3-Star Hotels in Puri

It was wonderful experience, thogh it was bit anxious in the bigining , special thanks to Mr Sellu who helped me to guide

Food was excellent including complimentary breakfast spread. Services were prompt. Staff were helpful. Rooms are basic and should have better fits and finishes in comparison to the charges. Toilet cistern had cracks. Nearby building is under construction and construction sounds become unbearable late in the evening. Swimming pool is small but well maintained.

room sizes are different for similar categories of rooms. we had a previous experience of staying in a 4 bedded room of huge size, but this time we were allotted a small room. food quality was not good. very little options for complementary breakfast. no option for egg pouch or egg fry or sunny side up in breakfast, which is very uncommon in a hotel like this category

The hotel is in the by lanes of Baliapanda. Behind the Light house. As such no views from the hotel while sea beach is 5 mins walk. Sri Jagannath temple would take 20 mins by rickshaw. Stayed in a delux AC room. The room was indeed spacious however the bathroom lock was broken, the AC temperature couldn’t be controlled below 25 while in the bathroom ( shower ) the soap case / rack was broken. Food is very expensive while they start breakfast (shocked that they don’t even provide 2 complimentary bottle of mineral water had to buy that too Rs 30 / bottle) only after 8 am & simultaneously ask to vacate the room as check out time is 8 am as well. As it was a last moment decision for a darshan of Lord Jagannath had no much option & stayed here.

Walkable distance from sea beach but while going to Jagannath tamale, it’s recommended to avail rickshaw. In terms of in house restaurant of Pp Palace is not upto the mark...need an immediate attention of the management.

Pros: 1. Location - near the beach. 2. Rooms are big. 3. Staff is very helpful & polite cons: 1 restaurant is hopeless, even the complimentary breakfast stinks. 2. They need some renovation, especially the electrical points in the rooms.

Room is moderately cleaned, in top floor some shower problem is there water always drips. And walls are not that clean and windows also are not that clean. But overall the hotel is ok ok type
