GaileyBeeA clean hotel with comfortable beds. The breakfast provided was good, although such a terrible waste using plastic cutlery and cups as well as paper plates and cups, not great for the environment at all.
Nice downstairs area to socialise in the evening. It would have been nice to have been told on check in about the free food available on Wednesday evening, with crackers, cheese, salad, soup, cookies, beer and soft drinks rather than stumble upon it 5 minutes before it stopped and therefore miss out. The same goes for the free coffee that is available all day and only finding out about it not long before leaving..
Didn't use the swimming pool as was rather crowded already when we went there. The gym was spacious and welll equipped. No flexibility on a later check out, with check out being 11am which is early for a hotel of this size. Location wise we walked or took the local buses which was fine but you are some distance out of the city which might not suit some.

Guest UserThe hotel is less than 10min walk from Andrew’s station which is a direct Silver Line 1 bus from airport to this station. Within many outlets like TJ mart, Macy , Marshall , Target, Stop and Shop , Olive Garden and Applebee’s and many other shop.
The hotel staffs were friendly. I was there for 11 nights and upon check out, this young gentleman on duty prepare to help waive off our USD$10 airport transfer for my family of 4 .
I must also gave a big clap to this lady serving the weekday morning breakfast . I think her name was Melinda , she was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
We would definitely return if we were to visit Boston again.

The price is too expensive, there is almost no service for 4 nights, the room hygiene needs to contact the front desk to clean, there is no bottled water, breakfast is not bad, parking needs to pay 50 dollars a night

Guest UserA stylish, industrial-themed hotel with a perfect location! It's close to famous breakfast spots and a lobster chain. Two subway stations are practically on its doorstep, and Boston Common is also nearby. Truly close to everything! The room didn't have a coffee maker or kettle, and the shower pressure was quite low. My room key had some vouchers tucked inside, but the front desk didn't offer any information about the hotel's facilities beyond collecting the deposit and handing over the key card – not a single word. However, the cleaning staff and other employees were all very friendly.

Guest UserThe hotel has a great location with plenty of restaurants nearby and is convenient for getting around. Parking can be booked in advance at nearby parking lots; the hotel charges 70, but you can come and go freely. The room is dark, with a kitchen and tableware, but the facilities are outdated. The refrigerator is particularly noisy, and combined with the air conditioner compressor right outside the window, there's low-frequency noise all night. Those sensitive to noise should be cautious… The sofa bed is old, makes noise, and the springs have lost their elasticity, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, but the toilet seat is loose. The shower faucet doesn't close properly and leaks all night.

liujingszThe room was spacious and the kitchen facilities were complete. It was also quite convenient for getting around, with a large supermarket nearby. The service attitude was excellent, exceeding my expectations. I will definitely prioritize hotels from this brand for my future travels.

Trip saverCredits for food variety for the morning bf , complimentary snacks upon check in and free evening reception and free shuttle service to and from airport. Disappointed with reception poor services. Prepaid 3 nites room charges but only activated my room card for a night. Felt bad especially we had a day out coming back exhausted during night unable to enter the room, need to walk down and request for the key update which experienced unfriendly and rude management staff without apologies for the incident happen, in return asking back, what do you want me to do now?
shouldn’t

I recently stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Boston – South Boston, and it was a great experience overall. The staff were very friendly and professional, making check-in and checkout easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a busy day.
The location is convenient for getting around the city, though it’s a bit outside the main downtown area. The gym and Wi-Fi were both reliable, and parking was straightforward.
The only downsides were that the bistro closed a bit early and there weren’t many late-night dining options nearby. Still, it’s a solid choice for anyone visiting Boston who wants comfort and good service at a reasonable rate.

ArrowanaI had an enjoyable stay at the place. The place is new and clean. The staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful. The rooms smells fresh and is comfortable to sleep 4.
The hot breakfast has a pretty good spread and the food is fresh. The servers work really hard and refills the food promptly. Kudos to them.
Overall the stay is value for money. A great place to rest and recharge. Nothing to do with the hotel, but the neighbourhood is a below expectations and feels unsafe. It is apparent if you walk around in the late evening. Nevertheless, if you are hopping around the city, getting a Lyft or Uber is easy and the neighbourhood should not be a factor.

The hotel itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind and attentive - we truly appreciated their work and hospitality.
However, we experienced a serious issue regarding the resort fee policy, which left us feeling confused and misled as international guests.
During online booking, the resort fee was listed as $25 per night, but important information about additional mandatory charges only appeared after payment was completed, when cancellation was no longer possible, wich is disappointing. Upon arrival, we were charged $200, which was later explained as $25 per person per night - something that was not clearly communicated during the booking process or at check-in. Initially, we believed this payment was a refundable deposit, as no clear explanation was provided.
What felt particularly unacceptable was the way additional fees appeared in multiple stages:
1. extra charges becoming visible only after payment and confirmation,
2. additional payments required again upon arrival at the hotel, and
3. further unexplained charges after checkout - in our case, an additional $16 was withdrawn without clear justification.
A staff member kindly explained that the resort fee includes Wi-Fi, water, and tea in the room, which we did use as they are standard services normally included in hotel stays worldwide. The fee also covered additional optional amenities such as bicycle parking and a complimentary alcoholic drink at the bar. However, we did not use these extra amenities, as they were not relevant to our stay. Since these services are optional by nature, it was unclear why guests are not given the choice to opt out instead of being required to pay for them regardless of usage.
Even more concerning is that these mandatory resort fees are presented as payment for comfort and amenities, yet the overall stay did not fully reflect this. The soundproofing in the hotel is very poor, and we could clearly hear the neighbour’s television. The manual heating system in our room also did not function properly. We chose not to report these issues at the time because we spent little time in the hotel and did not expect the final cost of the stay to become so high. In hindsight, considering the total amount paid, these comfort issues become more significant.
We strongly believe that all mandatory taxes and service fees should be transparently included in the total hotel price from the beginning. When fees continue to appear after payment, during check-in, and even after departure, guests understandably feel uncomfortable and misled.
Because the final amount paid was much higher than expected, we realized that for the same total price we could have chosen a better hotel without additional hidden fees - which we in fact did for our following stay.
We kindly ask the hotel to review these charges and consider a partial refund, as greater transparency and fairness in pricing would greatly improve trust and the overall guest experience
