4-Star Hotels in Abona

Very convenient hotel as it is a few minutes by taxi from Tenerife South airport (about €15 by taxi), facing the sea, the view from the room is exceptional. The swimming pool, sheltered from any breeze with glass windows, is heated and you can swim (if you are not too cold) even in winter. The restaurant is a buffet with a good variety of choices, every evening we were offered a different type of dinner (Italian, Spanish, Canarian, etc...). Outside the hotel there is a beautiful promenade along the seafront, while it is surrounded by clubs and commercial activities (the commercial area is really small). The entertainment is limited to a few hours of live music, even for children it is almost nothing and there is no play area.

Very cozy hotel, pleasantly pleasantly accommodated area. excellent spa area with quite a large pool and a variety of sauna. The restaurant is deliciously fed, staff is very kind and responsive. This place is perfect for rest, slowing and relaxing, resting from urban vainness and noise. I recommend!

會因為一個酒店愛上一整個島，太適合度假的酒店了，非常非常漂亮，整個佈局非常大氣放鬆chill。 1.先談服務吧，印象最深的就是維修的師傅，吹風機有點接觸不良維修師傅立馬就來修了，並且非常非常非常的有禮貌，會再三確認方不方便進，還説很期待有一天來重慶玩，也非常可愛的一位大叔，我感受到了非常濃烈的善意和禮貌。前台小姐姐服務也超級好，笑嘻嘻的歡迎我們。餐廳入門口登記的每一位工作人員都非常紳士有禮貌，餐廳絕大部分員工也都很好，（除了早餐鐵板處的一位大媽態度有點惡劣），打掃人員打掃的也非常乾脆利落。 2.環境，酒店環境真的超級漂亮，我在這裏感受到了從內到外極致的放鬆，游泳池那邊設計的太漂亮了，頂樓還有up房間，可以俯瞰整個酒店和遠處的海。而且酒店是全包餐食，每天最期待就是吃飯的時候，自助餐都很好吃，每天種類也都不一樣。

It is a nice resort for a young family. Please note it is quite away from Playa de america beach and on a steep hill. We had our room at the top of the hill, almost felt like going up 4 floors to get to the room. Limited vegetarian options in hot food. This is quite common with any other resort in Canary Islands. So be ready to compromise on it. We got 4 single beds. If you are a couple who need a double bed, this could be a problem 😉. Parking is €5 per day although hotel is far away from beaches. This is something they should provide free. No option outside to park due to steep hill. We requested to move our room lower as my wife has asthma but not much of luck.

New facility , everything one needs including a fully equipped kitchen , excellent service! Plenty of things to keep your kids busy. Overall, highly recommended for people looking for a quiet and very pleasant stay! Mike D

Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

The room is clean and spacious, warmly decorated, and the bed is soft and comfortable. I had a good rest at night. The bathroom is clean, with complete toiletries, and the water pressure and hot water are stable. The view outside the window is also beautiful, which makes people feel happy.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting we recommend without hesitation. The reception is not warm anymore. The meals and breakfast are both nice and high quality.

The staff absolutely didn't care about guest requests. I asked for an extra blanket THREE TIMES, and on the third try, they brought towels 🤦. It wasn't until I made a scene at reception and made them explain the difference between 'blanket' and 'towels' (just to make sure they understood English) that they finally brought the blanket. They gave me a room facing the noisiest bars, which are loud until 2 AM, and didn't warn me about it. The breakfast staff were also rude. You have to beg for an omelet, and they do everything with sour faces. They rush to clear away the food as soon as 10:30 AM hits, practically snatching it from under guests' noses. If it weren't for such terrible staff, the hotel would be perfectly acceptable, even if it is a bit rundown. Many rooms have a good view of the city and the ocean.
