4-Star Hotels in Bergen

The room felt like a basic express hotel, offering only the bare minimum. There's no coffee maker or kettle, and the bed only had two pillows and a duvet – no extras whatsoever. Its main selling point is its extreme proximity to the airport; you can literally see the hotel's sign from inside the terminal building. Another positive is the breakfast, which surprisingly offers hot food starting as early as 5 AM. However, if you're staying here purely to save money and not for the convenience of an early flight, then taking the light rail to the city center every day is definitely not worth the time or effort.

Unbeatable location just beside the train station and walkable to the shopping centre and old town. Room is big and spacious with a quirky ceiling which I was told was deliberate as the building was originally a carpark . Breakfast spread was good. The unpleasant experience we had was on the first night where there was a group who partied late into the night. A drunkard came banging on my room door. Room phone was not working when we tried to call and was told by staff the next morning that we need to scan the QR code which is totally impractical in the event of an emergency.

The most impressive thing is the breakfast they provided. Various kinds of food, you can have some hot plates and pancakes with drinks there. My family and I enjoyed it a lot. The location is great too and next to the beautiful Bryggen. Bergen city centre is walkable, you can just walk from the hotel to anywhere like fish market, bergen station and the famous mountains nearby. The least convenience is the bathtub. It's quite high, so for those who is not that tall need to be careful while entering. And the glass cover at bathtub only covers half, water easily spills on the floor. Overall it's a really nice hotel and worthwhile to stay.

The hotel boasts a great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a slightly older feel. There are many restaurants nearby, including the popular EGON restaurant, and the Bergen Fish Market is right across the street, making shopping convenient. The cable car is a 5-minute walk away, and Bergen train station is about a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, and if you prefer not to order outside, the hotel also offers complimentary dinner and afternoon tea. However, dinner is rather simple. We stayed at the hotel for four days, and one rainy day we ate dinner there, which was excellent.

I love everything about this hotel!! It was exceptional especially for the breakfast, i can’t help but be so greedy that i ate everything served. (don’t worry there were no food waste!! everything went directly to our belly🤣) we got free room upgrade as well with amazing view. at night we played some board games to spend time as outside was too cold

It’s just okay and nothing special. It won’t win awards for the aesthetics and the room is so small I don’t know how I’d manage if there were two of us, it’s a tight squeeze. Staff are hit and miss some are friendly and helpful and others seemed to have an attitude. Location is great and it’s close enough to everything you’ll need in Bergen. You can hear a lot of noise from the room, chairs scraping on floors and chat from other rooms so bring white noise! View from room of harbour great if you get a top floor.

The hotel's location right by the colorful Bryggen houses is incredibly convenient and offers great views. The breakfast spread is excellent. The hygiene standards are consistently high, as expected from a Radisson property. They have their own paid parking garage, which is quite safe and convenient, though it cost us 650 NOK for less than two days.

Nice! They got me the highest floor which is great, and special type room, love it! Most of the things u need are provided except slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste. I think most rooms can see the pier view. The first night, some birds, maybe, or someone shooting fireworks at my window making loud noises and I can see some flash lights out the window. Scared die me. Food: free breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was great, dinner ok but love breakfast more. Trip.com says the bottle water are free, but in fact they will be charged. I didn’t notice that and took one, before check out, just saw the pricing list(ｰ ｰ;) Location: a bit tricky to find the ENTRANCE! When u see the building, TUR RIGHT! To the right u can find the real entrance( the front one is no longer in use). very convenient, located at the heart of Bergen, the Bergen museum is next to the hotel. The fifth photo is very close to the hotel. A few minutes walk to the mountain tram station. By the way, u can ask the front desk and get the key for accessing the roof top( third and fourth photo)

Very central hotel with amazing friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent along with the dinner we had there one night. 15% off restaurant meals for guests was a nice touch. Beds were comfy but as in previous reviews the room could do with more lights as the only lights in the bed section of the room were 2 bedside lights. We would return in a heartbeat though.

On the other side of the old city, you can walk over, it takes about 20 minutes, you can also take the bus. We arranged the room on the second floor for us. The result was that we had to go down the stairs on the third floor. It was too inconvenient for us to carry the big box. Although the breakfast is not many varieties, the quality is very good.
