This is my second time staying here. The first was two years ago in December. Based on that great first impression, I rebooked a 6-bed room at Zixin, and it's still as good as ever. The experience is really nice. The accommodation is clean, quiet, and safe. The convenience for shopping nearby is excellent, absolutely nothing to complain about. 5-star rating! I'll definitely consider staying here again in the future. The landlady's attitude is also great!

Really impressed by this hostel. Very well run and thought-out. Well-designed dorm rooms, AC all day. Each bed has a lamp and two universal plugs.
Great common area (though fills up sometimes) with a full kitchen, including two induction burners, a rice cooker, an air fryer and a large fridge/freezer. Fast and reliable wifi. Never had to wait long for the elevator. Clear signage on the front to find the hostel and check-in (a rarity in China).
Very competent staff who speak good English.
Located right by a metro station, a Wellcome grocery store and Temple Street night market. Walking distance to Mong Kok area but it's best to take the metro anywhere else. I would 100% stay here again.

It's a bit of a walk from the subway and located on a slope, probably right behind Garden Hill. For Hong Kong, where every inch of land is precious, the room size is surprisingly good. It has all the essentials, though there are no power outlets by the bed; they're all concentrated on the desk, which is typical for a hostel. There's also a great on-site restaurant with a lovely outdoor setting for breakfast. The simple breakfast provided offers a satisfying taste of cha chaan teng-style food. The only thing I found a bit inconvenient was having to pay a deposit, and they only accepted Master or Visa cards, or cash. For someone in Hong Kong who no longer carries foreign cards, it was a bit awkward. Overall, though, it was pretty good.

Facilities: Good, well-equipped.
Hygiene: Good, clean and sanitary.
Environment: Good, convenient for getting around, pleasant environment.
Service: Good, attentive service.
I met many people from different countries, and everyone was very enthusiastic in their conversations.
Staying here during the National Day holiday was incredibly value for money. Lots of families with kids came to experience it. You get a fantastic 360-degree sea view. Down the hill in Kennedy Town, there are plenty of food options, supermarkets, and a wet market. The apartment allows for cooking, so you can be self-sufficient. Make sure to check the shuttle bus schedule on the official website beforehand. I added the manager on WeChat, and they were very responsive.

I’ve never been to a hostel in HK before. Didn’t realise that there were a few dotted around. I was only dipping in and out of the city and it was for a night. Really chill vibe, don’t worry if you forget the random toiletries as they have a collection from other travellers and some provided by the hostel like shampoo and body wash. Also some small snacks and fruit, coffee and tea. Nice vibe, slept well but the mixed room could do with some ventilation when the door is closed, it doesn’t smell too pleasant. Staff were friendly and as hostels go, it’s great for people who want to meet others to travel along with or get tips.

Good value for money, can't expect much at that price considering the good location it's in. It has air-conditioning and hot water, it does need ventilation as there is no windows so the air circulation is terrible and smells sometimes depending on the room and people in there. For checking in, you have to call a number on the door from a phone on the wall, the person was nice and speaks English they give you the instructions and the code for the room, for check out you just leave no need for anything else.
Service and location are also very good, the facilities are relatively old, no food is provided, but there are shared rooms! There are many restaurants and barbecue areas nearby! The reservoir's dam is a must-see for watching the sunset.

Depends on your purpose for visiting this area, you may or may not find this hostel convenient. I chose this hostel solely because I planned to check out Tai O and do an early morning hike up Lantau Peak.
There’s actually not much in the area except the Giant Buddha, the beautiful monastery, and the Wisdom Path if you choose to include it. This is the only hotel/hostel in the area. There’s no supermarket or convenience store nearby, so I highly suggest bringing plenty of food and drinks before arriving. You might also want to bring your own slippers!
The hostel has a water purifier, hot and cold showers, a microwave, fridge, a spacious kitchen, and other essentials. I didn’t cook during my stay—I bought food from Tai O instead. Nonetheless, it was super convenient for me since I like to go slow and enjoy things at my own pace.
Note that a membership fee of 150 HKD is required, and there’s also a refundable deposit of 500 HKD, unless you damage something on the property.
Karen and Mark were super nice—I had a great chat with both of them!

MM318177****The room was pretty good. If you want a window, you need to communicate that in advance. I stayed for four days, and the front desk staff were all very nice. The housekeeping service was also good; no one disturbed me. It's suitable for travelers, and it's right at Exit D2 of Tsim Sha Tsui.

JJenslieThe staff is very sweet and welcoming. The location is also very close to the station. The capsule is just perfect it has dim lights, charging ports, do not disturb signs and it’s super clean. The bathrooms have hair dryers, give you health kit. It’s just perfect. However, to store the luggage you need to what’s app them and pay 55 HKD via the link they sent.

GGuest UserIGNORE ALL OTHER REVIEWS. fantastic for the price. great location. very friendly staff and they work very hard. they do more cleaning in a day than some hotels do in a month. bathrooms are a bit small, but this is Hong Kong. Area around is quiet enough and loads to do around the area. showers have complimentary soap and shampoo. considering the price, they really do give you as much as they can. I read many silly and unfair reviews for this place. They have been nothing but polite with me. Someone even accused them of ****** in other reviews but that's completely ridiculous. Another wrote they couldn't find it, but I found it from the metro in about 2 minutes. They are very hands on and try their best. 100% if I brought 2-3 friends to Hong Kong I'd definitely consider this place again.
MM5864****The hotel is right next to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, and it's only a 10-minute walk to K11, Avenue of Stars, and Victoria Harbour, which is incredibly convenient. The room isn't huge, but it's clean and the service is great. There are security cameras downstairs, so it feels very safe. I'll definitely choose this place again when I come back to Hong Kong. They even provide adapters and toiletries. I highly recommend it to my friends!

IiamvnsPleasant stay! Met with some of the staff and they were very kind, helpful and polite. Though language barrier exist, we used translations app & all was good.
Room was comfortable, though it does not have windows - so do take note on ventilation absence. Depending on the roommates, thankfully for mine, they maintain proper hygiene practices and kept the room clean.
Cons: tend to be loud when they are on phone calls, would have prefer some rules and regulations to having the call outside the room.
The location is very convenient ✨ near the metro station, near the mosques & loads of halal restaurants for a Muslim. A good area for city walks and roaming around HK.

LLuna SYThe room the we had was small for 2 pax but it was okay since we only use the room for sleeping since most of the time we are outside touring.
It is budget friendly and location wise. MTR is just a minute away while for the Bus stop it is less than 5 minutes of walk. There is also someone who change our towels and garbage bag daily.
The building is old but quiet and there is no long wait in the elevator.
The owner was nice too.
I highly recommend this place for those who are not high maintenance or very picky. If we go back to HK, we will definitely book here again.

GGuest UserExtremely convenient location. Tower A has a longer queue for the lift, so be warned of long wait times especially close to midnight. Area can be messy in the day since tower A is nearest to the entrance, but I didn’t see anything of concern.
Hostel manager is nice to include a disposable bath towel, disposable toothpaste and toothbrush, and water cup.

GGuest UserAs a person who has visited more than 30 countries, I think I am relevant in writing reviews. This is the worst hotel I've ever visited, you literally have nowhere to turn, nothing more than four square meters. The TV was broken (I certainly wouldn't have turned it on), there are no windows and you feel claustrophobic. It's in the Indian building, which stinks a lot. If you decide to take the fire escape because the elevator is slow, you will only regret it later, because the stink will leave a lasting impression on you. Instead of remembering Hong Kong as an unforgettable adventure, I will remember it for a smelly building and a bad apartment. My recommendation, if you need to be a little far from the city or pay a little more, but this is definitely not worth it.
