On a large lot, the yard is beautifully landscaped with plenty of parking. There is also a small swimming pool but it was a bit cold so we didn't use it. Two minor issues: There is a railway nearby, and the passing trains will honk a little noisy; there are ants in the room, especially when you bring back food without processing it.

This is not bad in all aspects in the motel. The bathroom is huge. The hotel is 4 miles away from the Monterey Old Fisherman's Wharf, you need to drive there, parking is free, there is a gas station across the road, and you can go to the ”Uncle” supermarket in town for shopping. My favorite place to stay when in the area. The man who runs the place is the nicest man in the world ! Very friendly, understanding, and hospitable. The housekeeper is a sweetheart and works very hard and quietly. Cleanest hotel you will find in the state. Highly recommend.

Good location, clean small hotel with ironing board and electric kettle. Motels with good facilities in the United States. The 17miles entrance one or two kilometers away is a lot cheaper than living in Carmel
