I visited Haikou with friends during the National Day holiday and met the hospitable and lovely landlady on the very first day. She treated us to drinks and delicious food. We all chatted and had a great time :D The landlady is beautiful and kind, and her sister is also very pretty and cheerful. Both are very talkative and knowledgeable. It was a fantastic stay! The rooms have private bathrooms, and the dorm beds have curtains for privacy. Everyone was warm and interesting, and I met some lovely fellow travelers. The location is also excellent. You can walk to Haida Night Market, and there are many restaurants offering delicious food and a wide variety of goods. Taxis are easy to catch, and if you walk a bit further from the entrance, there's a bus stop, making transportation very convenient. I highly recommend everyone to visit! The best Banana (referring to the hostel name)! It's a pity I didn't take many photos. So, I'll just show the character '好' (good) that I left behind while playing games with a cute little girl I met at Banana, and the delicious meal made by an amazing young lady from Chongqing, haha. Words can't fully express how wonderful Banana is; everyone should come and experience it for themselves!

This is the only island-inspired backpacker hostel in Dadonghai area. The location is very strategic as it is just 6-8 minutes walk to the beach, surrounded by many restaurants and retail stores while still being tucked in a secluded area. You instantly feel like you are in a surfing beach hostel. All the staff are very very very friendly and helpful. On weekends, they have a morning DJ playing EDM music while guests are having breakfast and coffee which makes the vibe more exciting. If you are coming to Sanya on a budget but wanna be close to the beach, this place is truly the best choice for you. Very good value for money.

A highly recommended youth hostel, ideally situated alongside the Century Bridge, it's close to Century Park, Haidian Island's North and South Gate Night Market, Xitian Temple Snack Street, the Qilou Historical Pedestrian Street, Dongpo Old Wharf, Sky Inn, Haikou Bay Evergreen Park, Friendship Sunshine City, and Shangbang Parkview City. Both electric bikes and bicycles take just over 10 to 20 minutes to reach, making it a central hub for food, accommodation, and entertainment. It's also conveniently located near Haikou East Station and Chengxi Station, where you can take a taxi to the airport or the New Haikou Port in just over 10 minutes for a little over 10 yuan. A bus is also available from the nearby Citizen and Tourist Service Center. From the windows, you can enjoy the beautiful ocean view and the romantic afterglow of sunsets and sunrises. My visit to Haikou truly impressed me with the city's rapid transformation: its increasingly sophisticated transportation infrastructure, its vibrant urban life, and its increasingly civilized urban order. Although Haikou lacks the prosperity and development of a major city, it offers a sense of freedom and tranquility that comes with retiring from the countryside, a sense of peace and tranquility for a short stay. This seemingly unassuming small city offers us a warm, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, allowing those tired of the hustle and bustle of the city to reflect on the meaning of life in this peaceful place, understanding that life is not just about work, but also about living. This city is for passionate, free-spirited people, and is a perfect place for everyone to find their own happy haven. Finally, I hope our Haikou will continue to improve, and I also hope that the youth hostel business will be prosperous and smooth sailing.

I stayed here for 5 days in the off season. Booked a single room, price was decent. The bed was comfortable, it had a desk for me to work during the day. There's a gym on the ground level that honestly has all the equipment I needed, a rare thing in these parts. The owner is from dongbei and was super friendly, he treated us to baijiu and frozen pears (dongbei). This was a great spot to chill out for a while and relax. I should probably mention that my Mandarin is pretty good. I met another traveller that could speak English but other than that you might need to whip out the ol goog translate. I needed to move on otherwise I would've stayed here longer, great place!

It can only be said that it is a minimalist rough style, but the cost is relatively low for a popular location. It is indeed a bit far from the beach, mainly because there are roads being built nearby, so the surrounding environment is not that good. The rest depends mainly on personal preference. The psychological expectations are average, and the price is acceptable.

Facilities: Well-equipped, with a safe for valuables. Environment: Clean and tidy. Hygiene: Clean; the owner cleans daily. Service: Good. A complimentary yacht trip is included with a three-night stay: For a price of just over twenty yuan per night, this is an incredible deal for a three-night stay. Transportation is provided, and there are several free activities available on the yacht's first floor. Lunch is also included.

The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow, just awful. Everything else was fine, but someone was snoring so loudly, like thunder. It was really noisy. I don't get it, maybe it was a long-term guest. They should have put them in a double room.

Last year, I stayed at the back door alone. This week, the school was on holiday, so I brought two friends to stay at the back door again. Ayisha even came to the high-speed rail station to pick us up🥹 The little guitar teacher who patiently drew henna for us and sang beautifully🦋 The career-oriented big woman Qingjie, a charming woman who said she was an i person but was very enthusiastic and cheerful🕳️ The sweet and cute Guangdong sister who took photos for me when we went out to sea. The fat guy from Northeast China who used a drone to record our trip to the sea (I don’t know what his name is, so I call him the fat guy from Northeast China, private Marseille😅) and Tom, the cute and clingy cat at the youth hostel! Many, many lovely friends, everyone is very nice, very nice We went out together, had dinner, danced, went to Meimen to drink coffee, surfed, went out to sea, snorkeled, and took a lot of photos hahahahahaha Many, many memories, crazy laughter, drunkenness, and the feeling of loss on the plane at this moment I think I might come back to stay at the back door once a year? If I come again next year, I will bring my other friends with me so that they can also experience the happy and unforgettable group activities. Although the souvenirs left by the island this time are tanned skin, bruised and swollen calves from surfing, injured fingers, and darker dark circles under my eyes, hahahahahahaha, but I am really happy! 👋🏻Goodbye, see you next year

It's quieter. Except for the rooster crow at 6 o'clock in the morning, the air conditioning can be turned on all day in the room. The location is closer to Boao Town and further away from Tanmen Town. We mainly eat in Boao Town. For public transportation, it is better to travel within the shared electric vehicle service area. Public transportation is better. There are quite a lot of shared electric vehicles on the roadside. They cost 2.5 yuan for the first 15 minutes and 1 yuan for every 10 minutes thereafter. The waiting time for the bus is too long, there are few stops, and the cost is 3 to 5 yuan for distances. After checking out, go to the bus station. I took bus No. 13 to Boao Station. I waited for half an hour at the bus stop. During this period, a taxi asked for 30 yuan, and the lowest price was 20 yuan. Bus 83 came first, and I asked the driver for 6 yuan to get to Boao Railway Station. It was not a complete route. It was at Boao Station, but there was no one taking the bus on the road, so the driver changed the route and only picked me up. It was pretty good, it only took half an hour to get there, and I also reserved an extra two hours for taking the high-speed rail.
