We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

Location is really Good if you want to Roam Around Davao city Close to the mall and Shops, Staffs are Friendly,kind,Respectful.We enjoy our stay at the Hotel, the food from the Breakfast Buffet really taste good. The pool is relaxing Good for the kids to Chill from the hot weather outside. Maybe just Clean a bit the Window curtains coz it's a Bit Dusty , Overall experience is awesome.

It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. I had a good stay at Grand Regal Hotel. The hotel is a decent place to stay, especially if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing. The pool area was actually one of the highlights… clean, spacious, and great for unwinding after a long day. However, the location is a bit inconvenient since it’s quite far from malls, convenience stores and other establishments. The rooms were also a little old and could use some renovation or upgrades. Overall, it’s a good hotel with nice amenities and friendly atmosphere, but not the best option if you prefer modern rooms and easy access to shopping or city attractions.

I enjoyed staying in this place although the flat was a little hard to find, make sure that you connect with the landlord first :)

Great. Value for money. Clean and friendly staff. However i am having a hard time contacting them through their mobile number but the rest are okay.

We stayed at Crown Regency Residences for a week, and overall it was a great choice—especially for budget travelers with kids. One of the biggest highlights was the unlimited pool access until 10 PM every day, which our family really enjoyed. It made a huge difference in keeping the kids entertained without needing to go out and spend extra. The place offers hotel-like service, and the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. While the building itself does show its age and could use some updates, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you’re traveling as a family and looking for something affordable with good amenities, this is definitely a place worth considering. Despite its older appearance, I would still choose to stay here again for a budget-friendly family trip.

The location is great, close to everything, but the main issue is their checkout time. It's only until 10 AM, even though it said 12 PM on ***********. Then, you're suddenly hit with a 398 cleaner's fee, which wasn't mentioned on *********** either. You also have to pay a 1K deposit, and when you get there, you have to wait for the owner's confirmation. If I had known all this, I would have just booked a hotel directly, where you don't have to pay a cleaner's fee.
