Days Inn by Wyndham Monterey Downtown ★★
"The hotel was a ten-minute walk from the city center. We weren't bothered by the busy road."
Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa ★★★★★
"Super friendly staff - from the valet to the front desk. Really felt like I was being given great service and that it did t batter that I was dressed for hiking!"
Best Western Plus Monterey Inn ★★★
"The soundproofing in this hotel is really bad, I mean, it's terrible all around – above, below, and to the sides. From 6 AM onwards, it felt like I was sleeping in the lobby. You could hear everything happening upstairs, downstairs, in the hallway, and next door. Literally, I could hear what everyone was doing."
Best Western Park Crest Inn ★★★
"The breakfast was great, and the room was very new. Highly recommend if the price is right."
Red Lion Hotel Monterey ★★★
"The room was spotless, as expected from Red Lion. A nice bonus was the complimentary coffee and bread, available for pickup in the lobby from 7 AM. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with a gas station right next door and a Whole Foods Market directly across the street!"
Monterey Marriott ★★★★
"nice location and view"
Monterey Surf Inn ★★
"The environment is average, the boss has a good attitude, it's just an ordinary motel where you can stay in on the way, the price is too expensive and boring. The prices in this place are not cheap."
Inn by the Bay Monterey ★★
"Easy check in and check out, they kept my luggages until my flight on my checking out day. Nice place to stay."
Days Inn by Wyndham Monterey-Fisherman's Wharf Aquarium ★★
"The scenery is nice, the climate is good, the hotel is OK, I will consider coming again when I have time."
Choose the Perfect Monterey Stay for Your Travel Needs
Monterey Bay Inn
"Good in every way."
Stargazer Inn and Suites
"It is in a hotel complex, but the hotel does not have a restaurant and there are no businesses nearby, so you need to bring your own dry food. There is a large supermarket more than one kilometer away from the hotel. You can walk there during the day, but be careful at night."
Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay
"Staffs here were really nice and friendly. They gave me tips how to eat local. Room was so nice, clean, spacious and comfortable bed as well. I could not believe compare to the price I paid. The shower room is outdated a bit but it’ was okfor me. We stayed at the ground level which could have a balcony to the pool. Parking was so easy. They have a big property with many buildings. They were a bit busy at my time of visit. Also they have gym room as well. Not fancy, only a few equipment but at least they have it. For the budget wise, if I’m visiting Monterey again, I will be back here. Also the cafe infront of hotel was so good. Easy convenience and served really good food. We enjoyed the food here a lot."
Spindrift Inn
"The view is good, facing the sea, the beach is downstairs, the fireplace is very American style, and breakfast is delivered to the room"
InterContinental Hotels THE CLEMENT MONTEREY by IHG
"Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Overall very comfortable Service: This is the fastest room service I've ever had in a hotel in the US, bar none. I traveled to Laguna Seca for a track event, and the hotel was very close to the track. The only downside was that I couldn't park my trailer here."
Ramada by Wyndham Monterey
"It's hard to describe this hotel, the only disappointment of this trip. Let's talk about the front desk first. It's a very small room. When we entered the room, three Indians and Pakistanis were chatting. It didn't look like there were any staff members. After looking around, we confirmed that one of them was a staff member. He spoke English that was completely incomprehensible and had no sense of service. Let's talk about the room. It was expected to be small, but the bathroom was so small that you couldn't turn around. Finally, there was another hotel next door with almost the same layout. After dinner, we went to the next door by mistake under the guidance of Google Maps in the dark. It was like a ghost wall and we couldn't find the room. Finally, we found out that it was not the same hotel. In short, the experience was terrible."
Monterey Beach Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
"The sea view of the hotel is great, it's relatively new and overall good!"
Portola Hotel & Spa
"I was given a semi-basement room with a narrow skylight when I checked in, and I decisively changed to a second-floor balcony room. If you are not satisfied with your stay, you must change the room, otherwise you will feel that our Chinese are easy to fool. The area near the hotel is very suitable for vacation and very comfortable."
Hotel Pacific
"Overall, I was not satisfied with the hotel. The facilities were quite old, probably around 20 years old. The door locks even required a key to open, and there was an unpleasant odor in the room, likely from the carpet. The king-size bed and sofa bed were separated by a half-height bar, offering limited privacy. The window faced a residential area, offering little view. However, the hotel's location was excellent. It was within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf, making dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel had its own parking garage, which was convenient. I was not satisfied with the service. There was a minor incident: we lost our iPad. The system indicated it was in the hotel, and after contacting the hotel, they arranged for it to be searched, but they kept saying they hadn't found it, and their attitude was rather rude, as if we were being unreasonable. It was a very unpleasant experience. This hotel needs a complete renovation, and I will not stay here again."
Mariposa Inn and Suites
"There was hair that didn't belong to us on the bathroom floor, and the chairs in the hotel room were visibly stained, making us hesitant to sit on them. Otherwise, it was okay. Surprisingly, there was a fireplace in the room, which was a nice touch."
Best Western de Anza Inn
"Very good hotel. Located near the airport, warm and clean, the facilities are relatively new. The front desk lady is warm and polite, the room is spacious, and the children like it. The breakfast is standard American style, in addition to coffee and bread, there are waffles. The overall cost-effectiveness is high, recommended."
Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa
"We stayed on the second floor for peace and quiet, and luckily it was a weekend, so it wasn't crowded. We stayed for three nights in a very quiet environment. The cleanliness was quite good, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. They also had coffee and tea, but the quality was just average. Check-in and check-out were both very quick. The only downside was that the price we paid through the platform was much higher than the price we got at the hotel."
Scottish Fairway Inn
"Pool was out of service but they allowed us to use the indoor pool at a hotel across the street"
Colton Inn
"Facilities: No heating, only a small electric heater (quite loud), complete paper towels and toiletries Hygiene: Clean and tidy, no odor, really dislike American quilts (two sheets sandwiched together) Environment: Close to the road but not too noisy, plenty of parking spaces in the hotel yard (free), the hotel is very open, a bit like a motel Service: We met two front desks, one was very enthusiastic, the other was very indifferent Wi-Fi is super, super, super bad👎"
Comfort Inn Monterey Peninsula Airport
"Close to Monterey Airport, parking is convenient, very suitable for self-driving transit on Highway 1. The room is sufficient, the bed is comfortable, the basic facilities are complete, and the price is outstanding. The surrounding area is quiet and safe, the service is intimate, the experience of a short rest for one night is very good, the price is close to the people, as a transitional hotel is very qualified, suitable for the road to rest."
Victorian Inn
"Although it is a hotel, the room is very spacious and clean. The decoration is European style and has a fireplace heater. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet rooms. The shower room is very spacious and the water pressure is high. There is a balcony and a courtyard with many green plants outside the room. The environment is beautiful. I especially like that they also include breakfast, which is very rich! It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach and a large supermarket. It's definitely worth a family vacation!"
