"This Ctrip agent is very bad! Failure to transfer the money to the hotel resulted in us being overcharged by the hotel for more than 1,000 yuan! After we looked at the bill and found out, he also said it was the hotel's problem. We called the hotel across the ocean, and the hotel clearly informed us that it had not received the room fee paid by the agent! It’s been over a month now and still no refund!"

"Great location and amazing views from 64th floor but very dated rooms. Also issues with iron, safe and no towels. Reception not good at dealing with questions. Overcharged for an expense which they agreed to bear and not happy as we had checked our bank and only found out by accident."

"The room is quite big. The reception hall is a bit dark. Not atmospheric. But the facilities in the room and the room size are much newer than the Holiday Inn directly opposite. I see a lot of flight attendants living here. The hall of the Holiday Inn is bright and brand new. The room is very general. Both hotels have shuttle bus to the airport. It is very convenient."

"The Aloft Detroit is a beautiful hotel! Everyone was so nice & very professional, so friendly and very helpful. They made you feel very special. It is in a great location, right across from Tiger Stadium & Ford Field, and only 1/2 mile from Little Caesars Arena. Lots of great restaurants withing walking distance. The rooms were very nice, exceptionally clean and the beds were so comfortable. Will absolutely be staying at the Aloft again!"

"We chose this hotel because we wanted clear views of the river fireworks, as well as enjoy a nice hotel experience. Our room was on the 17th floor with breathtaking views! Check-in was seamless and the front desk staff was helpful. The fireworks display was amazing! The only downside of our evening were our very loud neighbors. They were slamming doors, screaming and shouting until 1:30 a.m. which did not allow us a good night sleep at all. We did call the front desk on two occasions, but the neighbors were only quiet for a short amount of time and then went right back at it. For the price of the room, we were disappointed and would hesitate to do it again. Overall, a great hotel for views, location, and staff, but caution for loud guests."
