2-Star Hotels in Jeonnam-Gwangju

The best hotel near the bus terminal in Gwangju! We stay here every time we visit or pass through the city. It's a 5-minute walk from the bus terminal. The rooms are spacious for Korean hotels, always clean, and have all the amenities. After Seoul, it's nice to see complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste, and toiletries in the room. We've stayed here with our family and on our own. The price is fantastic, and the area is filled with delicious cafes, coffee shops, and eye hospitals. I highly recommend it 👍🏼👍🏼

Being by the harbor rather than in the city center, it's very quiet. Plus, there's a large park within walking distance, which is great for a stroll. The views of Yeosu Bridge and the night sea of Yeosu are absolutely fantastic. The accommodation itself was clean and spacious, and the service was excellent. Having Lotte Mart nearby was convenient for groceries, and Hamo-hamo Eel Street was just a 5-minute drive away, which was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Located near Chonnam University. There's an ensuite bathroom, a working TV and even a heated blanket, so it was a comfortable stay during winter. The bathroom is small so everything will get wet when you take a shower, but it wasn't an issue for me. Very helpful host, they even gave me a SIM card with data and Korean number after knowing I was staying in Korea for a month. Overall a pleasant stay in Gwangju. I personally feel location is also good with CU right outside and easy connection with buses around.

The facilities are a bit old; even the sheets are patched. It was difficult to find the hotel because the reception is accessed through the parking lot. This is probably because it's a love hotel and guests prefer privacy. The room is large and quiet. The bed is comfortable. The room has a TV, refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer, and hair straightener. There are chargers for electronic devices. The bathroom is large, has a bathtub, and they provide shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. There are toiletries in small bags. Pajamas and slippers are also provided. There is coffee and a microwave in the reception area. The staff is very friendly. We didn't like: there's no wardrobe, and you don't know where to put your clothes; there are only two hangers on the wall. It's probably intended for a one-night stay. The towels are hand towels, not bath towels, making it very difficult to dry yourself properly. But without a doubt, the worst thing is the smell. It smells like old tobacco; it's so strong it's almost like garbage. The lights are difficult to adjust. We didn't even know how to turn off the bathroom light without turning off all the others.

Hotel situé proche arrêt de bus en venant du terminal des bus.,ainsi que pour faire les visites.Chambre correcte pour une personne ,propre,bonne literie par contre décoration surchargée ce qui rend la chambre plus petite,le plus le fauteuil de massage bien qu'un peu défoncé fonctionne très bien à condition de savoir le mettre en route car pas de notice en anglais. Le lendemain le ménage n'était pas fait (1janvier?) mais à la réception j'ai eu des disettes de café et bouteilles d'eau quand le soir j'ai ete demander.

This motel was probably the cleanest one I have stayed at. No stains on the bed or towels, and the floor was clean. The only bad thing is that the ceiling went up into a kind of square shape above the bed, and there was a big bug (not a roach) above where my head was, and there's like a little trough area so it was able to hide, too, and it wouldn't die, no matter how many times I sprayed it. I couldn't change rooms until the next day, so I slept with my head at the foot of the bed. The next day, I was moved to a different room with a wooden panel sticking down from the ceiling so no bugs would fall. They also kept my luggage while I went out for the day, and the workers were friendly. It was a good stay overall.

But it was nice to come in along the country road and see the room. Wake up in the morning, open the window and look out, the air is clear, the surroundings are clean and ... everything was good.

사진과 똑같아요 넓고 편안했어요 근처 식당 마트 다 있고 구경다니기 좋았어요 208호묵었는데 커피포트 드라이기 고장났는지 작동 안됬어요 다행히 방바로 앞에 정수기 있어서 사용했어요 ㅋ 사장님께 말씀드렸어야했는데 자리비우셔서 말씀 못 드리고 퇴실했어요 담에 다시 완도 갈일 있음 재방문의사 백만프로입니다

Although it was a little old, it was overall a satisfactory accommodation. Mano is a place with motels and hotels nearby, and there are many restaurants, so it is a good location.

Host was very nice and responded fast to our requests, new towels, toilet paper, water bottles, juice can and coffee can. Underfloor heating in bedroom and due to that, first night was too hot, consequently the other night opening windows and the door to the main entrance. Bed was too hard for me and I couldn't fall asleep straight away. There is actually a construction work site outside in front of the window. The noise starts at 08:00 o'clock. There is a very good restaurant just leaving the Samoa on the left side with good dishes, restaurant owner is a very lovely lady, see photos.
