Hotel Ascent Hamamatsu

I choose Ascent for its cost-performance ratio, but the bathtubs in most rooms drain poorly, so I always have to get out and rinse my feet with the shower. Also, the toilet seats don't have a heating function, so in winter they're freezing cold, and I sigh every time I use the toilet. Recently, the welcome drink has also changed from being free to a paid service. That being said, it's cheaper than nearby hotels, so I still use it.

The room was a good size and clean, which was great, but the drainage after showering was poor and took a long time to drain, which was a negative point. Also, the smell in the shower room was a little bothersome. The front desk staff were friendly and left a good impression. I think they should check the shower room drainage. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

There was no information about amenities. The room was clean and the reception staff were helpful.

The hotel is opposite Hamamatsu Station, just a few minutes' walk following Google Maps. Free luggage storage is available. There are self-service laundry machines and dryers on the 2nd floor, but only one set is available, so there might be a queue for laundry in the evening. The room is large enough for one person. You need to give your room key to the front desk when you leave and pick it up again when you return. There are self-service water dispensers and coffee machines in the lobby on the 1st floor.
