We had an excellent stay. The property is brand new, everything’s clean and very well maintained. The unit was spacious, modern and neat, all great. Staff were all great, easy communication and willingness to help at anytime. The property also features a gym which we haven’t had time to try but I’m sure it’s lovely. Would def recommend!
While this didn’t impact the quality of our stay, feedback to housekeeping would be to have hangers in the bathroom (not much space to hang towels) and to provide milk and water to guests on arrival. The property does a great job with extending complimentary coffee beans for an experience but with no milk it’s a bit too strong for non-regular coffee drinkers.

Pauline Ng MKThe house is very well maintained with beautiful quiet surroundings. The room itself is thoughtfully well kept with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen amenities. There is a washing machine and dryer in the place but no coffee provided though it has a coffee maker and kettle. A pleasant surprise of complimentary snacks and bottled water were also provided. It is little far to go downtown but the bus stop is just 5 mins away that takes you there directly. 10 mins walk away are some Asian restaurants and a Chinese supermarket and fruit n vegetable shop.
Overall, the suite is a very nice and new place to stay at and the owner is very welcoming and responsive.
I like to suggest the direction to the apartment can be made more clearer with instruction that says it is at the basement and not just entrance via the back of the house with those lovely wordy signs that we obviously not looking for. Another point to note is the cleaning fee charge that was not mention in the write up which may affect client's decision in renting the place.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 30-minute SkyTrain ride from Vancouver Airport to Vancouver City Centre, followed by a 4-5 minute walk. Alternatively, an Uber takes about 20 minutes. It's also excellent for exploring, with waterfront restaurants and shopping just a 5-10 minute walk away.
The building itself has an older charm and is on the smaller side. Its heavy entrance door is always manned by a doorman. While the intersection immediately next to the hotel didn't feel particularly safe, the hotel's security measures appeared very solid, which was reassuring. Despite having only one elevator, we didn't experience any inconvenience.
Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, as were the bathroom facilities. L'Occitane toiletries were a nice touch, though we were disappointed by the absence of a refrigerator. A minor concern was the lack of sheer curtains on the windows, which raised slight privacy worries from surrounding buildings.
The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel also boasts an attached steakhouse and bakery. For breakfast, guests can choose from three menu options, served in the underground restaurant.

1. The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance to attractions like the Steam Clock and Chinatown, plus you can easily walk to Costco, T&T Supermarket, and the SkyTrain station. Taxis drop you right at the hotel entrance, and it's also very close to the Hertz downtown car rental location.
2. The suite has a double sofa bed, which was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is well-equipped with basic facilities, so you can cook your own meals. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; it's very quiet.
3. The room rate included four complimentary breakfasts, which had a good variety and quality. Several floors in the hotel also provide drinking water, so you can fill your own bottles and save on buying water.
4. The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. During our stay, we accidentally broke a bottle cap, and when we informed them, they said we didn't need to pay for it.
5. The hotel is also very close to the 2026 World Cup stadium, making it an excellent choice for tourists looking to explore the city center.

Guest UserNice hotel, good location, parking was a little cheaper than usual for Vancouver. Room was a suite, large and comfortable. TV in the bedroom was very oddly angled in a way that you couldn’t easily watch it from the bed…. Peculiar …. Recommended.

Guest UserThis was a good property for the price. It had obviously been refitted recently as all the cupboards were brand new. The host was lovely and after double booking us initially, they found us a lovely place to spend a night at within 2 hours of booking. Also there were coffee pods, honey and bodywash/shampoo and conditioner provided which were a nice touch.
However, being the basement floor meant that the room go incredibly hot at night, we managed to find a little water fan to try and mitigate the heat. There isn't any mosquito blockers on the windows so you have to live with them or yhe heat. Ergonomically the wardrobe doors didn't fully open on the left hand side as its quite a small space and the endtable blocked the opening. The kitchen was also newly fitted but was missing some key components for anything more than a night (not washing up sponges or liquid ect.)
Overall I would say the place is a 4/5 in winter but a 3/5 in summer.

Guest UserWe loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Broadway. On arrival at the hotel we found the staff at check-in so welcoming - thank you to Venezia and Myra. And further more each staff member we came in contact with was delightful from the housekeeping staff to the porters. We highly recommend a room on a high floor with balcony to take in the view. The hotel is a short stroll to the waterfront to catch a ferry to Granville Island. Congratulations to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable!

It's comparable to a budget hotel back home, but its strong point is the location. It's within walking distance to attractions like the Gastown Steam Clock. If you're on a short trip and not staying for long, this is a good option.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming upon arrival, always willing to assist with anything we needed. However, when we first entered our room, there was a very strong smell of paint. We were told it had just been painted, but the odor was so intense that staying there would likely have caused discomfort, so we requested a room change. They accommodated our request, although the only available option was a smaller unit.
Another point worth noting is that Trip.com indicates the hotel accepts a cash deposit, but at check-in we were informed that only card payments were allowed, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the room had some constant noises throughout the day and night — I couldn’t identify the source, and they continued even with the air conditioning turned off.
There is also a vending machine right at the hotel entrance, but it was not working properly. I inserted money and did not receive the products; however, the front desk staff promptly assisted me and helped resolve the situation, which I appreciated.
Aside from these issues, the hotel offers good value for the price, and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions.
