AAnonymous UserFor the accommodation, I paid a total of €199.13 through Trip.com. This consisted of €185.13 paid online in advance and an additional €14.00 paid locally.
However, upon our arrival at the accommodation, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional €66.20.
This additional charge was not clearly disclosed to me during the booking process on Trip.com. In particular, there was no clear indication that we would be required to pay an additional €66.20 upon arrival.
I ultimately paid the €66.20, even though I did not agree with the additional charge. The reason was that we were already at the accommodation and needed somewhere to stay. I did not want to risk being denied access to the apartment and being left without accommodation.
I also informed the host/property manager at the time that I would clarify the matter with Trip.com afterwards.
I therefore request that you investigate this matter and provide a full refund of the additional €66.20, provided that this fee was not properly and transparently disclosed during the booking process.
I would also like you to clarify:
* Why was the €66.20 charge not clearly disclosed during the booking process?
* What exactly was the €66.20 charge for?
* Why was this amount only requested upon arrival?
* Was this additional charge actually permitted under the terms agreed between Trip.com and the property?
Please provide me with a written explanation and arrange a refund of €66.20.
I would also like to make clear that I paid the additional amount solely because I was already at the property and did not want to risk being left without accommodation. My payment should therefore not be interpreted as acceptance that the charge was properly disclosed or valid under my original booking.

GGuest UserThe stay I had there was simply incredible, I was positively impressed and would come back a thousand times over, everything is very beautiful, organized and very well located, it is right in the city center which makes the stay more pleasant, everything you can do nearby, there is all the commerce and especially next to the arena, the most beautiful thing, the hotel itself is very well built and there was always someone there to help us, the room is the cutest thing and super tidy, the breakfast is very tasty and There are several options, I loved everything about the hotel, congratulations and the people who work there are extremely friendly!!! 💕

BUT the location really is NOT the best especially if you’re traveling alone: 20+ minutes from old town by walking, didn’t feel safe to do the walk alone at night (even in the daylight I switched to the other side of the pedestrian walk to avoid crowds that made me feel uncomfortable). On Sunday, not many places opened for breakfast. If I’d visit Verona again, I’d stay in the old town.

虫虫虫LucMarilyn Red Hotel, where Mari has lived! Although the room is not as big as the picture, it is a very refined hotel. Just next to the Verona Round Theatre, in the heart of the scenic area, basically walking to all the attractions, time can be controlled within half an hour! The luxury street next door is enough for a whole day. The Michelin recommended restaurant downstairs, the price is also reasonable, the train station is also 15 minutes walk, no need to worry about the location of the hotel. It was just that the bar on the rooftop had a private banquet that day, but I couldn’t experience it, but it felt great at night!

But very best things about this Hotel are, its cleanliness , and very attentive staff. Breakfast is varied and plentiful .
You could not wish for a better place to stay. We shall definitely return.

The owner takes very good care with information and makes you feel welcome. The apartment has everything you need and even more. In short, we will come back

PPei ShanAt first, I was hesitant to book this hotel because of the limited reviews. I wasn't sure whether to choose this one or another 4-star hotel, but in the end, I went with this hotel due to its proximity to the train station (1 km) and better rates. To my surprise, everything was great—the room was a good size and very clean. There's also an elevator to reach the rooms, so you don't have to worry about carrying your luggage up stairs. staff are friendly too , they will recommend you where to visit in Verona.
The downside, however, is that the room's soundproofing isn't very strong. I could hear people running or walking in the corridor outside. Additionally, the room key is a traditional key with a heavy keychain, rather than a key card. But it wasn't a major issue for me, as you can leave the key at the reception. The breakfast was decent for the price.

GGuest UserThe location is very good, the room is very spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped and the refrigerator is large. The washing machine is very Italian, working once, and resting for 30 minutes. There is no washing powder in the room and you need to bring your own. It is best to provide wifi password in the room, contacted many times, until leaving, and did not connect to wifi.

MMarco9I had booked the usual double room on the first floor, but when I got to the room I found the beds separate. So I went back to the reception and they put me in a room on the 5th floor not up to the standard of the rooms on the lower floors.
