4-Star Hotels in Cebu City

I stayed alone at One Central Hotel this time, and overall, it was a good value-for-money choice. Its central Cebu City location is very convenient for getting around, with malls and transport hubs nearby, which is a big plus for solo travelers. The room is simple but clean and tidy, and the bed is comfortable enough for a few nights' stay. The biggest highlight was the buffet breakfast; there's a good variety, leaning towards Filipino flavors but with Western options too. It tasted great, and I was satisfied every morning. However, there were some noticeable downsides, such as slow elevators, requiring a wait during peak hours. Soundproofing is average, and I was occasionally disturbed by hallway noise or outside traffic. While the rooftop pool offers nice views, it's quite small, feeling more like an added amenity than a main feature. Overall, this hotel is best suited for solo travelers on a reasonable budget who prioritize convenient transportation. If you have high expectations for hotel quality or quietness, you might find it a bit ordinary.

The hotel is slightly dated, but overall cleanliness is fine. There is a noticeable humid smell when entering the room, and the toilet also has a slight odor. The shower has strong water pressure, which is good, but the water flow from the basin faucet is quite weak. Breakfast offers mostly Filipino dishes, with an egg station and a selection of bread. Night time downstair restaurant you can have your dinner and drinks but they close 10pm .

Nice comfy room to stay in, but they have a problem with the smell from the bathroom, but as they said they are already fixing it. Great staff they respond quickly whenever u need something. They are accomodating and considerate as well for the guests needs.

We booked for a two bedroom unit, but they gave us only one bedroom unit. We needed to pay additional fee just to be transferred to the right room which we booked. In the room, the aircon is so noisy. It blows directly to your face because it’s just beside the bed. You either turn it off to avoid the noise and the inconvenience brought by direct blowing of the aircon on your face or suffer from too much heat. It was so uncomfortable. There is no rug and broom provided. We booked for five nights and the room become very dirty because there is no broom and rug provided for the room.

Centrally located at walking distance to IT park. Many restaurants options were available near the hotel complex making it comfortable to get once meals. Pool was also good but cold as expected. Happy to visit again.

It's quite close to the airport, about a 10-20 minute taxi ride. The room decor is decent, but the facilities are really poor. The water pressure is very low, and the floor drain was clogged. The hotel is quite hidden in an area similar to a domestic shopping street. You can get there by walking through some shops, but there's a gate with access control, so security should be okay. It's not in an isolated area. The room window isn't soundproof at all, facing directly onto the street, and the noise woke me up... 😂
