As a family of four we really enjoyed two days on our round trip of Sicily at this beautiful hotel. The hotel has everything you need. It has clean and spacious rooms, a tasty breakfast, a great pool area, private beaches with a marvelous scenery and the possibility to do yoga classes and use the gym. July is really hot. The kids spent basically all day at the pool and really enjoyed it. Just watch out not to get sunburned. Another thing to watch out for is that it is extremely slippery around the pool. We saw three guests fall, one who broke two toes falling. Maybe the hotel should put up more signs to encourage cautiousness around the pool. The rooms were really clean and you get an extra beach bag with towels for the pool or beach. The breakfast offered plenty of possibilities, eggs of all kinds, coffees, bread, cereals etc. they also offer delicious gluten free options. The yoga class is really recommended. Angela, a Swedish yoga instructor, offers classes four times a week. The spa treatment is also recommended and at the gym you have a decent selection of multi-gyms, treadmills, dumbbells etc. We stayed at room with even numbers and unfortunately an infant called our room 15-20 times during our stay, waking us up both mornings at six something and waking our kids up one of the nights. The hotel of course couldn’t help this and offered us to check out one hour later on the last day, and a complementary drink. It was really annoying so if you can avoid staying at 111 it might be smart, but hopefully the hotel finds a way to block these kind of random calls. The hotel is located a 15-20 minute walk away from Cefalu. Due to the parking situation in Cefalu I would recommend to take a taxi. It should cost you around 11-12 EUR.

Costa Verde

Cefalu|5.98km from downtown
My best friend and I enjoyed our recent holiday at The Costa Verde Hotel,Sicily. The hotel is huge, with several restaurants, two large pools, a very busy activities team, a super play area for children and a private beach nearby with a free shuttle bus every 15mins ( you would have to cross a busy dual carriageway if you attempted to walk). The other guests were mostly Italian with some French and a few Brits but everyone was very friendly. The rooms we had were clean, quite big, great t.v, wifi etc but the bathrooms were in need of updating (we forgave them for that as the lovely seaviews we had from the balconies made up for it! ). We ate in The Circle Restaurant for breakfast every day (07.30 til 09.30)and were very impressed with the wide variety of food available. There was bacon, sausages, eggs, cold meats, fresh fruit, fruit juices, chilled water, various coffees, teas assorted pastries, toast, cake and delicious bread rolls etc all laid out so you could eat whatever you wanted. The staff were brilliant at keeping every section topped up!.Some guests brought their dogs in with them which might sound a bit gross to some people but they were no bother at all! In this restaurant you could sit wherever you wanted. On an evening we ate in the even bigger main restaurant, you were allocated a table on your first visit then you kept it for the rest of your stay. We were half board and were surprised to get a bottle of house red/ white wine and water with every meal!. The food was mostly good with a huge choice but being buffet style it was never piping hot ( it wouldn't have suited my belived mother, she liked her food red hot!). There was a pizzeria and a more formal dining room with a set meal available with waiter service if you booked in advance but we didnt bother. To buy drinks from the bar you had to load up some money onto a wristband in the reception but dont put too much on because they dont give refunds. It was 8 - 10 euros for cocktails 7.5 euros for a pint of Moretti lager and 2.5 euros for a litre of water....not cheap but thats Italian prices for you! Each guest also has to pay a hotel tourist tax of 2 euros per room per day up to a maximum of 5 days ( 10 euros) directly to the hotel at the end of your stay. The swimming pools were lovely but surprisingly freezing cold depite the temperature being in the 30's 🥶 We still went in though and enjoyed the salsa dancing etc! The only real grumble we had was the lack of information about the hotel and its ameneties upon arrival as it was 49 hours later that we had our welcome meeting from the Jet2 rep by which time we had found out everything we needed to know by constantly asking anyone and everyone questions! We went on a coach laid on by the hotel three mornings at a cost of 3.8 euros return ( get your tickets from the reception area) and thoroughly enjoyed mooching around Cefalu itself a lovely, quaint town with lots of shops, cafes and a super beach! I didnt enjoy our one daytrip

Rentopolis - Suite Bordonaro

Lovely interior very modern and clean good facilities, only downside is the balcony's which face the back of the apartments look out onto a dump. Other residents throw rubbish out which lands on your balcony and due to the smell and flies couldn't hang washing out or sit on the balcony of an evening. The location is perfect and there is a wine bar next door called Sicilian Wine. Lovely owner Lorrenzo! Featured in pics. We was offered a refund of 100 euro when complained about the balcony but really we did want to move, didn't think it was fair as we was staying for nine nights.

We spent three nights here with the wonderful Rosa. The room was very comfortable and well laid out with direct entry into the garden if we wanted to use it. Excellent air conditioning, very comfortable bed, good linens and well laid out bathroom. Top notch housekeeping - everything was immaculate. As others have mentioned, the breakfasts that Rosa prepares are sublime. The most wonderful selection of homemade baked goods, fresh fruits, pastries, the best ricotta I have ever tasted (from nearby Castelbuono, I believe), salami, ham and other cheeses - and perfect cafe espresso, cappuccino, etc. All of this is served in a lovely breakfast room overlooking the garden. Rosa is also a font of useful information regarding restaurants, sights and basically anything you might need. We would love to return.

We travelled as a family with 3 kids (5,7,10) we had two rooms, one was an older style room with double bed and single bed and the other room was a new style with queen bed and single bed and it was clean and fresh. free car parking next door for our hire car. It isnt walking distance to the beach or the tourist area, but as we had a car it didnt matter. It is a beautiful location and a lovely hotel with free buffet breakfast. It was quite simple, no hot food though. Friendly reception staff and free wifi. Would definately stay here again. On Sunday, there are markets just up the road walking distance. They are worth a look!

The place it’s behind the train station, but any way you have to walk up- all around like 15minutes. It’s on 2nd floor apartment no Lift. It’s 4 or 5 rooms inside. Room it’s normal size. Bathroom it’s little bit small. There is no water. The air conditioner was on my left side my head .. so it’s possible to turn on - otherwise next day you will be sick. So about the breakfast There was a plate with 3 very small pieces of cheese - like 1sm -3sm mix together with meat - so I ask the girl for clean cheese 🧀 that’s not mix with meat - she say - she only that and tell me to take out the meat …so this is no comment . Was yogurt with sugar- my guy is diabetic. Was cake - that’s also sugar.and she have it some kind of very old apricot .. so we couldn’t eat anything.. just drink espresso.. what we understand it’s - once you pay - they don’t F… care more about you. Pity I don’t do foto for the breakfast.. I was so disappointed.. the way she talk to me .. that we go in our room .. take our language and we go. So we will never go more there.
