3-Star Hotels in Hamamatsu

The place is exactly like in the photos. The room was very clean and plenty of space even after opening 2 luggages. The queen bed is huge and very comfortable. Toilet and shower is also very clean, but slightly cramp (usual jap style). Wet and dry area is separated. Warm water comes quickly and the water pressure in the shower is strong. The onsen was excellent, with a password for the female bath due to security reasons. Free wifi is very strong. Hotel is easy to find, and walking distance from the shinkansen (head towards the direction of the bus interchange). There is a convenience store on the opposite road. One of the staff speaks good english and assisted us promptly. There is a welcome drink and able to get additional pillows from the counter. Will stay again

The location is fantastic, being close to the station and within walking distance of the downtown area. Although I stayed in a single room, the bed was spacious, perhaps a double or queen size? The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and I was very satisfied. If I had to nitpick, I would say that it would be even better if the bath towels were a little fluffier and thicker.

It's generally clean, has all the necessary amenities, and offers good value for money. It's within walking distance of Hamamatsu Castle and there's a Starbucks nearby.

In Japan, you can actually stay in a hotel that costs just over 100 RMB, and it's right next to the train station. It's no different from an ordinary Japanese-style express hotel. The room is small, but it has everything you need.

The hotel is opposite Hamamatsu Station, just a few minutes' walk following Google Maps. Free luggage storage is available. There are self-service laundry machines and dryers on the 2nd floor, but only one set is available, so there might be a queue for laundry in the evening. The room is large enough for one person. You need to give your room key to the front desk when you leave and pick it up again when you return. There are self-service water dispensers and coffee machines in the lobby on the 1st floor.

It is not very far from the station, it is quite convenient, but it seems that because the facilities are old, it smells like it is. Then it is because the chain stores are pushing their membership cards, and then they are not particularly enthusiastic when they check in. You need to check in independently.

When I asked in advance, ”Is it possible to change to something that is easy for children to eat?”, I was grateful that I changed it to a child lunch-style meal. Also, because there was a child, the restaurant was prepared in the private room, and it was relaxed and the meal was able to be done. The family room was like an old good inn room, but it was cleaned or well equipped and equipped with what was needed. My child liked Pal Pal and went to play for two days, but it was helpful to use the parking lot before check-in and after check-out. Pal Pal is a short walk from the inn. It was a perfect inn for family.

I had a very pleasant stay. My room was upgraded, and since they were also hosting a group, they informed me of the available breakfast times in advance. I also used the bath on the top floor twice, once in the evening and once in the morning. Everything I needed was there, and the timing was perfect, so I had it all to myself. The men's and women's baths are switched, and shampoo and other amenities are replaced at the same time. This is the first time I've seen such a thoughtful hotel. The women's bath has an electronic lock, which is another great feature. Breakfast is a set menu rather than a buffet, and I think preparing enough for each person reduces food waste, which I preferred. When I requested a shuttle to Hamamatsu Station in the morning, the driver asked whether I wanted the north or south exit, and he took me to the south exit, which is close to the Shinkansen ticket gates. It's a little far from the station, so it might be difficult with a large suitcase, but the comfortable stay more than made up for it.

My husband and I stayed overnight. The staff were all friendly, energetic, and extremely helpful. All rooms have a lake view, offering a panoramic view of Lake Hamana. It was beautiful and relaxing at any time of the day. The dinner buffet was absolutely amazing! The eel was so fluffy and delicious! I'd go back just for that! lol They had a daily welcome drink? And all-you-can-eat candy ice cream... The service was also impeccable, so I highly recommend it!

The front desk was kind and polite. There was coffee that I could drink 24 hours a day and breakfast was good enough. It was a little old if it was negative, so it was a type of hot water adjustment such as shower. However, it was in G W near the station, but it is satisfied with reasonable or price.
