Amazing
HHo Mei MelodyKathryn is such a wonderful host as I feel like at home. She’s warm n helpful from calling reliable taxis to recommending her favorite eating place…she even prepared a ‘sumptuous’ breakfast for us to catch our early morning train. I’m sure I’ll be back again when I visit Anchorage.
GGuest UserIt was stated that there is an airport shuttle bus, so I made a reservation, but there was no airport shuttle. In the end, I called a lift and moved it. Please note. The price included breakfast, but the breakfast was very simple, so I didn't feel much merit. Rather, the advantage is that it is very close to the airport (10 minutes by car) and there are very good Vietnamese restaurants around. It is difficult to recommend as the price-to-quality ratio is low.
__TS***MKRoom is clean, essential items are all available. Blackout curtains are effective. Only a 15 minute walk from the train station. Easy access to both downtown and the shore. Staff is friendly, though there is sometimes a short wait to talk to the staff.
AAndrewEngineerEasy to book and check-in.
Room was spacious and reasonably comfortable.
Breakfast was OK.
Sofa bed was a bit too saggy.
Overall, good and will consider again when needing a room in the area.
GGuest UserWe liked how the room was clean and the pool smelled like chlorine and was clean unlike other hotels we stayed at. But the front desk clerk was very rude. I tried to check in a couple mins early and she only said I don’t see your name anywhere and pretty much only left me an option to leave and come back later. So instead of being friendly she was opposite and made me feel not wanted there. But we stayed anyway. And the breakfast really sucked! COVID made them feel like they can treat people however they want.
GGuest UserIt is highly recommended for tourists who come to Anchorage for vacation. The hotel has a 24-hour free airport shuttle service. It is very convenient. The hotel's various equipment is newer, clean and comfortable. I will stay next time.
PPinto767Your Lakefront Anchorage is a fantastic place to stay, offering an unbeatable location and great service. The setting is simply stunning, with beautiful lake views that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Whether enjoying the scenery from the property or heading out for outdoor activities, the location is perfect.
The service was excellent—friendly, accommodating, and attentive to guests’ needs. Check-in was smooth, and the staff made sure everything was comfortable throughout my stay. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped for a hassle-free experience.
If you’re looking for a lakefront getaway with a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience, this is the place to be. I highly recommend it and would definitely return!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport, a 10-minute drive. It was relatively quiet at night. We stayed there for 5 days and didn't feel disturbed. There are great Korean and Japanese restaurants near the hotel. They are delicious and the food in the restaurants is good value for money. The hotel room is not very big but it is adequate for living. The facilities are relatively old and there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The quality of breakfast is good but the variety is monotonous, the food is the same every day. Eating for 5 days in a row is boring. Korean tour groups check in every day. The hotel's value for money is generally okay. If there is a better choice, I will not stay here again next time.
GGuest UserWe enjoyed the room and how clean it was. We also liked feeling secure with a gate for all guests. We didn’t feel secure at other hotels like that. The only real issues I had was that the pool is very outdated. Doesn’t smell of chlorine at all just smells like a gravel pit. We didn’t want to get the water on our mouths because there was a lot of dirt in the pool. So it needs to be updated. Nobody should have to swim in a dirty pool with no chlorine in 2021. That’s the whole reason people probably want to stay there so I know we are not the only guests that were let down with this old stinky outdated pool. Also they need to make their fitness room bigger and they need some weights in there. Because all you can do is run. Plus the breakfasts were very cheap. Greek yogurts are nasty it should’ve been regular yoplait. With a granola bar, orange, and bottle of water. Not sure if I will stay there ever again unless they fix all these issues and stop being cheapskates!
