3-Star Hotels in Cefalu

The curtains are not shading, but it is very convenient to go anywhere. The train station is a few minutes away. It is downhill, but it is uphill to the train station. There is no elevator. You need to carry the box up, but you can tell the reception person in advance that they will help move together. Very nice, the morning view is also very good.

The room is large and the landlord is super welcoming and highly recommended. But the disadvantage is that the bathroom is transparent

The double room with sea view was very comfortable, and you could ask the owner for a blanket to put on top of the sheets. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh croissants and plenty of fruit, and the owner was very helpful. The villa is near the train station, a short uphill walk away. The courtyard is surrounded by greenery, and it's so comfortable to sit and enjoy the sea view!

Overall, I am not satisfied with this homestay. It is the bottom one of our stays in this Italian trip. For two reasons, first, we have already told Trip.com that the time to reach Cefalu train station is about 19:19. As a result, we received a call from Trip.com on the train from Taormina to Cefalu. It is said that it is because of 5.1, the front desk is off work at 18:00. It’s outrageous. We have booked the night stay of 5.1 long ago. Can the hotel change the check-in time at will? Although the last Trip.com was coordinated to 20:00, the experience for us was very bad. Not to mention that we arrived at the hotel and no one was there. It took about 10 minutes to get other guests over. 2. Because we left Cefalu the next afternoon, I told the hotel to store my luggage until about 13:00 after checking out. The order was clearly written on Trip.com The 24-hour front desk can store your luggage for free. The result was rejected in one mouth. There is no reason, just not to store your luggage. They recommended a place near the train station where luggage can be stored, which is actually useless, because the store is resting during the time period when we need to pick up luggage. I wanted to give a bad review, but it was not easy to think about them, so I gave 3 points.

Good sea view and staff

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is approximately 1km from the main heart of the city (which meant it was VERY quiet). Great breakfast and the staff were very pleasant and assisted in every thing that we required. The car park facilities are tight and not too many spaces so confirm that you want a space early. Pool was great and VERY clean. I would certainly recommend staying here as the town is a wonderful spot to see.

Very close to the train station, very convenient to travel, not far from the beach and the old town, you can wear a swimsuit to the beach to swim. The hotel is still relatively clean, the single room is relatively clean, the bed is really small, but it is OK to live alone. Breakfast is clean and the service is good. The only downside is that the train station needs to go down the stairs to the hotel lobby, carry the luggage down, and carry it up when you check out. Accommodation around Chefalu is not cheap, this price is OK.

Sanitation was the biggest issue during my stay. When the housekeeper left, I found that the toilet had not been flushed, which was quite shocking. I flushed it immediately after noticing it, and only afterward realized I should have taken photos as evidence. Unfortunately, it was too late. The towels also looked unusual—they had a strange color, and I couldn't tell whether they had originally been white or were simply off-white (see photos). The bathroom has plumbing issues that become apparent as soon as you take a shower. The small sink barely functions and clearly needs repair. There were also some pieces of paper under the bed, just as other reviewers have mentioned. Apart from these issues, the location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk from the train station even with luggage. However, given the cleanliness and maintenance problems, I would not choose to stay here again.
