3-Star Hotels in Kinmen

We had a great stay at this place. It's a historical building from the 1900s and used to be a pier front shop house. The place was tastefully renovated and in a good location to visit other parts of Kinmen. Local breakfast is served daily which was great. The owners are friendly and helpful as well.

Our 1st trip to Kinmen, so happy that we picked this place to stay. The B&B is only a bit more than a year old. Nicely decorated. Modern. The hostess helped us arrange the scooter rental and taxi/tour driver, better price than book direct. The room is spacious, the bed is huge (M3), the location is mins walk to restaurants and attractions in town. Definitely would recommend this place.

When we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the ”villages” have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of ”help yourself” bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

The environment was incredibly comfortable and quiet, and our room was spotless with no odd smells. The bed's firmness was just perfect, ensuring we slept soundly every night! What truly deserves special mention is the absolutely incredible service provided by the B&B owners. They generously shared local tips on delicious food and fun activities. When we needed to rent a car, the owner went above and beyond, providing shuttle service to pick up and drop off the vehicle. He even helped us carry our luggage upstairs and load it into the car – truly comprehensive and personalized service that went beyond expectations! All this, combined with very friendly prices, made our stay exceptional. The B&B is also conveniently located very close to Jincheng Old Street, making getting around incredibly easy. We wholeheartedly recommend this excellent B&B! The owner's wife was incredibly welcoming and friendly towards children. They have a sweet daughter who played with ours, which was absolutely delightful! My daughter kept asking to play with her new 'little sister' even after we left, haha.

The room is comfortable and clean! The boss and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel breakfast is quite unique and the location is close to tourist attractions. I highly recommend it to friends who are going to Kinmen.

The B&B offers thoughtful pier and airport pick-up and drop-off services, which really put our minds at ease and saved us from worrying about fitting large luggage into a car. The breakfast included delicious meat buns, steamed buns, soy milk, milk, and steamed eggs. The bed and pillows in the room were just right—neither too soft nor too hard—making for a great night's sleep. When we wanted to rent a scooter, the owner even drove us to the rental shop. This excellent service saved us a lot on taxi fares and time. Some reviews mentioned that the B&B is in a somewhat remote location, but I personally disagree. If you want to explore all of Kinmen and Lesser Kinmen, isn't that exactly what you'd want to do—visit every corner? Besides, directly across from the B&B is Zhushan Village, where you can stroll around and admire the beautiful traditional Minnan-style architecture. If I ever visit Kinmen again or transit through Kinmen to Xiamen, I will definitely choose this B&B again.

A decent hotel. Because it is very close to the marathon starting point, the price may fluctuate slightly during the marathon. The hotel facilities are average, but the front desk service is good. They also help to call a taxi before leaving. However, Ctrip's service is not standardized. The room booking information shows that there are windows, but when I arrived, I was told that there are no windows. I temporarily upgraded to a room with a window for an extra fee.

20231116-17 When checking in, the kind lady at the front desk told me that the sink is at the door of the bathroom, which is equivalent to being in the room. As soon as you enter the door, there is a luggage rack next to it. It means that as long as you wash your face and hands, the water will splash out and hit the luggage rack, so The suitcase should be placed next to the bed or window, which is somewhat inconvenient in the movement of use. The bathroom equipment is a bit old. The wet and dry separation cloth is made of plastic cloth. There are traces of old mold all around. There is also some bad smell. Be careful when taking a shower. The shower head may accidentally spray into the toilet. Paper, even though there is an iron plate to protect the toilet paper, it will still spray. I am also concerned about the design of the toilet seat, because the toilet seat is smaller than the toilet seat. Sitting on the toilet seat will still touch the toilet bowl. It feels like the wrong size cover is installed😅. When using the hair dryer, sparks exploded and the hair dryer also emitted black smoke. I was so frightened that I called the front desk and informed the front desk. The lady was very nervous about whether we were injured and quickly found another hair dryer for us, but she did not ask to change rooms. Suggestion, we were too frightened at the moment, and we didn’t ask to change rooms. When sleeping in the middle of the night, there were constant sounds of children playing, and the sound insulation effect was not very good. It was only at breakfast the next day that I discovered that a group of primary school students were visiting, and it would only get busier in the middle of the night. The breakfast service staff are all older mothers. They are very quick and neat, and they clean up very cleanly. The food is all cooked food, which is relatively ordinary, but the focus is on simple style. The coffee is the kind that has been brewed in a pot, which is not. So rich. The location of the hotel is really convenient. There are many restaurants to choose from within walking distance. The nearby Junhui BBQ is very good! The staff in the store are also very kind and friendly, and the business is very good. You don’t have to wait too long after ordering, and the meal is ready. I recommend this yakiniku shop. The overall feeling of Jinrui is that the first floor looks pretty good and has been carefully designed. Unfortunately, the equipment in the room is too old. The room still uses old-style keys. The accessories on the key ring are very distinctive, such as leather bracelets. It is very special to use iron products to mark the room number. The ladies at the front desk were very kind. The lady who checked out the next day also helped us call a taxi to the airport. The service was very good. I hope the person in charge of the store can improve the hardware equipment so that tourists can have a better housing experience.

The hotel is on the main road to the pier. Although it is some distance away from the lively urban area, if you rent a motorcycle, it is actually very convenient to get in and out, and parking is also very convenient. Although the hotel has a bit of an age feel, it is very clean. The double room is 26 square meters and has a high ceiling. It feels very comfortable. This time I stayed in a room with 2 small beds. The mattress was on the hard side. Bottled water was provided in the room. Disposable toiletries provided The sound insulation is not very good. If someone closes the door hard or speaks loudly, you can hear it. The breakfast is simple but not many items, but it is enough to satisfy you There is a young girl at the counter who is very kind and helpful in ensuring our safety on rainy days. She is very cute.

Its location, price and helpful staff were the plus points. Suitable for old tourists travelling in groups, but let down by families with out of control children, and some middle aged men who like to argue aloud in the early hours (beyond the resistance of my ear plugs anyway)! The breakfast was bland, and monotonous, the room furnishings old and not always working, and running out of provisions (i.e. hotel slippers albeit they are too small for US / European sizes).
