimshatsui Mansion” on Google maps. When you arrive, find elevator #1 or #2 (see attached map), and go to the 8th floor. Other elevators won't access the room - only use those two elevators! - Once you reach the door, scan the WeChat code, send them a screenshot of your booking confirmation, and within a few minutes they'll send you the codes. (I've attached a picture of the WeChat code.) - Be advised that WeChat is incredibly difficult for many foreigners to set up. It's not a simple app like WhatsApp or Line. You often need to find a person with a mainland WeChat account (not a HK account) to authenticate you, though even that fails sometimes. Don't wait until you're at the door to try to make an account. - Without Wechat, I'm not sure if you can check-in. There was one non-Chinese guest who stood outside for a while trying to set up WeChat, until a kind neighbor happened to pass by and scanned the WeChat code for her. - Host could simply send the check-in codes via Trip.com messaging. It would make their life a lot easier and things incredibly better for non-Chinese guests. I recommend they change to doing this.
