Guest User
Just an hour from Hangzhou, this guesthouse is absolutely stunning, nestled against the mountains and beside the water. It's simple yet luxurious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the green hills and clear water. You can relax in bed, admiring the scenery, or take a soak in the hot spring after a nap – pure bliss! Downstairs, there's bowling, karaoke, and billiards. Outdoors, there's a slide and swings, which the kids love.
Parking is easy if you're driving; there's a parking lot right outside.
The owner is incredibly welcoming; she even brought us fresh strawberries in the morning. The pool wasn't open this season, so we'll have to come back in the summer!

Guest UserIt's rare for me to write a review, but good hotels deserve to be discovered by more people!
A very relaxing and unforgettable experience.
This place is perfect for aimless wandering and enjoying the pastoral atmosphere.
Eat fresh vegetables at the farm restaurant and watch the lambs.
Several scenic spots make you feel like you're in Monet's garden.
Listen to music and watch the sunset in the evening.
Your heart will instantly find peace.
Although its family-friendly facilities aren't as extensive as some big hotels (I suggest improvements! High chairs and children's amenities could be better).
The people, service, and environment here feel like a warm home in the countryside.
Very cozy.
I stayed for four days and didn't want to leave.
I'll definitely come back.

Guest UserDog owners, don't hesitate, just go for it! I was a bit worried about the inconvenience of traveling with my dog, but this place is truly welcoming. The owner's dogs are absolutely adorable and friendly 🐶. It was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely come back! **Room:** Although the room isn't huge, it has floor-to-ceiling windows with a beautiful view. **Service:** The owner is super nice! The service is top-notch, attentive, patient, and meticulous. I rarely encounter such detailed service in China. **Facilities:** The parking lot has charging stations, which is very convenient. There's a pool at the entrance, which would be perfect for summer fun. **Cleanliness:** This is something I'm very particular about, but the entire environment was very clean and tidy, even with many dogs around.

Guest UserI had a wonderful and very satisfying trip to this B&B in Anji. My family stayed in a detached mountain-view family room, which had a simple, eco-friendly wooden cabin style. It's a two-story unit with a bed on each floor. NookNook B&B is nestled on a mountain 700 meters above sea level, surrounded by bamboo forests, offering high negative oxygen ions – a natural oxygen bar. The lush greenery is incredibly refreshing and allows you to relax peacefully all day.
Driving from the foot of the mountain (where the Jiangnan Tianchi Scenic Area sign is) takes about 30 minutes along a winding mountain road to reach NookNook. Along the way, you'll pass the popular Fujiwara Tofu Cafe. A short distance past the cafe, you'll see the Jiangnan Tianchi Scenic Area parking lot. Turn left at the parking lot (there's a NookNook sign) and continue for another 10 minutes on a narrow, winding country road. (This section can be quite dark at night, so be careful if driving after dark.) You'll then arrive at the hotel. There's ample parking, about 10 spaces, with two charging stations that can accommodate four cars simultaneously.
The hotel service is excellent. A butler will add you on WeChat in advance, and upon arrival, a staff member will help carry your luggage to your room. The hotel offers a variety of facilities, including hot springs (additional charge), an outdoor swimming pool (shallow, good for photo ops and kids playing), KTV, and a chess/card room (reservations via the butler, free of charge). The front desk also has an XBOX available in the evenings. They even arrange bonfires at night, with self-service roasted sweet potatoes and marshmallows. The hotel is located at the very end of the Daliang Ancient Path's summit. You can walk down the ancient path directly from the hotel for a small hike of about 4000 meters round trip. This scenic path, surrounded by bamboo, also features a stream, making for beautiful scenery.
While the hotel's breakfast is a fixed set menu, you can also request noodles, rice noodles, mini wontons, small steamed buns with meat, and poached eggs. There's also a self-service selection of bread, milk, and juice. If you wish to have lunch or dinner at the hotel, you need to book your dishes one day in advance, and there's an additional charge. The bamboo forest chicken and bamboo shoots are very fresh and delicious, and the dishes are refined and tasty. The hotel also provides complimentary afternoon tea, and the bar offers a la carte coffee, cocktails, and more.
Every corner of the hotel offers beautiful views, making it perfect for a full day of relaxation. If I get the chance, I would definitely consider revisiting in the winter.

What a fantastic home stay. My partner and I stayed for the weekend, and everything was brilliant. The staff were all friendly and helpful (despite us both being able to speak Chinese and the staff not speaking English, they did everything they could to help us and make us feel welcome).
The room was big, clean and had everything that we needed. It also had a water machine which was really helpful especially with the weather being so hot.
We spent one afternoon relaxing by the swimming pool, and it was peaceful and the water was clean and refreshing.
Breakfast was good, with enough selection to choose from.
The location was also brilliant, with it only being a ten minute walk to where the buses take you to Skyland, which is why we visited the area.
We will be coming back to stay here in the next few months when we visit the area again! Thank you for a great weekend.

Posted on Apr 13, 2024|Osaka-Kyoto Japanese-Style Tatami Double Bed Room (1 Unit with Private Hot Spring Scenic Balcony)
JuliaFI literally hate when I book a room looking at the picture and get something different in reality. I’m a fan of hotsprings , and when I planned this little getaway with my husband, the room with a private outdoor soaking tub caught my eye. According to the photos on Trip.com , the room had a spacious terrace and a cozy corner soaking tub. When we arrived , they gave us some middle room and the soaking tub was right next to neighbors’ one, separated by a short see-through fence, as if we were supposed to bathe all together. When my husband pointed this out to the front desk , they made up some excuse how all the rooms have the same photo on the website and how they can’t change our room saying someone already booked that better room. I can’t confirm but I had a feeling they were lying because I never saw anyone on the terrace of that room.
This unpleasant experience aside, the hotel territory is lovely , they have a glamping area and the swimming pool. Very suitable for families to enjoy . We had a dinner in their restaurant and it was delicious . The Chinese traditional breakfast was included in the room price , it was very fresh and good as well. So in the end I’d still recommend this hotel but if you have a choice better not come during national holidays .

Guest UserFrom the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly well taken care of. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the room layout was well-designed with fantastic natural light. The hotel's location is super convenient, making getting around a breeze. All the facilities are top-notch – the laundry room, gym, and self-service breakfast area are all very well maintained. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious. The service throughout my stay was exceptional; any request was promptly handled. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

房间干净,风景好,但服务、体验感、性价比一般。
This place is designed for the 'gram, not the 3000 RMB/night experience. The room is beautiful, you've seen that already, but here's my genuine experience that I hope helps set your expectations.
Overall, bare minimum service. There is no proper front desk reception, and I had to remind them to set up the butler group chat the day before arrival because there were no instructions. Upon arrival, the main door was locked. Someone eventually came and brought my luggage up to the room, and that was it. No friendly chats, no personal touch, no estate introduction or tour, no other instructions, just a few pre-set WeChat images. The butler is quite responsive on chat but often provides incomplete answers.
Service at breakfast was cold. No one welcomes you when you walk in, and there was no proper introduction to what was available. There was only one staff member at breakfast. He eventually came over and asked which main dish I'd like. There was no mention of Western vs. Chinese options until I overheard someone else's order. Most of the time he was standing at the kitchen entrance using his phone loudly, which made it hard to get his attention. The loud phone noise made the experience quite unpleasant, as I was hoping for a relaxing, quiet breakfast.
Food options are very limited for a solo traveller. I ordered ******* for every lunch and dinner. I was quite hungry in the late afternoon and looking forward to the savory snacks in the afternoon tea set. I ordered them to my room and was told the ”chef had a family emergency” and could not prepare the fries and popcorn chicken, though I later saw someone else having the complete set in the lobby. :/
I saw another review a few months back giving feedback that there was no floor mat near the hot tub area. Even though they always respond to negative reviews the same way, saying they will improve, the problem was unfortunately not fixed. You only have one floor mat at the shower area and have to remember to bring it across the room to the hot tub area, or you'll be dripping wet on a slippery floor when you exit the tub.
Soundproofing is bad. There is a road right next to the room, and you can hear occasional cars passing by. During my stay, farmers were harvesting bamboo, and you could hear the loud truck engines (which sounded like excavators) and them talking loudly. Mad respect for farmers, just highlighting the downside of the location that you dont see in the nice photos.
The whole experience was strange because it felt like other guests were there for photoshoot over an actual hotel stay experience. You could see beautifully dressed ladies posing at every corner of the estate. Nothing wrong with that, just not something I'm used to.
The experience is not without positives. The room I stayed in 【云渌】 had an insanely beautiful view, which was what I came for. It directly faces the bamboo forest and mountains. On good days, you'll probably be able to see a nice sunset. The room was clean and had great, thoughtful amenities, including Le Labo toiletries, a small pack of laundry detergent, eye masks, earplugs, and a Dyson hairdryer, to name a few. I also loved the huge private balcony it came with.
I was really looking forward to this stay, but coming from another 民宿 I absolutely enjoyed, the service here was a stark contrast. This place has so much potential if they could brush up on the professionalism of the service crew to match the aesthetic and pricetag. I sincerely wish them well and hope the service can be improved.

The hot spring is a 100% plus point. The semi-open environment plus the fire means that you won't feel cold at all whether you are soaking, drinking tea or eating fruit in the middle, or returning to the room. The sense of touch is full. The housekeeper will also keep asking about the temperature of the soup on WeChat. The bamboo house also has a good experience. There are two heaters and air conditioners in the room. The indoor temperature is also very comfortable in Anji's winter. The overall space is also large, and there is a swing under the bamboo house. Breakfast and the reserved dinner are both very good. The chicken soup is not quick-cooked chicken, and the taste is good in the mountains. There is a parking lot at the door of the homestay, and there are four charging piles, which are very friendly to trams. In terms of service, any problems and needs will be responded to and solved in a timely manner. The housekeeper also gave suggestions for nearby tours. Overall, it is worth a second visit for a parent-child tour in winter

Our family room was such a pleasant surprise! We had stunning mountain and sea views right from our room, which was incredibly relaxing. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our child without feeling cramped at all.
The breakfast spread was incredibly varied, and our child absolutely loved it. The pool was large and incredibly photogenic – every photo came out picture-perfect. The overall experience was fantastic. If you're looking for a relaxing family getaway with beautiful scenery, this is definitely the place to choose!
The shuttle service was a convenient bonus, and the surroundings were superb, giving us the feeling of being in a secluded paradise – truly rejuvenating! What's more, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the room had excellent soundproofing, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful sleep.
