Hotel was generally nice enough, although room wasn't in great condition. The spa/health care suite was closed for two days out of our stay due a staff member being off on holiday, but we wanted to use the facilities, so this was disappointing. breakfast was ok although hot drinks were not nice.

Cockroaches!!! We stayed in room 3518, a 2-bedroom ocean view room. The room is old, the furniture is old. On the first evening, a huge cockroach was made from the kitchen cabinet. We killed him. The children were stressed and did not sleep at night. The next evening we saw a new huge cockroach in the kitchen. The cockroach ran away. On the third evening, a cockroach ran out while we were watching TV and having dinner in the evening. It was stressful. We didn't sleep again. They complained about the reception, cursed, wrote to Trip.com support. The hotel refused to evict us and return our money. In the end, I managed to get away from them. Out of 9 paid nights, the Hotel charged us for 4 nights of accommodation (without sleep and under stress) and a fine for the day. The money was returned for 4 nights out of 9.
I do not recommend this hotel.

In addition to cockroaches and small bugs, there are also spider webs, the toilet leaks from time to time, and the bathroom is still flooded the day before check out. I chose an apartment with a kitchen because I traveled with children. I cleaned it every 3 days, and I would not put enough garbage bags and supplies. , room service is 24 hours, overall not satisfied.

Check in very lazy and I’ll organised having arrived early and pre advised I’d be arriving early, said would get a call when room ready, 7 hrs later no call reception checking in others who had not been waiting as long.
Poor location Appt on ground floor location with people looking in our windows. As a founding Hollywood Mirage timeshare owner, and visit resort at least once a year, we will seek alternative venues for additional nights bookings.

The pictures of the hotel rooms were probably taken years ago. The furniture is outdated, especially in the downstairs area of the apartments. Maintenance needs to be approved.
However the experience as a whole is good, food was wonderful, wide choices available, very tasty, the pool areas are wonderful, employees are very friendly and helpful, prices are good, there is a grocery shop in the facility with good prices and wide variety of goods.

Rooms are practical and well equipped but bathrooms need a make over.
Not great if you don't like steep hills.
Pools are good, main one has entertainment, but there are two other quieter ones. Supermarket is well stocked and fairly priced. I would come back as it's better than some I saw.

Good communication prior to arrival, a spacious pleasant room and nice views. The so-called 'cardiac-hill' is an easy walk up a few sets of stairs or via the road but nothing too demanding if you are reasonably fit.
