Fantastic stay in Yeosu – Spacious villas and great service We enjoyed a wonderful 5-night stay (May 14–19, 2026) at the Marine Terrace Pool Villa. This 3-star property is perfectly located on a beautiful bay. We stayed in the Ocean 4 and Marine 4 villas; they were very spacious, featured 2 large beds, and had equipped kitchens. A real highlight was the private pool in each villa, which we could heat to 36°C—the perfect way to relax after days spent hiking and visiting temples. The only downside was that the main swimming pool wasn’t open yet during our visit. The 2 staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Communication via translation apps and gestures worked perfectly well—definitely better than our Korean! It was a pleasure to stay in such a setting; we were the only Western guests among several local Korean families. We highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Yeosu!

Absolute perfection from start to finish! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staying at Moine Pool Villa was an unforgettable experience. The place is exceptionally clean, incredibly beautiful, and offers complete peace and privacy. The view and location are absolutely stunning! The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations by 100%. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back! ❤️✨

The facilities were incredibly clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The room was spotless, and the sauna was meticulously maintained by a staff member who constantly cleaned the fixtures. It’s the first time I've seen a sauna without a single hair! The cypress wood bath in the sauna smelled wonderful and was so refreshing. I used the sauna both on the evening of my arrival and the next morning – I wish there was a discount for repeat use! After the sauna, there are massage chairs on the same floor with an ocean view, and best of all, they're free! I lost count of how many times I used them. I also really enjoyed the breakfast. Some reviews mentioned a lack of variety, but I found it to be very substantial. They had Yeosu specialties like *gat-kimchi* and *gejang* (marinated crabs), along with other local dishes, and everything was delicious without being overly seasoned. It really made me feel like I was truly in Yeosu. Overall, the service was excellent. When I called the front desk about food waste from my late-night snack, they promptly came to collect it. And at checkout, I even received a cute cookie! Staying at Hidden Bay reminded me of some regional hotels in Japan. It truly feels like a hotel firmly rooted in local character. Thanks to this, I had a truly wonderful and relaxing time, and I'll definitely be back when I visit Yeosu again. (This is a genuine review from my own pocket!)

Centered around the Shangria Beach Tourist Hotel in Mokpo, it takes about 10 minutes by taxi from Mokpo Station to the hotel, which is extremely convenient. If you book a sea‑view room at this hotel, you can directly watch the Mokpo Dancing Sea Fountain Laser Show at 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. every night (show times vary by day of the week). These two shows are different: one is more suitable for young people with hip‑hop music, while the other features traditional songs for older guests. From your room, you can see the laser show venue near the waterfront promenade of Peace Square directly. Do not miss the chance to ride the Mokpo Marine Cable Car, the second‑longest marine cable car in the world and the longest one in South Korea. There are many popular scenic spots nearby including Yudalsan Mountain, Gohado Island, Mokpo Skywalk and the National Maritime Museum, which are all worth visiting. Walking back and to the right when facing the laser show area, there is a large area with numerous dining options, especially bars serving beer that stay open late. Daege Mart, the major department‑style shopping mall closest to the hotel district, can also be found nearby.

This was one of our favorite stays in Korea. It is a very well-maintained Hanoi with the loveliest family running it. The room was very clean and there is a beautiful garden to enjoy (the garden is shared with the owners). Our hosts were very kind, friendly and nice - they drove us to the tea plantation and after we checked out, to the train station. We also had a delicious and healthy homemade breakfast which we enjoyed very much. Hosts were always there to help but were not intrusive. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you for your hospitality and we hope to come back again.

Since there are no hotels above 4 stars in Mokpo, I moved to Yeongam and stayed there. Yeongam and Mokpo are so close that the location was the same, and the accommodation was clean. (The sheets were a little torn, but that's okay.) Cleanliness is the most important! There were no inconveniences related to the accommodation, but when I arrived on the day, there was a wedding at the hotel. The parking lot was full. There was a lot of double parking. The hotel definitely needs to improve this part. They park in front of the lobby, which is really I've never seen this before in all the hotels and resorts. Really, guests should use a different place than the parking lot. The hotel needs to manage it.

It's clean and nice because it's just opened. The staff is also friendly!! We used the duplex, and the child had so much fun and liked having his own hideout. The internal facilities are a large refrigerator, induction washing machine (which we used a lot because it was summer). We didn't use breakfast because we also wanted to explore delicious restaurants. It was nice to be able to use the nearby mart, convenience store, bank, and Daiso on foot for everything we needed during our 3-night trip.^^ The man and woman who work at the CU convenience store right in front are so friendly that it was a better trip.

This is a place I use often every time I go on a business trip. It was neat and the breakfast was really delicious. I will use it often in the future. Thank you.

We stayed at La Terrasse during our trip to Yeosu with the kids, and it exceeded our expectations! 😊 First off, the view was absolutely amazing, right by the sea. The scenery of the Yeosu ocean from our accommodation was so beautiful, especially in the evenings when the atmosphere was even better. The kids' favorite part was, of course, the pool! They had a blast playing in the water, and then relaxing at the resort made it perfect for a family trip. The area around the pool was also beautifully designed for photos, so we took lots of pictures 📸. The room itself was clean and comfortable for our family. Most importantly, it was great to spend time swimming and relaxing within the resort, making it an excellent choice for families traveling with children. If you're looking to relax by the sea in Yeosu, swim, and have a comfortable time with your kids, this place is definitely worth checking out 💙. I'd probably stay here again if I visit Yeosu in the future!
