The lobby has an old-money style, exquisite and grand. During the Christmas season, there's a huge Christmas tree, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The location is convenient; if you rent a car, there's an underground parking garage right next door with direct access to the hotel. There's a famous steakhouse on the first floor of the hotel—they offer free Starbucks coffee every morning—the service is excellent, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. I ate steak on the first floor, and because the chef cooked it medium-well instead of medium, the waiter waived my bill (but the restaurant's taste was too ordinary; I wouldn't recommend it).

Extremely disappointed in my stay. They refunded my amenities fee but that’s really not good enough when that room was clearly dirty.  Dirty rooms and broken TV. No body wash in shower. Called and was told they are switching to single serve bottles so they left what was left to use… an EMPTY bottle.  I found medication and food in the room. Indicating they did not throughly clean between stays. Stained towels and hole in the provided robe.  TV DID NOT work.

over charge for requesting early check-in and offered upgrade which was not satisfactory.  Was not welcoming; .no service available.  Said free coffee! went there twice, both times was not available.  There was one person in the lobby to assist customers.  Did not have a great experience as had before.

Easy to go anywhere in Portland, Close by malls and convenience store.

This hotel is an older hotel, the environment is clean and tidy, next to a river and park (can borrow a bicycle from the hotel) to eat this piece is separate, my favorite is afternoon tea, sunshine, scenery, food. Breakfast is also good, very American. If you don't eat here, go to a farther place to eat. It is recommended to stay here to rent or rent a car. There are no shops to walk around. You can't buy a bottle of water. This is not very convenient. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from the city center, not far from the airport. Our morning flight has been open for 20 minutes. I didn't do the spa because it was closed at 6 pm. I think it takes a child, the bed is big, and the room is large. There is a parking lot.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Walking distance from the Moda Center just as I wanted for the Blazers game.

Great hotel. Clean, good location, polite staff, nice design.

Location is fine, but there are a lot of homeless people near hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was really really good. The bad thing is that there is no free parking (they offer $59 valet parking which is super expensive). If you’re lucky you will find some free overnight parking spots near hotel (it’s free from 7pm to 8am). So I would recommend this hotel if you’re traveling without car.

This is such a comfortable hotel, beds and bathtubs are great! Wish that parking was so expensive $40 a night

One word: Perfect ! Without doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed without spending a LOT more money. I had a wonderful corner room with loads of light, amenities were outstanding: comfortable bed, big bathroom with good water pressure, amenity kit (see pic), huge TV (which, unlike many hotels was easy to operate), sensible light switches, plenty of power outlets, inc USB on each side of the bed for phone charging, soft robes, excellent plunger coffee maker, fridge, in-room safe, etc etc. I honestly couldnt fault anything. Staff were very good. Bar and restaurant were also very good. I only wish I had more then 2 nights there. Wonderful stay.
