"The room had a separate table and chairs and a very large wardrobe. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was clean and hygienic with a beautiful and comfortable environment. The service was especially excellent; the front desk staff promptly resolved any issues I might have. Although I don't speak English, they were very patient and supportive. Thank you."

WiFi not working we called reception they said we will bring new code to your room, we said we just got a code downstairs an hour ago and that was working staff said manager likes to change the code. WHAT! WHY?! That’s annoying keep changing code. However the code never came to our room. 45 min later we are in bed reception calls our room asking if we still need heater ? What a joke ! Phone in room is not dialing the reception so we had to keep going down the stairs if we needed something."

Eden Self Catering Chalets Hotels in Windhoek

Eden Self Catering Chalets

"We stayed at Eden Chalets (outside Windhoek) on 7 Sept 2024, on our way to Sesriem in the south of Namibia. We slept in Sable chalet, consisting of a kitchen, lounge (with TV), bedroom, en suite bathroom and a spacious veranda. We watched the match between the Springboks and the All Blacks at the bar / restaurant. Dinner was very tasty. Our stay there was very enjoyable and relaxing. We can honestly recommend Eden Chalets for more than one day's stay over. Win and Jose Vieira"

Guesthouse Terra Africa Hotels in Windhoek

Guesthouse Terra Africa

"We stayed here on the first day of our tour and again on the last. The rooms are fine and the breakfast is extensive. The garden is beautiful but could use some updating. Some chairs are broken and the pool looks dirty. The staff is helpful and friendly. We wanted to go into the “town” and they arranged a taxi service with Simon. He takes you there and picks you up because the guesthouse is too far to walk. We had lunch once. They have a small menu."

Windhoek Game Camp Hotels in Windhoek

Windhoek Game Camp

"We were kindly greated by the host during arrival. Already in advance the contact via Whatsapp was always nice and helpfull. We booked a GameDrive in Okapuka with them and this was well organised as well. The breakfast was great and meeting the girafes was truly amazing. Dinner was great. The two hosts speak german as well and were very kind and came by to ask how we are which made us feel welcome. The rooms are amazing. The view and the tent style made it an amazing start into our trip. Can totally recommend! "

Droombos Hotels in Windhoek

Droombos

"Great location and not too far from the airport. Staff were super friendly. The rooms were beautifully decorated but seriously - why on earth would you have a bathroom without a door?? Seemed deliberate as neither of the two rooms we occupied had one. A nightmare for teenage children and just really odd."

Hotel Pension Casa Africana Hotels in Windhoek

Hotel Pension Casa Africana

"Wonderful hospitality, the staff went out of their way to welcome us and even gave us a packed breakfast to take to the airport as we checked out before breakfast was served."

Hotel Uhland Hotels in Windhoek

Hotel Uhland

"I stayed at Hotel Uhland in Windhoek for four weeks with colleagues during a business trip, and it was an excellent experience overall. The rooms and all the facilities were always very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay each day. The staff at the hotel were consistently friendly and went out of their way to help with anything we needed, whether it was local recommendations or assistance with plans for weekends. The hotel’s relaxed atmosphere was perfect after long workdays, and it’s clear that guest comfort and satisfaction are a priority here. I truly appreciated how attentive and accommodating the staff were throughout our stay. If you are visiting Windhoek for business or leisure, I highly recommend Hotel Uhland for its great service, cleanliness, and friendly team"

Etango Ranch Guest Farm Hotels in Windhoek

Etango Ranch Guest Farm

"This is a great hotel with a lovely setting. They offer free dinner and live ostriches. Although it's a farm stay, it's very clean. It's very close to the airport, a 10-minute drive away, and the hotel offers a reasonably priced airport transfer."

Hillside Executive Accommodation Hotels in Windhoek

"Standard facility. Great location. Near to the international airport road. Breakfast was disappointing. Not advisable to include breakfast when booking. Otherwise, all other facilities were okay."

"During my stay, the shower was leaking and basic amenities were missing. I had to request the amenities three times before they were finally provided. Considering the price, the level of service was disappointing."

"The sheets and pillowcases in the room seemed to have never been changed. It is recommended to bring disposable pillowcases and dirty sheets, or sleep in your clothes. Why did I choose this hotel? It's not because it's cheap, because I'm traveling alone, I can make friends, and I can travel together. As a result, no one came to share the room with me for 2 days. There is a supermarket nearby, but the price is expensive. You can take a taxi to the big supermarket in the city center to buy things. There are cheap and fresh things. Taxis are cheap, prepare change, they don't accept US dollars. The exchange rate at the airport is a little worse than the money exchange places in the city. If you want to change 50 to 100 US dollars, change it at the airport. It's more than 2 kilometers from the hotel. There are many places with slopes in the city. It is recommended to call a taxi and negotiate the price before getting on the car."

"I chose this hotel because it's right next to the shuttle bus stop for the Namib Desert. The property is quite large, and it's a bit of a trek with heavy luggage from the entrance where the security guard is. It's essentially designed for travelers with cars, allowing you to park right next to your room. The room amenities and cleanliness are perfectly adequate. The restaurant food is also delicious. If they just added a convenience store or a small shop, you could pretty much do everything you need within the hotel itself."

"It took quite a while to walk to the supermarket. Also, there was construction going on during the day. There was a toilet that didn't lock. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable."

Auas City Hotel ★★★
"Hotel is on the outskirts of Windhoek near a mall, with limited nearby dining options. Rooms are cramped but ok. Check in is a bit slow and they’re strict on the check in time. Only 1 key provided which was annoying with a shared room. Dinner and breakfast and the bar were great. Free water bottles were appreciated. Would consider this hotel again if I don’t need to be in the city centre."
