Hotels with Pools in Rethymno

This is an excellent hotel located right in the old town of Rethymno. It was easy to explore the charming streets on foot, and the central bus station—perfect for day trips—was just a 10-minute walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to share local tips and recommendations, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast offered a classic continental selection, including fresh eggs, sausages, bread, pastries, and fruits. Everything was fresh and satisfying. While the swimming pool is on the smaller side, it was a lovely bonus and a great spot to cool off after a day of sightseeing. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Rethymno.

This hotel was amazing. One of my top 3 favorites in Crete. I highly recommend staying here. I only wish I stayed two nights here. Definitely worth it. Breakfast read included and an amazing selection. They even gave me a little gift when checking out. I would remove this to anyone coming to Crete.

The hotel is very new, with good facilities, and meets the five-star standard. The location is also very good, right by the sea, opposite the beach is nice, there are two swimming pools in the hotel, the children had a lot of fun playing in the water. The hotel I booked included two meals, the taste was great, very satisfied. The fee for one more child is 48 euros. It is reasonable according to its facilities, I hope to have the opportunity to go there again next time.

Absolutely recommended! Archipelagos is a wonderful hotel with a great location and a beautiful sea view. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was very good, and the overall atmosphere was lovely. At the beginning, we had a few small issues with the room, but we spoke with the reception and they quickly helped us by changing the room. We really appreciated their support and professionalism. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back. The view over the sea is truly amazing!

We stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach. Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.

Le personnel est accueillant et disponible. L’électricité dans la chambre a une certaine instabilité. Le personnel est très réactif. Le petit déjeuner est très correct. L’hôtel est agréable. Le parking est très proche et pratique. La chambre est correcte quand bien même quelques finitions seraient appréciables. L’emplacement est proche de tavernes (éviter taverna Yanis…, piège à touristes), des boutiques de souvenirs. Le quartier, pourtant excentré, est une cité balnéaire. Difficile, à Rethymnon semble-t-il (outre le centre historique) de se trouver ailleurs que dans une cité balnéaire qui n’a pas réellement de charme et d’habitants.

Intenté contactar con ellos através de trip y nunca tuve respuesta. Cogimos la júnior suite y en ningún lado ponía que tuviera 2 plantas así que muy mal. Ya que en la planta arriba hay poca luz y no hay ventana. Para colmo tienes el aire acondicionado a medio metro de la cama por lo tanto el ruido no te deja descansar. Mal insonorizada hay una night club enfrente y se escucha todo. La limpieza muy regular y el desayuno igual. Solo destacaría la amabilidad del señor de la recepción y la ubicación. Pero no volvería. Eso sí en el restaurante se come bien.

Alle Mitarbeiter da sind sehr nett und freundlich. Das Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Man kann viel im Hotel machen, Spa, Billiards, Kartenspiele, schwimmen usw. Es gibt sogar zwei Schwimmbäder. Das Essen war auch top. Man hat viele Auswahl beim Buffet. Und das Menu beim Abendessenbuffet ändert sich auch immer. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch mega gut. 2 Min zum Strand. Gleich neben dran gibt es Bushaltestellen und Mini-Supermarkt.

The Hotel is located at a 25 min walking distance from the old town. There is no on site parking. The nearest free parking is 10 to 12 mins by walk. The family room is not appropriately designed. The main bed is in a loft with no ventilation or air conditioner. The toilet is very small. The breakfast at the restaurant is very sparse. Expected much better. This is not a value for money hotel.

Great place to stay. Even had a small kitchen in the room. Acces to 3 swimingpools and right next to the beach. Friendly staff and rarely heard any noise from outside. Bars, supermarkets, restaurants and ofcourse the beach right outside the hotel. Will come again.
