Stayed here during Labor Day, so it was quite busy. Check-in took a while. The room had standard budget hotel decor, but a nice perk was the balcony. Being close to Huanghai Forest Park meant good views and fresh air. The smart TV in the room wasn't working. I spent ages trying to fix it. When I called the front desk for maintenance that evening, the technician came, took one look, and just said, 'None of the TVs in the hotel rooms are working, haha.' What a waste of time; they could have just told me that over the phone. Also, the electrical outlet on the bathroom wall was broken and very loose – a real safety hazard. And the shower door wouldn't close properly, always leaking water onto the floor. However, the hotel did provide free tickets for three to Huanghai Forest Park, which was a nice bonus. P.S. We also had dinner at the hotel. It was a set menu, but the service was very slow, and the food was just okay.

We booked this hotel last minute after our trip along the Shandong coast. It was excellent value for money. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Aline at the front desk was super helpful and even upgraded us to a more comfortable king-size bed room. Seeing that we had a child, she also offered us a complimentary breakfast. While we weren't quite used to the fish noodle soup 😅, our overall impression of Yancheng was very good. We also wanted the egg pancake, but they had run out of ingredients since we arrived late. The staff kept apologizing, and you could really feel their sincerity. The people of Yancheng are truly genuine and down-to-earth.

The Vienna Hotel has excellent facilities. Although it's about ten years old, it's well-maintained and looks quite new. The decor is modern and trendy. The room has two sets of light wood wardrobes and a large desk for laptops. I buy breakfast every day; it's plentiful with both meat and vegetables, fresh milk, and various drinks. The housekeeping is thorough and efficient. The bedding and towels are professionally disinfected. The showerhead has sufficient water pressure that doesn't irritate the skin. Swimming pool is really nice. Convenience store is really convenient, especially with the funds that is 60 rmb daily with your hotel room key card. Food in the cafe could be better though. Toilet paper is not enough. Some mold on the ceiling is also not a very pleasant experience. BBQ cafe is quite good
