Great
GGuest UserIt’s overall quite outdated, but I feel like that is the charm of this hotel. I loved the location and easy access to everything. Very walkable.
Only downside is just the homeless population around the corner at the park. But homeless problem is prevalent around the city. I didn’t feel particularly unsafe as a solo female traveler.
Service was great and I probably wouldn’t mind staying there again.
ZZora69The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is a simple American meal.
The flight was delayed and we were able to check in quickly in the middle of the night. We helped to solve accommodation problems. It is worth recommending
Zzhaozhao222The hotel room is very nice, clean and refreshing. The security is also good, and the parking service also avoids the worry of windows being smashed. Because the hotel is right on the street, parking is in the dedicated hotel parking lot.
KKamamo BailonHotel was a smaller limited service boutique hotel. Locating was great for our needs (Trailblazers game) as we we're only a few minutes away from the Moda Center. The hotel is a minimalists dream. The room come across a a college dorm room, but is clean and uncluttered. It had a restaurant bar in the lobby with a Korean inspired menu. The bar draws locals from the area and had a really good vibe. Parking is $50 per night, but there options such as street parking with totals about $20 a day (Strange street parking rates...well strange to me at least 🤣) or parking garages near by for about half the cost of the hotel parking. The room rate was an awesome plus and the location made it a no brainer for us.
UuyoacThe staff is very friendly. The parking lot is in the public parking lot at different entrances of the same building. It is a bit ”unfriendly” that the overnight charge for the public parking lot is $28, but it costs $35 to apply at the hotel. It may be that there is ”service” in it. Overall it is quite good.
GGuest UserOne word: Perfect !
Without doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed without spending a LOT more money. I had a wonderful corner room with loads of light, amenities were outstanding: comfortable bed, big bathroom with good water pressure, amenity kit (see pic), huge TV (which, unlike many hotels was easy to operate), sensible light switches, plenty of power outlets, inc USB on each side of the bed for phone charging, soft robes, excellent plunger coffee maker, fridge, in-room safe, etc etc. I honestly couldnt fault anything. Staff were very good. Bar and restaurant were also very good. I only wish I had more then 2 nights there. Wonderful stay.
MMENGJIEThis hotel is an older hotel, the environment is clean and tidy, next to a river and park (can borrow a bicycle from the hotel) to eat this piece is separate, my favorite is afternoon tea, sunshine, scenery, food. Breakfast is also good, very American. If you don't eat here, go to a farther place to eat. It is recommended to stay here to rent or rent a car. There are no shops to walk around. You can't buy a bottle of water. This is not very convenient. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from the city center, not far from the airport. Our morning flight has been open for 20 minutes. I didn't do the spa because it was closed at 6 pm. I think it takes a child, the bed is big, and the room is large. There is a parking lot.
__M1861199****I am writing to formally express my serious concern and disappointment regarding the handling of my personal belongings left in the refrigerator during my recent stay at your hotel.
We stayed at Hilton Portland Downtown from December 23 to December 24, occupying Rooms 416 and 417. Upon checkout, a full box of prescription medications was accidentally left inside the refrigerator in one of the rooms.
I want to be very clear about the nature of these items:
The box was full and intact
It contained injectable prescription medications, clearly medical in nature
The medications were stored inside the refrigerator, not left out in the room
These items were obviously not trash and are easy to identify as medical supplies
Given these facts, I find it extremely concerning and unacceptable that:
The items were apparently discarded or mishandled, and
No attempt was made to contact me to confirm whether these medically critical items should be kept.
At a minimum, I would expect hotel staff to recognize that refrigerated injectable medications are not garbage, and that such items require verification with the guest before disposal. The failure to do so reflects a serious lack of care and responsibility, especially considering the medical importance of these medications.
These medications are essential for managing chronic health conditions, and their loss has caused significant distress and inconvenience. This situation could and should have been avoided with a simple phone call.
GGuest UserIt was nice and the staff was friendly !! It's downtown, so accessibility is good. Instead, parking has to be street parking, so it's a bit scary, but there was no problem.
KKirus24Location is fine, but there are a lot of homeless people near hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was really really good. The bad thing is that there is no free parking (they offer $59 valet parking which is super expensive). If you’re lucky you will find some free overnight parking spots near hotel (it’s free from 7pm to 8am). So I would recommend this hotel if you’re traveling without car.
