Great
GGuest UserI visited some years ago and the hotel was tired and dinghy.
The hotel however has been completely transformed in 2025 and is now very chic, clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Our room had been fully renovated with new bed and furniture and the en suite had a double size shower and a bath.
The restaurant was bright and modern with some self service for cereal and table service for cooked breakfast.
There was ample parking and the adjoining tearoom served a variety of teas and coffees as well as delicious cakes and snacks.
The North York moors are just a few minutes drive and Stokesley is the nearest town with good amenities.
A great place for a weekend break.
Llittle stueyPlace was easy to find and just a 10 min walk to tge town centre. Car park was £8 for 24 hours parking in blue bays. Room was as per any other premier in.
Only gripe room we was in heard what sounded like air con/water pipes squeaking thru the night
GGuest UserThe hotel had everything we needed for our overnight stay for the football. Room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed for 1 nights stay.
Staff that we met were outstanding. 10/10 for customer service
GGuest UserWe booked the family room as visiting friends in the village. Well the room was more like a an apartment, with a separate room with two single beds for the kids. Lovely decor and nice bedding. The rooms were immaculate and fitted out to a high standard. Charming views of the river. We had a lovely evening meal downstairs. If you try the speciality Parmo, be warned that a whole one is definitely one for those with a big appetite. The location is great with an easy walk to local shops and centre of the village. The continental breakfast was also very generous and set us up for the day. In summary, we were really impressed with the rooms and would definitely book again for our next visit and would highly recommend it. Thank you to all the team at The Buck.
GGuest UserStayed in a twin with my son for the football for convenience, only one of everything ( towel / cup etc ) as in they wrongly assumed 1 person was staying there. Very , very average warm / cold breakfast was served the next day. For the money it's a good location and free parking.
AAnonymous UserThe accommodation was lovely and very clean, the only problem was that the staircase to upstairs was so tiny and steep, it was quite difficult getting my luggages up the stairs.
Also I was made to pay a deposit of £50.00 before my code was given to me to unlock the door for entry.
I was told that it would be refunded the next day after check out, it's been a week after I checked out but I haven't recieved any refund.
JJithiI like the ambience and inside, we can't access the WIFI and Television
But still enjoyed
Only problem i faced is some one always knocked our door, but we we open the door can't see anyone.
