3-Star Hotels in Muscat

This hotel offers great value for money, located right in the city center with convenient parking. The facilities are quite new, breakfast is good, and the service is excellent. We had a very comfortable stay. I've already recommended it to friends traveling to Muscat for Chinese New Year.

Good, clean hotel in the center of Muscat. Service was great; they even offered extra water without us asking. They asked if we needed a charging adapter and brought one to our room. Breakfasts are simple, but you won't go hungry. There's a large grocery store just around the corner on the street. This hotel is perfect for a short stopover of a couple of days.

The room was quiet and clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the dinner set menu, which included a drink, salad (or soup), main course, and dessert, was also very nice. Parking right in front of the hotel was very convenient.

We needed a hotel for one night, so we tried to find ”economy” class option and chose this hotel. I guess it's quite challenging in Oman. I was a bit disappointed with the experience. The bedsheets and pillows are yellowish colour. So we slept on the duvet cover wearing our clothes. There was an insect on the pillow. Was it a bedbug, a baby cockroach or a mite, I have no idea, but that was awful. One of the windows was broken and open, so we had to sleep like that. There was no ”dunes” view like somebody wrote here. The windows are dirty. There are sanitary kits, slippers, 2 bottles of water, but all this don't outweigh the quality of beds. I have to say that the breakfast is delicious with some traditional dishes what is very interesting. Overall, there are, for sure, things to be improved in the rooms.

Hotel location is good, eating around is very convenient, there is a swimming pool, gym, bar, overall not bad

The hotel has a very good location — most of the main attractions can be reached by taxi in about 15–20 minutes, which is very convenient. The breakfast was excellent and very tasty, with a good variety. The local staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind — always ready to assist with a smile. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a Deluxe room, which made my stay even more special. Such gestures really make a difference. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Muscat. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Nice location in quiet residential area near beach. Hotel has limited parking on site. Public areas and rooms were clean. Receptionist tried to reduce to a single room from the double that I had booked. Pointed this out and was given a double ...... next to the lift, despite the hotel being practically. Poor soundproofing meant that I could hear every conversation in the corridor. Tried the pool which is on the second floor in the middle of the hotel. No towels available. I did ask a member of staff but none were forthcoming. Restaurant was empty and no bars were open as it was Eid. Service was polit and there was an extensive menu. Additional guidance on the menu explaining the dishes would have been helpful. Bar and restaurant downstairs also closed. Breakfast service staff were helpful and offered alternative options which were not laid out on buffet.

My overall experience at Muscat Plaza Hotel was somewhat good. Unfortunately, they lacked many things. For example, the room wasn't fully prepared, and I had to ask for toothpaste, slippers, and a toothbrush. Additionally, the gym lacked many tools. They only had a treadmill, which is not what I consider a gym. It also closed too early at 9:00 PM. I was only satisfied with the reception assistance and support

The room has a nice smell, the breakfast is good, the restaurant environment is also good, and parking is convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Oman. The staff were incredibly supportive, respectful, and always ready to help. Their kindness truly made our experience special and unforgettable. A special thank you to the receptionist and the bellman who welcomed us on arrival and helped with our luggage. He was very supportive and kind, making us feel comfortable from the very first moment. Thank you to the whole team for such a warm and memora
