4-Star Hotels in Granada

The location is good. You can see the top of the Alhambra Palace from the window. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the palace. It is also convenient to go to the observation deck. I booked a two-bedroom and one-living room. There is a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep two people. There is coffee in the kitchen. There are many restaurants downstairs. It is quite convenient overall.

If you don’t want to ruin your mood during your trip, don’t stay here. I chose several Meliá hotels during my Spain trip to experience a trusted Spanish brand. But after staying here, I canceled all my other Meliá bookings. The reason was simple — the reception was shockingly rude, especially a staff member named Elda. Everything else about the hotel was fine. The rooms were clean, the lounge was great, and the location was convenient. But the reception completely ruined the experience. Elda never greeted me. She didn’t confirm my booking details or explain anything about the room or hotel services. The first thing she said was that I needed to provide another credit card if I wanted to check in. Only after I asked did she mention it was for a deposit. Afterward, I checked Google reviews and saw that this issue has been mentioned for years, yet nothing has changed. We loved the apartment in the heart of Granada's Old Town; the decor was lovely, the facilities were new, and parking was conveniently located nearby in their own private parking space. We were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming blonde woman who followed us to the parking lot, concerned about parking. She also provided a very detailed explanation of the room. The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral and not far from the Alhambra Palace, which we walked to.

The hotel has a decent location and is generally clean, even though there are ongoing renovations at the moment. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. They don’t offer basic amenities like an iron for guests to borrow, which is standard in most other hotels at this level. Instead, they push guests to use their overpriced laundry service — ironing a simple polo shirt costs more than the shirt itself. I suggested they invest in just 2–3 irons for guests to borrow, and honestly, I’m willing to donate two myself if that’s what it takes. The parking is also far too expensive — €21 per day, which is excessive compared to other options in the city. My recommendation: choose another hotel until Hotel Saray improves its service and reconsiders its parking rates.

Traveling with family and friends, we had six people in total, each group staying in a triple room. The rooms were very spacious, and the bathrooms were excellent. The hotel's surroundings were quiet with plenty of restaurants nearby. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay... A highly recommended place to stay.

A very special hotel, in the new district of Albai, less than 1000 meters from the Alhambra. A wonderful travel experience in Granada is a part of this hotel.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, right in the city center with parking. The fifth floor had a swimming pool and laundry facilities, and the view was stunning. You could see Amitābha and the snow-capped mountains, and both the sunrise and sunset were stunning! The only downside was that Room 2 was close to the road, which was noisy at night. The next day, I contacted the front desk, and they promptly moved me to a quieter room. Everyone, when checking in, asked the front desk to avoid rooms facing the road.

For me , this is absolutely not a 4 star hotel. 1. Only stairs are available in the main entrance , no guidance to use side entrance if you have heavy luggages. Staff are not even helping/ guiding you to use side entrance via car park. I only know it when I ask. And they can see us clearly carrying two big luggages. 2. Staff are not friendly, you won’t feel welcome at all. The room is just average. There are no restaurants/ supermarkets nearby.

Everything was very clean. My room was non-smoking, but when Golia entered, it was clear they were smoking. Otherwise, the buffet was excellent, the service was great, and the location was 20 minutes from the center.

Room was clean, reception staff very helpful. Used as a base for visiting local area. Well placed for the metro.
