3-Star Hotels in Darwin

Our family of four stayed for 5 nights in June. The apartment is clean and spacious. Kitchen is self catering and fully equipped. Supermarket is 10mins walk away. Strong Wifi connection. Cullen Bay and Mindil Beach is a 5 mins drive away.

Prima voor 1 of 2 nachten, appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien (wasmachine/droger). We kregen een gratis upgrade naar uitzicht op de haven, wat super was. Dichtbij strand en parkje, wat bij zonsondergang gezellig druk is. Wat verder weg van supermarkt en centrum. Met een nieuw likje verf (oa. plafond), ziet het er ook weer netter uit.

A nice place to be in Parap within walking distance of the weekend Parap Market, Darwin Bowls Club, Darwin Ski Club and the Museum and Art Gallery of the NT.

Very good One of the best hotels to stay in Australia for half a month. Airport taxis are around AUD $ 26-28. A taxi for two persons is better than an airport bus for AUD15 per person. There are several large supermarket walking streets nearby, not far from walking distance. We got off the plane at 1am and arrived at the hotel. The service staff was waiting for us at the door. Full marks.

Poor communication with the shuttle service. They failed to communicate the shuttle service would be an unmarked car and did not provide the driver with my phone number. This resulted in a long wait at the airport around midnight, plus several phone calls. The room we were given had hair in the bed and stained sheets. Thankfully, we were promptly given a new room, however, the person who gave me the new room key - passed the key to me and told me the room number and went to immediately leave. I had to ask him to show me the room and help move our bags. (I was travelling with my 8 year old child and by this time it was after 1am). It was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

The bathroom door is broken. Instructions are not clear. Ex: laundry room, reception..etc.
