Amazing
GGuest UserOnsen hotel offering excellent service, superb food and privacy. Service was next to nothing, staff offered Salmon sushi and malt tea at no extra cost as I choosed to skip breakfast to catch up with early bus schedule. The room was very clean and quite spacious. Dinner and breakfast was in Kaiseki style. The food was excellent, particularly the sashimi and the Hida beef (both grilled and sukiyaki). The use of local ingredients added to the uniqueness of the experience. The onsen was not big but cozy. Considering the hotel has about 20 rooms only, it offer very good privacy and I enjoyed the public bath twice alone in my 2 days stay. Rental private bath was a good surprise and worth to try if you are traveling in pair. Location is a bit far from train and bus station up on the top of the hill, but the the pickup service and a nice view of the mountain compensated for that.

长安匪This is my second stay in Gero. The first time I stayed at Yunoshimakan, which is the most popular in the country, I noticed this hotel on the opposite mountain when I checked in. I feel that the location is better than Yunoshimakan, but this hotel is domestic I can’t find any reviews on major domestic software, and the price is higher. This time I booked it completely with a try, but the feeling after check-in really did not disappoint me: First of all, let’s talk about the location: the hotel is on the upper reaches of the Gero River. On the hillside of the west bank, a bird's eye view of Gero is completely unobstructed. If you want to go to Gero Onsen Street or the station, you can ask the hotel attendant to drive there at any time and make an appointment to return to the hotel in advance. The driver will wait at the station on time, and these are free. Second, the hotel’s service is still very good, but the disadvantage is that English is not good. There is only one girl who is Indian and can speak simple English. The other waiters can only communicate in Japanese. The hotel has no waiters who can speak Chinese. There is a slight obstacle to communication. This is also the different positioning of the hotel and the Yunoshima Pavilion. The Yuzhidao Pavilion is full of the voices of Chinese and Taiwanese. It is basically a quiet and quiet Japanese. Regarding the sanitation of the hotel, this may be the most I have seen. It’s a good hotel. I changed my shoes when I entered the hotel. The floor was spotless. Even the carpet in the living room of the room had no signs of being used. The toilet had no peculiar smell. The decoration looked very new. The guest room was very large and looked about 70 square meters. , Each guest room has a living room, dressing room, toilet, bathroom, and bar. The living comfort is extremely high. Thirdly, I saw the layout of the hotel. The hotel has 10 floors. The third floor is a hot spring. Both men and women have indoors. Outdoor hot spring, the guest rooms are from the fourth floor to the tenth floor. There are only 3 rooms on each floor. I booked a private bath. It was on the fourth floor. After observation, there was no private bath on the 5th-10th floors. The spring water of the Lou private hot spring and the water source of the public hot spring on the 3rd floor come from different mountains, so there is a little difference in smell. Personally I feel that I should book a private soup, because the waiter said that the public hot spring is not open in the morning, which means that I can’t enjoy it on the morning of check-out, and the private soup is still OK. In terms of meals, because we chose to eat out, we only booked breakfast. Each hot spring hotel tastes the same, and the price is not necessary. Finally, I found on major travel software that some of the hotel’s names were Songyue and some were Zhangyue, but in fact, this hotel only has a Japanese name, which translates to a string of Japanese words called Tonight Starry Sky or something. In short, it is worth recommending and worth coming again.

GGuest UserThis is the best onsen hotel we’ve stayed in, among those we’ve stayed in for the past 12 years! We stayed here for 2 nights. We’ve extremely grateful to the hosts for their outstanding service and hospitality from the heart. Loved the thoughtfully varied menu for each meal. The establishment is spotlessly clean and excellently maintained. Each morning, our towels and yukata (hotel gowns) were replaced. So were the amenities ( fragrant green tea packs, snacks). The housekeeping staff even offered to mop our rooms after only one night’s stay. The wifi was also fast and sustained well in the guest room and public lounge areas. There are facilities to cater to a wide range of age groups from seniors like us and children too. There were ample resting chairs in the lounge and on the way to the historian’s well as guest rooms. The best facility was the hot springs! They are exactly as depicted in the hotel website. Numerous indoor pools of various temperature all have the renowned ‘beautifying’ odorless alkaline water. My skin felt so smooth and moisturized after only one soak. What’s more the hot springs stay open for in-house guests from 10.30 am to 11 pm and day-trip visitors from 10.30 am to 8 pm. In-house guests can also use the hotsprings early from 6 to 9 am. There is a European dry sauna as well as wet steam rooms in both make and female hotspring areas. We would love to stay here again!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in Xialv City, the appearance is very awkward, check in is very fast, the lobby staff can speak fluent English, very warm and courteous, you can pick up bathrobes and soak in the hot springs, very comfortable, the room is clean and tidy, the only thing is that there is no shower liquid/shampoo/conditioning in the room, you have to go to the Reception to ask the staff to get it, I hope the hotel will pay attention to . Overall, this hotel has a high price ratio and will stay again next time.
