2-Star Hotels in Rayong City

The biggest plus of this hotel is the staff! They are incredibly responsive and friendly people. Always smiling, they strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I also want to highlight the location; it's very convenient, with plenty of cafes within walking distance. You can easily walk to the village and 7/11, and the sea is just ten steps away. This is our third time here, and we will definitely be back again.

This was my second stay here. The location is super convenient, less than a 5-minute walk to Diamond Beach. It's also easy to catch a songthaew (local shared taxi) right across the street from the hotel. It's a no-frills type of hotel, perfect for travelers who don't spend much time using hotel facilities and prefer to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach, as it saves travel time. However, because it's on a main road with a 24-hour 7-Eleven and a corner eatery nearby, there's constant noise from people and thumping music late into the night. If you're a light sleeper and your room faces the street, you'll have a hard time getting to sleep.

The hotel room itself was fine, clean and included everything you would expect from this hotel. However, on the second day, we told the front desk that the water heater was not working and could they send someone to have a look. The staff replied they would send in 5 mins. 5 mins came, 1 hour came, 3 hours came. No one came and nobody said anything when we walked past reception. So in my experience of staying in over 100 hotels in Thailand, i learned something very important. When you select a hotel, it does not matter how much you pay. The hotel service is usually equal to the standard of the hotel. In this case, it is ranked 2.5 stars. So even i paid 4000 Baht per night , no ABF, we should only expect a 2.5 stars service from this hotel. I will book Sai Kaew next trip, and only 200 metres from this hotel.

The location is right opposite to beach with their restaurant in between. Rooms are like nice and clean but the orientation is like a dormitory with walls between the rooms and glass partition n door at room entrance. So if someone is looking for beach side location is great but for families looking for more amenities and common areas in the hotel then it does disappoint. The evening is pleasant with the extension of restaurant on beach like all other resorts do on the beach.

Останавливаемся в этой гостинице второй год. Расположена она очень удачно в самом центре пляжа возле пирса и парковки. Можно добраться сразу на катере, а если от парома на тук-туке, то надо смотреть, чтобы привезли в этот поворот, потому что часто привозят в первый поворот к другим гостиницам, а оттуда по песку с чемоданами далеко и неудобно. Эта дорога прямо в центре пляжа, они идет к зданию охраны заповедника. В прошлом году был новый ремонт, мебель не новая, но все работает. В прошлом году не было ТВ каналов, но был Youtube, в этом году не брали фильмы с собой, понадеялись, что посмотрим в Youtube, но он теперь не работает, только ТВ каналы на тайском, в основном новости и реклама. Хотя это странно, в гостинице жили только иностранцы, можно было хоть один канал на английском подключить или оставить Youtube. В гостинице всего 6 номеров, рядом массаж и ресторан соседней гостиницы. В отличие от соседних гостиниц в этой есть свои лежаки на пляже, очень удобно. Управляющий плохо говорит по-английски, но всегда очень дружелюбный и старается во всем помочь, проблем в коммуникации не было. В этом году стало намного больше туристов на пляже, стало много лодок и катеров, такого спокойствия и умиротворения как в прошлом году уже нет, но вода очень чистая, песок белоснежный, все еще похоже, что это заповедник.

Pros: First-line access to the beautiful white sands of Wong Duang, with direct beach access. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts are modest but edible: rice, noodles, eggs, sausages, toast – you won't go hungry. Cons: The bungalows are a bit tired. There's a serious lack of lighting, and the fridge leaked twice. Verdict: Come for the stunning beach and affordable price, and overlook the 'budget' charm. The staff definitely make up for it.

Very good for a budget hotel! The AC works fine, and the bathroom is decent enough. The price-to-quality ratio is fair. The location is convenient, right by the water. They even have their own parking for scooters.

Oh Taley Resort is a really great place to stay if you’re looking for calm, quiet, and relaxation. The atmosphere is peaceful, and it’s perfect for escaping noise and stress. The location is very nice, close to the sea, and the overall environment is clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is excellent, and the service around the resort is friendly and professional. Everything is well organized, and you can truly enjoy your time here. The only small thing that could make the experience even better would be adding a coffee machine for guests. Even a simple option selling coffee for 40–50 baht would be very convenient, especially since 7-Eleven is a bit far. This would be a great added value for guests. Overall, everything is great: location, pool, service, and peaceful vibe. I highly recommend Oh Taley Resort and would happily stay here again.

Это двухэтажный дом, в котором есть 3 доп комнаты. Мы из забронировали с друзьями и сняли весь, сами того не подозревая. Расположение огонь, 5 мин до пляжа основного , нам на нем так понравилось , чтоб а дальние даже не ходили. Потолки низковаты- но это мелочи , мы чисто поспать заселялись. За такую цену все очень хорошо !

Had a 2 night stay with some friends. Had my own room with a comfortable bed and good aircon and a rotating fan. Shower was warm and comfortable, could have more amenities. Towels were provided.
