Traveling solo, I really didn't want to share a room, so this single room was perfect. The location is super convenient; it's practically a two or three-minute walk from the subway station. There are also plenty of food options nearby, and it's very close to Tongda Restaurant and London Restaurant. Plus, there are street food stalls right outside the hotel every evening.

My experience at the hostel was pleasant. I stayed at a double room for 3 nights. Location wise it’s a little bit far from the MTR stations. It’s pretty clean but everything’s a bit time-worn. The bathroom doesn’t really dry so there were some drain flies, which was not desirable but understandable. The bed was harder than I would like but I made do covering it with another blanket from the other bed that I was not using. One big issue was that the power outlets were at the desk instead of next to the beds like most hotels and it was really inconvenient. Another troublesome thing is that you must bring the bed, pillow and duvet covers when you check out. That was pretty difficult as I needed to bring two portions of that on my own. Didn’t know it came with breakfast vouchers at the restaurant and I got to try it once. It was not bad for a free breakfast. Not sure if I would pay to eat there.

The owner is super cool, and their friends are lovely too! I came here during the May Day holiday to check out what's apparently the only gay-friendly hostel in Hong Kong. There were so many handsome guys around, it was totally worth the trip. I really hope the owner's business grows bigger and bigger, so they can eventually upgrade to a place like the Homey Inn (or a similar bigger, more established hostel), and have even more fun times!

Had to do late check in, and the hotel was swift in responding with self check in details. Best part is the location, just opposite Kowloon Park to have an early morning stroll, and accessible to food and bars nearby too. Just 10 mins via metro from Kowloon West train station too.

This hotel offers great value for money. I went alone during Chinese New Year, and it was the cheapest option I could find in a decent location (excluding Chungking Mansions). However, I'd recommend booking directly there rather than online, as it might be even cheaper. The location is incredibly convenient, but the bathroom facilities are quite basic and a bit difficult for washing, though still manageable.

This hostel is super convenient, located right in Tsim Sha Tsui. Just exit A1 from the MTR and cross the road, and you're there! I stayed in room 1302 of Haiphong Mansion. The owner who checked me in was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. On the first day, she arranged for us to stay on the 9th floor in an 8-person room. The beds were clean, and the bedding was comfortable. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Hong Kong.

It’s a good place to stay for people who want to escape from crowded city life and enjoying tranquility of mountain with ocean views. The only matter is the transportation… although they provide free shuttle buses… it’s has a limited schedule. We need to call taxi beyond the limited schedule, especially at night time and week days. Highly recommended.

You get what you paid for. For that price. It's considered ok for that location with that kind of arrangement. HK is known for space scarcity and high price. Many shops nearby. Phone shop at ground floor selling various second hand phones with reasonable price. Many food shops available. Opposite got ladies market. Pity The receptionist. The working environment and the amount of pressure for a period of long time had turned her into emotionally and mentally unstable person with frequent up & down for no reason. You give phone or passport, she kind of throw back to you. You speak English, she speak mandarin, you speak mandarin, she speak English. Pity her, nobody to help her. Maybe she even not getting her pay properly. Who knows. So don't focus on her, focus on your purpose, that's a bed for you. She is IT expert will WhatsApp to you all the passwords and bed details. Make your life pretty easy.

Great location, very convenient for transportation and lots of food options. Easy to get anywhere. Downstairs and nearby, there are delicious wonton noodles, fish ball soup, pizza, and more. It's also convenient to take a taxi to Victoria Peak, and close to Causeway Bay and Lan Kwai Fong. The location is truly excellent!

LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel. Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch. Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget. We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us. The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

이규진My intention has been fully revealed. This is not a matter of money, but my right. I canceled it but refused to refund it. Don't avoid it, and if I reveal my intention, I will act accordingly. She said that I don't understand the total 110 Hong Kong dollar deposit due to tax, but she told me that this is Korean, don't you know? Later, she said that she would return 100 Hong Kong dollars excluding tax. I understood. I made my intention clear. I don't have Hong Kong dollars right now because I am waiting for transfer, so I will leave my passport or if that doesn't work, I will pick up the money at the ATM. However, my English speaking skills were not good enough to express it. That's why I needed a mobile phone interpretation application. I showed my charging cable and asked for charging, saying that my phone only charges 1%, but at the reception, I started raising my voice, saying that I couldn't understand the story of the deposit, saying that I couldn't charge it. In the meantime, I tried to communicate using the interpretation application, but the phone was turned off at that moment. I asked for charging again, but I didn't accept it. I raised my voice in this part Without listening to my opinion at all, she showed me an interpreted screen, saying, ”I don't understand the contents of the deposit tax,” and again she mocked me, saying, ”This is Korean, but I don't understand.” While checking in, she heard someone talk to her on the phone. Maybe she was a guest trying to check in. He was wandering around on the sixth floor, and while someone was rushing her, he heard her hang up and say a little swear word, maybe she didn't feel good. I tried to understand that her mind was going to be hard, but the anger came back to me. When I raised my voice, she shouted, ”Call the police.” I asked to call because I wasn't at fault, and then another employee started mediating with me, and I stopped being angry for myself because I was tired from the long trip. It may not have been easy at this point, but if she had apologized to me, I would not have canceled it. But there was no apology, and I showed her the cancellation screen and agreed. This is the whole story of the incident, and when I took turns asking another guest, she told me that she was just an employee and that the big white man who was sitting next to me was the boss. I was surprised once more Under those circumstances, the white man had no intervention or explanation at all. I request the hostel! The cancellation is my intention, but admit that it is 100% of the problem with the hostel's response to make it so. And I ask for a refund. This amount is 25000 won in Hong Kong dollars, 150 dollars in Hong Kong dollars, 19 dollars in U.S. dollars, 2500 yen in Chinese yuan, 19 yuan in Indian rupees, 19 yuan in Indian rupees. I will skip it any more. This is not a matter of money, it is a matter of my pride. I know this message can be checked by you at the desk in real time. Make a clear decision at 30 minutes whether it is positive or negative. I ask again. Do not avoid it, but make an accurate decision. And I ask for a respectful apology.

XXS YangLocation Inside Haiphong Mansion, right in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui. Harbour City, Nathan Road, Kowloon Park, and the Star Ferry are all within walking distance. The MTR station is just minutes away, making it easy to explore both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Room & Comfort I stayed for three nights. The single room is very tiny and has no window, but it feels cozy if you don’t mind the compact space. Linens were fresh, the layout efficient, and the air-conditioning was excellent — strong and reliable, which made the stay comfortable. The toilet was clean, and there was a multi-type power socket by the bed, great if you forget to bring a travel adapter. If you’re tall, the bed may feel restrictive as you can’t fully stretch out your legs. Amenities Facilities are simple: air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. No kettle in the room. Guests receive a single-use towel, shampoo, and shower gel every day, which keeps things hygienic and straightforward. Room slippers and bathroom slippers are provided. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable. Outside the room, there’s a water dispenser (hot and room-temperature only, no cold water) and a microwave oven free to use. Hot water for showering is available anytime. Hangers and a hair dryer are provided. Daily room cleaning is carried out, which keeps the space fresh. With plenty of food nearby, dining is easy and varied. Check-in Late check-in is allow here till 1am but after 12am need to inform the owner early. The front desk isn’t 24-hour, so arrivals after normal hours require coordination. This can be inconvenient for late-night travelers, but manageable if arranged in advance. Service The owner is genuinely nice and friendly, which makes a big difference in a guesthouse setting. Staff were helpful, making the process smooth once checked in. Allow to store your baggage before check in and out so you can explore in peace. Atmosphere The surrounding streets are lively, while the inn itself feels cozy. Some noise may filter through, but overall the vibe is casual and welcoming — closer to a homestay than a hotel chain. Building & Access The lift system in Haiphong Mansion is split between odd and even floors. Joyce Inn is located on the 5th floor, so you’ll need to use the lift serving odd-numbered levels. Verdict Joyce Inn is about location and value. Clean, affordable, and right in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui’s energy. Best suited for solo travelers or couples who prioritize convenience over amenities. My three-night stay was comfortable overall — I appreciated the daily room cleaning, the fresh toiletries, the friendly owner, the strong air-conditioning, the clean toilet, the multi-type socket by the bed, the fast Wi-Fi, the abundance of food nearby, the free microwave oven, the provided slippers, the hot shower anytime, and the hanger and hair dryer. The price was about 80 SGD per night, which is acceptable, though I do hope it could be a little cheaper. The single room’s size and lack of window may not suit everyone, especially taller guests, but it worked well for me.

JJiaowonanshenjiuhaoleI had heard that hotels in Hong Kong were small and expensive, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, and the room was larger than I anticipated, even featuring a big and a small bed. Plus, the large window offered a great view directly onto Nathan Road. I'm very satisfied.

ZZiyouThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right at the intersection of Argyle Street and Tung Choi Street, and just a stone's throw from Mong Kok MTR station. The A21 airport bus stop is also right on Nathan Road. The rooms are fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner is warm and attentive.

GGuest UserThe worker was genuinely kind and incredibly helpful. The facilities, however, were subpar. There was only one proper accessible shower, and the other required walking through a toilet area - meaning anyone using the toilet could access the shower. Space was extremely tight overall, so it’s not ideal for anyone who values comfortable room to shower or do anything that requires a bathroom. Very very tight space in the bathroom area, however they provided free toothbrushes and earplugs. The lobby and rooms were well set up with head towels and clean blankets in the bedroom, and the Japanese-style lobby was a pleasant touch. The lockers were secure with keypad access. I do recommend this if you intend to stay for one night as there’s a convenience store below, easy access to the MRT, very close proximity to the water front, and a Starbucks within 5 minutes walk.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, with a subway station right downstairs. We arrived at West Kowloon by high-speed rail and it was just one subway stop away. In the evening, it's a seven-minute walk to Victoria Harbour to see the night view and take the Star Ferry. There are also many shopping malls and restaurants nearby; the curry fish balls are incredibly delicious! The room was small, but for Hong Kong, in this location, it's quite good. The room was very clean, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. The room was tidied daily, and our belongings were neatly arranged. A big plus was the water dispenser, allowing us to fill our water bottles every day, as buying water in Hong Kong can be expensive. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay.

CChiapanecoSimple and clean place to stay. Fantastic location in Kowloon, near everything on that side. Fantastic wifi. Comfortable beds with curtain. There is hot/cool drinking water. No common area. Guests are mostly mainland Chinese. Be aware of the check-in process before booking!! If you don't already have an active and unblocked WeChat account, I suggest you do not book here. - Host does not respond to Trip.com messaging. Only via WeChat (but not a WeChat account linked to the phone number in the booking confirmation) - To find the WeChat code for check-in, locate ”Tsimshatsui Mansion” on Google maps. When you arrive, find elevator #1 or #2 (see attached map), and go to the 8th floor. Other elevators won't access the room - only use those two elevators! - Once you reach the door, scan the WeChat code, send them a screenshot of your booking confirmation, and within a few minutes they'll send you the codes. (I've attached a picture of the WeChat code.) - Be advised that WeChat is incredibly difficult for many foreigners to set up. It's not a simple app like WhatsApp or Line. You often need to find a person with a mainland WeChat account (not a HK account) to authenticate you, though even that fails sometimes. Don't wait until you're at the door to try to make an account. - Without Wechat, I'm not sure if you can check-in. There was one non-Chinese guest who stood outside for a while trying to set up WeChat, until a kind neighbor happened to pass by and scanned the WeChat code for her. - Host could simply send the check-in codes via Trip.com messaging. It would make their life a lot easier and things incredibly better for non-Chinese guests. I recommend they change to doing this.

AAnonymous UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and overall, it was an excellent experience that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional service provided by the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the front desk personnel were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful in answering all my questions. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, with soft linens and quality pillows that made it easy to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including complimentary toiletries, a well-stocked minibar, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi. The room design was modern and elegant, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the hotel’s cleanliness and attention to detail. Housekeeping did an excellent job maintaining the room daily, ensuring everything was tidy and fresh. The common areas such as the lobby, hallways, and dining spaces were equally well-kept, which reflected the hotel’s commitment to high standards. The hotel’s facilities were also impressive. The restaurant served a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the breakfast selection was especially satisfying, offering both local and international options. The amenities, including the fitness center and other recreational facilities, were well-equipped and convenient for guests who want to relax or stay active. In terms of location, the hotel is very convenient and accessible. It is situated near key attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. Despite being centrally located, the environment remained peaceful and comfortable. What truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional customer service. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests felt comfortable and valued. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to assist made a significant difference in my overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service. It offers great value for money and provides a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to my next visit.
